Over: Hoi! Ik ben Mireille en ik heb jarenlang mijn leven gedeeld met Bello, mijn Golden Retriever en beste vriend. Ik heb hem destijds geadopteerd uit het asiel en tot het einde met veel liefde mogen verzorgen. Sinds Bello er niet meer is, mis ik het hebben van een hond om me heen enorm. Vooral Golden Retrievers hebben een speciaal plekje in mijn hart. Hun zachte karakter, vrolijke hoofd en gekkigheid… daar word ik erg blij van. Daarom bied ik me graag aan als wandelmaatje of als oppas bij mij thuis. Ik hoop vooral weer af en toe dat fijne hondencontact te hebben en tegelijk een eigenaar te helpen die een oppas zoekt, want ik weet hoe moeilijk het kan zijn. Ik heb ervaring met puber en senior honden, medicatie, snuffelwandelingen, honden met een rugzakje en het aanpassen aan wat een hond op dat moment nodig heeft. Ik woon in een appartementencomplex (met lift), met een grote achtertuin voor een gezellige speelsessie en een tuin aan de voorkant waar lekker gewandeld kan worden. Verder zijn er diverse parken in de buurt. Korte wandelingen, langere snuffelroutes, lekker spelen met de bal of een logeerpartijtje, ik kijk graag samen wat past bij jou(w hond). Ik werk deels vanuit huis en ben flexibel in overleg. Bij mij krijgt je hond aandacht, liefde, rust en wandelingen op zijn of haar tempo. Ik werk hybride en fulltime, deels kantoor en thuis. Ik ben beschikbaar voor opvang gedurende dag of logeerpartijtjes met name in het weekend. In overleg is er veel mogelijk en ik denk graag mee waar nodig. Ik woon in een appartementencomplex met aangrenzend een grote achtertuin voor een tussendoortje speelsessie. Voor wandelingen kunnen we voor het appartement terecht en bij diverse parkjes in de buurt!

Over: I love animals but due to our long trips we are not able to have our own pet. This allows me and my wife to spend time and take care of animals without leaving them alone when we need to travel. I am normally available on weekends. For week days it depends on workload and business trips. This is something that change on a constant basis. I would like to take care of Pets in my own house. I got a closed garden and also there is a park close by where we can go and play.

Over: I’ve been caring for pets most of my life, starting with my own cats and dogs back home in Aruba. From a young age I learned what it means to be responsible for another life, and I’ve always seen pets as true members of the family. That’s exactly how I treat the animals I care for, with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. Since moving to the Netherlands, I’ve looked after friends’ cats and dogs and discovered how much I enjoy providing this kind of care. Now that I have more free time, I’m excited to continue helping other pet parents by giving their furry friends the same comfort and care I would give my own. My schedule is quite flexible at the moment. I’m mostly free on weekends, and during the week I only have university classes, which gives me plenty of free time for pet care. I usually go to the gym in the mornings, so my afternoons and evenings are open and flexible for walks, playtime, or drop-in visits. This routine allows me to give pets plenty of attention and keep them on a schedule that feels natural and consistent. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always keep my home clean and pet-friendly so they can feel relaxed. I have safe walking areas right outside (both grass and pavement), and a park just 10 minutes away that’s perfect for walks, play, and fresh air.

Over: I truly love dogs and enjoy spending time with them. I have often cared for a dog who was around 2 years old, making sure their meals and potty breaks were well taken care of. I also took them on daily walks and spent time playing with them so they felt comfortable, happy, and cared for. We will do our best to make sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you are away. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule and do not need to be on campus every day. I usually only go to school for a short period in the afternoons, and during university holidays I have even more availability. My partner works from home, which means there is almost always someone around to keep your dog company and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. We are generally flexible and can accommodate both weekdays and weekends. Please feel free to contact us in advance to discuss your preferred dates and schedule, and we will do our best to arrange care that works for everyone. We have a small, fenced garden where dogs can safely enjoy some fresh air and outdoor time under supervision. Our neighborhood is also surrounded by nature, with plenty of pleasant walking routes nearby, making it easy to provide regular walks and enrichment. My partner has previous experience raising and training dogs, so we understand the importance of consistency, patience, and paying attention to each dog's individual needs and personality. We also have a good understanding of basic pet safety, including foods that dogs should avoid and general precautions to keep them healthy and safe. If your dog has any special dietary requirements, feeding routines, or other specific instructions, we will carefully follow them to make sure your pet receives the care they are used to at home. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where your dog can relax and feel like part of the family.

Over: Although I don’t have formal experience as a dog sitter, I’ve always been very comfortable around dogs. Many of my friends’ and neighbors’ dogs naturally connect with me, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them.. whether it’s playing, going for walks, or simply keeping them company.  I am Basma, a 27-year-old professional living and working in the Netherlands. I moved to the Netherlands back in 2019 for my master studies at Leiden University, and started working since 2021 upon graduation. My journey from the bustling streets of Shanghai to the serene parks of Den Haag to the charming canals of Amsterdam has been an exciting and amazing adventure. 

 My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my deep love for dogs and my commitment to their well-being, and the fact that I cannot have my own doggy in the near future :-(((((. I genuinely desire to ensure that pets receive the best care and love that they deserve, even when their owners are away for holidays/busy with work. I always try my best to understand and empathize with the anxiety pet owners feel when they have to leave their furry family members behind, and I strive to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for every dog I care for. Luckily my work is super flexible and I can work from home at any time if I want, meaning I can be with dogs 24/7 if needed.

 In addition to the joy of spending time with animals, being a pet sitter allows me to meet wonderful pet owners and become a trusted part of their lives. It's a rewarding experience that combines my love for dogs with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within the community especially now I'm trying to be more extroverted.

 Environment & Services
 I live in a quiet and comfortable apartment by myself near Den Haag Centraal Station, nearby which there is a gaint park where I can always see a lot of people walking their dogs. As a bonus, there is also a deer park. I prefer to walk our fluffy friends there in the park, or somewhere nearby if he/she has a 'go-to' place :-)  

Good to know 
- I can go for walks 1-3 times per day (morning & afternoon), at least 30 minutes each time, or longer if needed.  
- For day care & one-night boarding (1 dog only): I will be with the dog the whole day; For multiple-night boarding (1 dog only), I can be with the dog all the time except when I need to do grocery shopping (max. 1 hour). (My job doesn't require me to work from the office, so I can be with the dog as much as needed) 
- Dogs can stay in every corner of my apartment except my bed! 
 - Home visits take approx. 30 mins (can be longer if needed upon consultation), and I'm also willing to water plants :-)

Over: We can't live without our furry friends! This is 100% true for me. I'm an animal lover with experience in raising dogs (6 years), cats (2 years), and rabbits (3 years), and I also volunteer for a stray animal protection project, where I used to visit the shelter every weekend to take care of stray dogs. I am currently a student, so I have more free time and can arrange my schedule flexibly. If you have specific timing requirements, you can talk with me, and I will try my best to accommodate your needs. Lastly, I must say, I have so much love to give to the little friend! Because I'm studying abroad, I can't be with my dog. I miss him so much and also long to spend time with other adorable friends. I will definitely keep your pet company, talk to them, play with them, cook for them, and of course, take care of them. I’m currently a student and have no lessons anymore, so I’m very flexible and also have lot of free time. I also like taking walks in the forest near my place, that makes your furry friend my best company. I love animals so much; they are the best companions to me and are individuals in their own right. I believe adorable little friend is unique, and I’d respect their personality and preferences when interacting with them. Therefore, I'm very willing to get to know your pet first and then be friend with them in their favorable way. But in general, I’ll ensure they have enough sleep and play time, and give them a lot of attentions.

Over: I grew up surrounded by many dogs and taking care of them. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk and host their dogs. I worked as a dogwalker and dogsitter for a company in Amsterdam for a couple of years alongside my studies, which gave me expertise on the field. I am also a certified dog trainer with experience. I work remotely most days, giving me time to spend with my dogs, Uruz and Rambo, and their friends staying over. We do at least 3 walks a day - morning before my work, at lunch time and a long one in the afternoon ! I also like to take ‘play-breaks’ - short breaks from work to play with the doggos :) I live in an apartment where they have access to the full house, but keeping them mostly in the living room where I work so I can always keep an eye on them. They are allowed on the sofa, except if you trained them not to, of course.

Over: We are a family based in The Hague who genuinely enjoy having dogs around. Over the years we’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages and personalities, and we’re used to adapting to what each dog needs. Our home is located right next to Clingendael Park and the Haagse Bos, which makes it ideal for regular walks in a calm, green environment. We also have a spacious, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely spend time outside during the day. Our work schedules are hybrid, so we rotate days working from home. This means there is usually someone present and dogs are rarely left alone for long periods. We have a toddler at home who absolutely loves dogs. We’ve been doing this since before she was born, so she is very comfortable around them. It’s important that your dog is gentle and okay around young children. Inside, dogs are part of the home and can settle wherever they feel most comfortable. Some prefer to stay close, others like their own space, and both are completely fine. We focus on keeping things calm, safe and predictable. We pay attention to things like secure entry and exit, routines, and clear communication. During the stay, we’re happy to send updates in the way that works best for you. We’ve built strong relationships with many returning clients, which we value a lot. If you’d like, you’re always welcome to arrange a short meet and greet beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit. First of all…. We love dogs! 😂 I think outer picture library speaks for ourself but we absolutely love them and unfortunately we don’t have our own dog anymore so that’s been a big change for us. We’re a family that loves to have dogs around and help people feel comfortable while they’re away from their dogs. I’m currently working a mostly remote job and my wife is doing her masters in the evening. This means that we’re very often at home which allows us to do this. So someone will almost always be home to accompany your dog. Safety, trust and communication are very important to us. We will always ensure a safe environment through several factors such as making sure that the hallway door is closed before opening our front door, preventing escapes.

Over: Sinds 5 jaar pas ik op hondjes en katten in Den Haag met veel liefde, zorg en aandacht. Ik vind veiligheid van mijn oppas dieren heel belangrijk en zorg ik dat ze veilig zijn.Ik ontva g alleen een dier om volle aandacht en zorg kunnen geven.Vooral, ben ik ervaren met puppies, kleine en middelgrote honden en alle soort van katten. Ze kunnen ook bij mij thuis logeren. Ik werk part time vanuit thuis , dus heb ik veel tijd om mijn oppas dieren te verzorgen. Ik kan hondjes uitlaten of wandelingen maken met ze en met bal laten spelen. Ik woon in een apartement die veilig is voor dieren.Er is ook een grote balkon en grote park om ze te uitlaten. Verder heb ik geen kinderen of andere huisdieren.
