She also improved some of his pulling behavior. Regular updates and pictures kept us assured and also entertained. He came back home clean, groomed, happy and healthy. Even though she's not at home, my neighbors and I have had a dog on our street for 12 years. We named her Cinnamon because she had cinnamon fur, but she got really old and we lost her last year. So I've had many animal friends since I was a kid. It's great. I work 7-8 hours a day in a restaurant, but I find out the day before when I will be leaving or starting work. But don't worry, it's not a problem because my mom is at home when I’m not there. 😊 I can visit your pet at home, take long walks with your pets, and stay and spend time with your pets at your home. It’s great and i am very excited

I grew up with her and took care of her, including going on long walks, taking her to different trainings, and simply feeding her and loving her. I am experienced with taking care and showing love to different types of dogs. I am currently a third-year law student. I have plenty of time to spend taking care of your pets, going on walks and playing with them. I am available for boarding on the weekends and throughout the week. I live in a lovely family neighbourhood, which offers great variety of parks and playgrounds for pets. I would love to take your pet out on a play date and show them love and fun times.

 I am Basma, a 27-year-old professional living and working in the Netherlands. I moved to the Netherlands back in 2019 for my master studies at Leiden University, and started working since 2021 upon graduation. My journey from the bustling streets of Shanghai to the serene parks of Den Haag to the charming canals of Amsterdam has been an exciting and amazing adventure. 

 My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my deep love for dogs and my commitment to their well-being, and the fact that I cannot have my own doggy in the near future :-(((((. I genuinely desire to ensure that pets receive the best care and love that they deserve, even when their owners are away for holidays/busy with work. I always try my best to understand and empathize with the anxiety pet owners feel when they have to leave their furry family members behind, and I strive to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for every dog I care for. Luckily my work is super flexible and I can work from home at any time if I want, meaning I can be with dogs 24/7 if needed.

 In addition to the joy of spending time with animals, being a pet sitter allows me to meet wonderful pet owners and become a trusted part of their lives. It's a rewarding experience that combines my love for dogs with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within the community especially now I'm trying to be more extroverted.
 Last but not the least, I always respect different personalities different dogs have, so please share as much information as possible about your (and my upcoming) friend when reaching out.

 Environment & Services
 I live in a quiet and comfortable apartment by myself near Den Haag Centraal Station, nearby which there is a gaint park where I can always see a lot of people walking their dogs. As a bonus, there is also a deer park. I prefer to walk our fluffy friends there in the park, or somewhere nearby if he/she has a 'go-to' place :-)  

Good to know 
- I can go for walks 1-3 times per day (morning & afternoon), at least 30 minutes each time, or longer if needed.  
- For day care & one-night boarding (1 dog only): I will be with the dog the whole day; For multiple-night boarding (1 dog only), I can be with the dog all the time except when I need to do grocery shopping (max. 1 hour). (My job doesn't require me to work from the office, so I can be with the dog as much as needed) 
- Dogs can stay in every corner of my apartment except my bed! 
 - Home visits take approx. 30 mins (can be longer if needed upon consultation), and I'm also willing to water plants :-)

Over: Hello and nice to meet you 😊 both me and my husband owned dogs in the past: we both had Rhodesian ridgebacks and an English Bulldog. We love dogs and we would love to get our kids to grow up more around animals and dogs. Our girls are aged 5, 7 and 8 so we’d love to host a dog who gets along with children :) Me and my husband are working from home on some days so we can be flexible! We are home most nights as we have kids, so overnight stay is not a problem. We have a small fenced garden, and enough room in the living area for a dog to chill. We will make sure the fur baby is comfortable!

Over: Mijn naam is Dide, ik ben 23 jaar en woon in Rijswijk met mijn partner en kat van bijna 1 jaar oud. Ik ben sinds jongs af aan opgegroeid met verschillende dieren zoals; Honden, katten, vissen, paarden, konijnen & cavia's. Ik vind het geweldig om aandacht en tijd te besteden aan de ontwikkeling en aandacht van het dier. Ik ben geduldig en kijk er erg naar uit om een leuke band met het dier op te bouwen! Ik werk parttime op een kinderopvang in Den Haag. Hier werk ik voornamelijk op maandag, donderdag & vrijdag en ben daardoor beschikbaar op dinsdag, woensdag en in het weekend. Daarnaast werkt mijn partner regelmatig thuis. Hij is ook een enorme dierenliefhebber die graag ruimte en tijd maakt om mij hier en daar een handje te helpen om zoveel mogelijk beschikbaar te zijn voor de dieren. Ik heb zelf een Siberische kat van 1 jaar (kater, gecastreerd). Hij is over het algemeen vrij rustig en open. Ik woon in een appartement met een groot balkon (met katten net), vlak bij een groot park, goed geschikt voor mooie wandelingen. Ik ga geduldig om met dieren geef ze de ruimte die ze nodig hebben, nieuwe mensen kunnen natuurlijk heel spannend zijn!

Over: Me and my partner are doing this together so we can assure that one of us is usually at home. We both have experience taking care and looking after dogs. My family used to have a Labrador which I mostly took care of in the early stages (0-1 year). My partner has experience with raising a corgi pup. We used to regularly dog sit a chowchow on Tuesdays for almost a year. We have also dogsat for friends. My partner and I are saving up to get a Corgi sometime next year. Until then we hope to take care of other dogs in the mean time. I don’t have a regular schedule as I work in health care. But since I usually have dayshifts I am free in the evening. I am also free every other weekend. My partner works from home so at least one of us is home. We live on the second floor with a balcony. The complex is pet friendly. Our house is clean and does not have small things lying around. The neighborhood also has a park.

Over: I’ve been around dogs for years and totally get their quirks! Whether your pup loves long walks, belly rubs, or just chilling, I’m here to make sure they’re happy and cared for. I’m great with puppies, senior dogs, and everything in between. Think of me as your dog’s new best buddy! Taking care of pets is a big part of my daily routine! I make sure to give them plenty of attention, exercise, and love throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening cuddles, I fit pet care into my schedule to keep them happy and comfortable. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe and at home. Whether in my place or yours, I keep things clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly. I follow any special instructions, keep a close eye on their needs, and always ensure they get the care and attention they deserve.

Over: I recently moved to the Netherlands from Aruba, where I’ve always been surrounded by animals. I help care for seven dogs and two cats back home with my family. Being away from them has made me realize how much I miss having animals around me. That’s why I’m so excited about the opportunity to care for dogs here. Not only does it bring a little piece of home back into my life, but it also gives me the chance to help others by making sure their pets are loved and well taken care of. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and will treat your dog with the same care and affection I give my own. At the moment, I work part-time from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility and availability to care for pets throughout the day. I can easily fit in regular walks, playtime, and cuddles without any stress or time pressure. My schedule allows me to give pets the attention they deserve, whether it's for a few hours or an entire day. I also really enjoy doing sleepovers with pets, it's comforting for both me and the animals! If overnight care is needed, I’m more than happy to provide that as well. Having pets around fits naturally into my lifestyle, and I truly enjoy their company. I currently live in an apartment, so I don’t have a fenced yard, but I make up for it by going on multiple walks a day, usually 4 to 5 times. It keeps the dogs happy and active, and it helps me stay energized too! I always make sure the dogs are on a secure leash and never left unattended outside. Safety is a top priority. I only feed treats and food approved by the owners, and I always follow any special instructions carefully, whether it’s about diet, behavior, or medical needs. At home, I create a calm and cozy environment where dogs can relax, feel safe, and be themselves. I absolutely love cuddling with animals, so your dog will get plenty of affection and attention. I also keep the environment clean and quiet, avoid interactions with unknown animals, and make sure your dog feels like they’re in a second home. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my focus.

Over: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals – our family always had cats, and later we welcomed dogs into our lives. I’ve always loved spending time with them, whether it was playing, cuddling, or just being in their company. For me, life without pets simply isn’t complete. I bring that same love and care to every pet I look after, treating them like part of the family. I work from home Monday-Friday, so I am quite flexible for pet sitting during the week. I am also available for pet sitting on weekends, but would need some in advance notice. I would love to welcome small dogs and/or cats into our home. I will make sure that they feel safe, loved, and comfortable – whether that means playtime, gentle walks, cozy cuddles, or simply being there to keep them company. I stick to their routine, give them lots of attention, and treat them like my own. Please note that I own a cat Bubbles and our pets would need to get along.
