Over: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, grew up with family pets and have looked after dogs for friends and family over the years, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of breeds, sizes and energy levels. I also have a background in healthcare, so I’m pretty attentive to how a person or dog is feeling physically and happy to help with any special needs. Living in Delft, I love getting outside for long walks around the canals and parks, so your pup will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. I’m reliable, patient and treat every dog like my own, sticking to feeding schedules and routines so they feel at home. I’m a grad student doing research right now, so my schedule is flexible but does vary week to week. I’m happy to work with you to find times that suit, whether that’s daily walks, drop ins or longer sits, and can usually adjust around your dog’s routine rather than the other way around. I’m comfortable looking after your dog either at my place or yours, depending on what works best for everyone. My apartment is calm and quiet, perfect for a relaxed stay, but I’m also happy to come to your home and keep things consistent with your dog’s usual environment, routines and any house rules you have.

Over: Hi! I’m Edie, I’m from The Netherlands and I’ve always absolutely loved animals. I grew up with cats and have always enjoyed being around them, but I also love taking care of dogs and spending time with them. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and ages, including looking after my aunt’s dog from when she was a puppy. I also regularly take care of a friend’s dog for longer periods when they’re away on holiday, and I’ve looked after a friends' Husky/Malamute for several days as well. I also have experience with cats and house sitting. I took care of a cat and looked after someone’s home for around six months while they were away. I’m responsible, caring, and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also took them on daily walks and spent time playing with them so they felt comfortable, happy, and cared for. I usually care for dogs together with my partner, so your dog can receive extra attention, affection, and support. We will do our best to make sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you are away. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule and do not need to be on campus every day. I usually only go to school for a short period in the afternoons, and during university holidays I have even more availability. My partner works from home, which means there is almost always someone around to keep your dog company and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. We are generally flexible and can accommodate both weekdays and weekends. Please feel free to contact us in advance to discuss your preferred dates and schedule, and we will do our best to arrange care that works for everyone. We have a small, fenced garden where dogs can safely enjoy some fresh air and outdoor time under supervision. Our neighborhood is also surrounded by nature, with plenty of pleasant walking routes nearby, making it easy to provide regular walks and enrichment. My partner has previous experience raising and training dogs, so we understand the importance of consistency, patience, and paying attention to each dog's individual needs and personality. We also have a good understanding of basic pet safety, including foods that dogs should avoid and general precautions to keep them healthy and safe. If your dog has any special dietary requirements, feeding routines, or other specific instructions, we will carefully follow them to make sure your pet receives the care they are used to at home. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where your dog can relax and feel like part of the family.

Over: Ik ben een echte hondenliefhebber met veel ervaring met verschillende rassen en karakters. Zelf heb ik Maxi gehad, een Golden Retriever uit het asiel. Maxi had een flink rugzakje, was bang voor vreemde mensen en kon uit angst weleens bijten. Dit heeft bloed, zweet en tranen gekost, maar met heel veel geduld, liefde en duidelijke grenzen heeft hij geleerd ons te vertrouwen. Hij woont inmiddels op een plek met meer ruimte (bij mijn vriend), maar door hem weet ik precies hoe ik een hond met angst of een handleiding moet lezen en begeleiden. Daarnaast ben ik opgegroeid met Shih Tzu's bij mijn vader. De eerste heb ik van puppy af aan zelf opgevoed, waardoor ik weet wat er bij socialisatie en training komt kijken. Mijn vaders huidige Shih Tzu is ook erg eenkennig en houdt niet van vreemden, maar is dol op mij. Ik pas nog regelmatig met veel plezier op haar. Door deze ervaring ben ik niet snel onder de indruk van een hond die wat extra tijd nodig heeft om te wennen. Kleine hondjes (zoals Shih Tzu's of Teckels) of fitte, middelgrote honden die wat verlegen of eenkennig zijn, zijn bij mij in Tanthof in goede handen. Hoewel ik zelf op dit moment nog geen eigen hond heb, mis ik de wandelingen, knuffelmomenten en gezelligheid die een hond met zich meebrengt. Daarom heb ik een profiel op Rover aangemaakt. Zo kan ik iets doen waar ik ontzettend blij van word én tegelijkertijd andere hondeneigenaren helpen met een betrouwbare en liefdevolle oppas of wandelmaatje voor hun hond. Omdat ik fulltime als applicatiebeheerder werk en veel vanuit huis (in Delft) werk, kan ik mijn tijd flexibel indelen. De verzorging van jouw hond past dan ook perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine. Voor mijn werkdag start, maak ik een lekkere ochtendwandeling. Tijdens mijn werkdag ligt de hond rustig en tevreden naast mijn bureau te slapen. Rond het middaguur (tijdens mijn lunchpauze) is er tijd voor een frisse neus en een plaspauze. Na mijn werkdag neem ik de hond mee voor een uitgebreide wandeling. Let op mijn kantoordagen: Op maandag werk ik standaard op kantoor en is de opvang gesloten. Daarnaast werk ik soms nog één flexibele extra dag per week op kantoor. Mijn Rover-kalender houd ik wekelijks nauwkeurig bij, zodat je altijd precies kunt zien welke dagen ik thuiswerk! De verzorging stem ik volledig af op de service die je boekt. Komt jouw hond bij mij logeren of voor dagopvang? Dan verblijft hij in een rustige, huiselijke omgeving in mijn appartement in Tanthof. Tijdens mijn werkuren als applicatiebeheerder is er veel rust in huis en kan de hond lekker ontspannen of slapen naast mijn bureau. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag in de omgeving of het Abtswoudsepark. Breek je liever de dag van jouw hond vanuit je eigen huis? Ik bied ook een hondenuitlaatservice aan! Ik kom de hond dan bij jou thuis ophalen voor een flinke wandeling in de buurt en breng hem daarna weer voldaan thuis. Let op: Ik pas dus alleen op bij mij thuis of laat de hond uit vanaf jouw adres. Langdurig oppassen in het huis van het baasje zelf (house sitting) bied ik niet aan.

Will is a trained doctor in veterinarian medicine although he now works in AI engineering. We have a little Shiba named Mochi who loves making new friends. We have cared for a wide range of dogs, so you can rest assured your fur baby is in safe hands. work full time from home, which means your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. I’m around throughout the day to keep an eye on them, top up water, and offer plenty of company and attention. We’ll fit in walks and playtime around my working hours, and someone is almost always here, so your pup gets a steady routine and constant supervision rather than being left to their own devices. We have a huge stretch of forest near our home that we take Mochi out to every day, so when your little one joins us, they’ll be coming along on our daily walks too.

We live in an apartment with lift and a balcony. There are many green areas in our neighbourhood, where your puppy can go to explore and play. After every walk, they will get treats and then we'll play some more if they're up for it. Then, in the afternoons we will spend some time together on the couch while we watch something on TV. Finally, before going to sleep, we'll go for a walk again. Of course, we're happy to accommodate to your puppy's routine and will be recording our time together with photos so that we can share them with you.
