Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met honden (Golden Retriever en Hollandse Schapendoes) en heb de afgelopen jaren vaker op de hond van vrienden gepast (Golden Retriever x Friese Stabbij). Ik ben een echt hondenmens en het lijkt me leuk en gezellig om ook op jouw hond te passen! Ik werk parttime voor de overheid en ik geef naailessen. Ik woon sinds kort weer alleen en het lijkt me heel gezellig om in de weekenden op een hond te mogen passen. Ik ga graag wandelen (ik train voor een meerdaagse hike in september), zowel in de parken in mijn buurt als op het strand (als een hond met de tram durft). Ik heb een ruim appartement (85m2) en een groot dakterras waar een hond ook buiten kan. Er is genoeg ruimte voor een hond om zijn/haar ding te doen of te rusten op een beschut plekje.

Over: I was taking care of all my neighbours dogs in my previous appointment in Amsterdam. In love with them and like to take them out for long walks. (Also run with the dogs that likes it) I’m working remotely all the time and can take care of dogs in my place for day, nights or both. Walking them outside, let them play in my fenced yard or run if they are into that are what I could offer. I can take care of cats in your place as I have minor allergies to some of them and it will become major if I stay with them longer. For dogs, I’m open to keep them at your place or mine. I have no pet by my own but like them more than anything else.

Over: I’ve been caring for pets most of my life, starting with my own cats and dogs back home in Aruba. From a young age I learned what it means to be responsible for another life, and I’ve always seen pets as true members of the family. That’s exactly how I treat the animals I care for, with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. Since moving to the Netherlands, I’ve looked after friends’ cats and dogs and discovered how much I enjoy providing this kind of care. My schedule is quite flexible at the moment. I’m mostly free on weekends, and during the week I only have university classes, which gives me plenty of free time for pet care. This routine allows me to give pets plenty of attention and keep them on a schedule that feels natural and consistent. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always keep my home clean and pet-friendly so they can feel relaxed. I have safe walking areas right outside (both grass and pavement), and a park just 10 minutes away that’s perfect for walks, play, and fresh air.

My weekends are spent walking in parks and enjoying the outdoors. Or if I am in the company of a cat, curling up on the sofa and giving them all the cuddles. I am not a big party person so do not go out frequently and don’t have big groups over to my place. You can trust that your pet will be in a calm environment. I live in an apartment with a park close by. I live about ten mins from the beach and love to take dogs there (off leash if they are allowed). Please note I have a steep staircase so if your pet is not good with stairs I am hopefully strong enough to carry them up!
