Over: I’m from Argentina, and I truly miss my pets back home. Growing up surrounded by animals made me very attached to them, and being away from my own pets is one of the reasons why I enjoy caring for animals so much. At the moment, I don’t have pets of my own, but I really enjoy taking care of animals temporarily. Spending time with dogs and cats, walking them, playing, and giving them affection makes me feel connected and happy, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. 🐾💙 Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I organize my schedule to make sure dogs get enough time for walks, play, and attention throughout the day. I enjoy starting or ending my day with walks, and I’m flexible to adapt to each dog’s needs and energy level. During the week, I make time for regular walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. On weekends, I’m also available for longer walks or extra time outdoors. Caring for dogs is something I truly enjoy, so it never feels like a chore—it’s part of my routine. 🐾💙 I provide pet care only in my home. I live in a cozy studio apartment in a very central area of Leiden, surrounded by many nearby parks. This allows me to easily take dogs outside for frequent walks, exercise, and fresh air. I usually work from home, so I’m able to supervise pets throughout the day and give them constant attention and care. Even though my space is a studio, it’s calm, clean, and safe, and I make sure dogs get plenty of outdoor time in the nearby green areas so they stay happy, active, and relaxed. 🐾💙

Over: I’ve been caring for pets most of my life, starting with my own cats and dogs back home in Aruba. From a young age I learned what it means to be responsible for another life, and I’ve always seen pets as true members of the family. That’s exactly how I treat the animals I care for, with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. Since moving to the Netherlands, I’ve looked after friends’ cats and dogs and discovered how much I enjoy providing this kind of care. Now that I have more free time, I’m excited to continue helping other pet parents by giving their furry friends the same comfort and care I would give my own. My schedule is quite flexible at the moment. I’m mostly free on weekends, and during the week I only have university classes, which gives me plenty of free time for pet care. I usually go to the gym in the mornings, so my afternoons and evenings are open and flexible for walks, playtime, or drop-in visits. This routine allows me to give pets plenty of attention and keep them on a schedule that feels natural and consistent. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always keep my home clean and pet-friendly so they can feel relaxed. I have safe walking areas right outside (both grass and pavement), and a park just 10 minutes away that’s perfect for walks, play, and fresh air.

Mijn vriendin woont in Noorwegen en heeft een hond en van dag een waren we beste vrienden. Ze zegt altijd dat ik meer van de hond hou dan van haar! Ik zorg graag voor uw hond. Ik heb een aantal maanden vrij genomen van werk en heb hierdoor alle tijd om op uw hond te passen. Zowel overdag als ‘s avonds. Mijn eigen hond woont in Noorwegen bij mijn vriendin. Ik woon in jaren 30 rijtjeshuis met een kleine volledig omheinde tuin. Er wonen dus geen andere honden. Er zijn grasvelden en parken in de buurt. Als u en uw hond dat fijn vinden kunnen we ook naar het bos of het strand.

Over: I’ve always had pets at home and now that I’m studying abroad I miss the love that only an animal can give you. Moreover, I have profesional experience with animals due to the past 4 years, which I have been volunteering in a dog shelter. I have a very flexible schedule and will probably be free to take care of your pet! Feel free to ask me for my availability at any time! With dogs, I would prefer to walk them in more quiet places or their usual trail to make them feel comfortable! Over: We can't live without our furry friends! This is 100% true for me. I'm an animal lover with experience in raising dogs (6 years), cats (2 years), and rabbits (3 years), and I also volunteer for a stray animal protection project, where I used to visit the shelter every weekend to take care of stray dogs. I am currently a student, so I have more free time and can arrange my schedule flexibly. If you have specific timing requirements, you can talk with me, and I will try my best to accommodate your needs. Lastly, I must say, I have so much love to give to the little friend! Because I'm studying abroad, I can't be with my dog. I miss him so much and also long to spend time with other adorable friends. I will definitely keep your pet company, talk to them, play with them, cook for them, and of course, take care of them. I’m currently a student and have no lessons anymore, so I’m very flexible and also have lot of free time. I also like taking walks in the forest near my place, that makes your furry friend my best company. I love animals so much; they are the best companions to me and are individuals in their own right. I believe adorable little friend is unique, and I’d respect their personality and preferences when interacting with them. Therefore, I'm very willing to get to know your pet first and then be friend with them in their favorable way. But in general, I’ll ensure they have enough sleep and play time, and give them a lot of attentions.

Over: Taking in a foster dog rekindled my desire to shower dogs with affection and care. Not only will I be attentive to the dogs that I watch, but I will make sure to keep her/his parent up-to-date throughout the day. Lastly, I am accepting bookings from a single person at a time so that I can give my full attention to your dog(s). When I work from home, I normally plan at least 3 breaks throughout the day to walk outside in the Haagse Bos, which I love to do! Timewise, it would be something like: first walk around 7:00, second walk around 12:00, and third walk around 17:00. In the evening there would be an additional walk around 21:00. I enjoy walking dogs through the neighborhood. There are a lot of dog owners I our neighborhood, so social interactions are plenty. If your dog is staying at our place: We have a fully fenced backyard. The gates are approximately 1,90cm high, thus quite impossible to escape 😉

Over: I love animals but due to our long trips we are not able to have our own pet. This allows me and my wife to spend time and take care of animals without leaving them alone when we need to travel. I am normally available on weekends. For week days it depends on workload and business trips. This is something that change on a constant basis. I would like to take care of Pets in my own house. I got a closed garden and also there is a park close by where we can go and play.

You can count on me to be trustworthy and reliable, and to take care of your dog as if my own. As it is a student accomodation, I will leave it to your discretion, however for me- all dogs, all breeds, all sizes are welcome. One dog will be boarded at a time. Vaccinations and neutering are required!  I am Basma, a 27-year-old professional living and working in the Netherlands. I moved to the Netherlands back in 2019 for my master studies at Leiden University, and started working since 2021 upon graduation. My journey from the bustling streets of Shanghai to the serene parks of Den Haag to the charming canals of Amsterdam has been an exciting and amazing adventure. 

 My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my deep love for dogs and my commitment to their well-being, and the fact that I cannot have my own doggy in the near future :-(((((. I genuinely desire to ensure that pets receive the best care and love that they deserve, even when their owners are away for holidays/busy with work. I always try my best to understand and empathize with the anxiety pet owners feel when they have to leave their furry family members behind, and I strive to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for every dog I care for. Luckily my work is super flexible and I can work from home at any time if I want, meaning I can be with dogs 24/7 if needed.

 In addition to the joy of spending time with animals, being a pet sitter allows me to meet wonderful pet owners and become a trusted part of their lives.  Environment & Services
 I live in a quiet and comfortable apartment by myself near Den Haag Centraal Station, nearby which there is a gaint park where I can always see a lot of people walking their dogs. As a bonus, there is also a deer park. I prefer to walk our fluffy friends there in the park, or somewhere nearby if he/she has a 'go-to' place :-)  

Good to know 
- I can go for walks 1-3 times per day (morning & afternoon), at least 30 minutes each time, or longer if needed.  
- For day care & one-night boarding (1 dog only): I will be with the dog the whole day; For multiple-night boarding (1 dog only), I can be with the dog all the time except when I need to do grocery shopping (max. 1 hour). (My job doesn't require me to work from the office, so I can be with the dog as much as needed) 
- Dogs can stay in every corner of my apartment except my bed! 
 - Home visits take approx. 30 mins (can be longer if needed upon consultation), and I'm also willing to water plants :-)
