Over: I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’ve been looking after pets for over 15 years, including my own dog as well as dogs and cats belonging to friends, family, and clients. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies and kittens to senior animals requiring extra patience and attention. Having lived in both Canada and the UK, I’ve cared for a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, and routines. I’ve recently relocated from London and am excited to continue offering reliable, attentive, and loving pet care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I always aim to make animals feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. We can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend, create lots of happy memories together, and make sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for every step of the way! me and my partner work from home so we have plenty of time to keep the dogs company and give them attention,play, and love. We share our home with our friendly male Labrador, who enjoys the company of other dogs. We understand that every dog is different, so introductions are always done slowly and at your dog’s pace. If your dog prefers their own space or needs a little extra time to settle in, we have plenty of room to keep dogs comfortably separated while they adjust. As we both work from home, we’re able to give each dog individual attention, supervision, and care throughout the day, ensuring their routine and comfort always come first. i have a big fenced yard for dogs to run and play or relax, and a safe cozy inside with plenty of space for them, we have loads of toys beds and crates if needed

Over: I have taken care of friends dogs on multiple occasions, with them staying over night. I also enjoy walking a dog for as long as they need. I also have experience with seniour dog care. I currently work 2 times a week from home and have weekends free, so I can keep your pet company full time during those 4 days. I have a protected balcony and access to 3 parks nearby my home, so I am happy to take your pet on a walk for as long as needed. To avoid hurting the dog, I have a preference to carrying them upstairs.

Beanie, our mini Teckel/ Dachshund, loved them from the very first moment and that immediately put us at ease. Whilst we were away they stuck closely to Beanie’s routine, which I'm sure really helped her feel at home. They took her on walks, played with her, and showered her with attention. They even tried to walk her in the rain (despite her strong opinions about that!) — it just showed how committed and thoughtful they were in giving her the best care. We also really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which reassured us that she was happy and in great hands. Beanie looked so comfortable and well-loved the whole time (we absolutely loved getting pictures of her curled up on the sofa with them! Just showed how much she loved them as she doesn't normally do that!). We’re incredibly grateful for the care they gave her and will 100% book them again. Highly recommended!”

‼️Please keep my pet preferences in mind, as I can't take care of large dogs, and I do not speak Dutch‼️ I am currently studying full term, and only have 2 classes a week. Besides this I spend my time at home playing videogames or working on my thesis. I also hang out with friends, but when im taking care of a fur baby, I make sure that their needs are met first or even inviting my friends over to my place for them to get double the care and love☺️ I have taken care of both dogs and cats before, and I make sure to spend time around them and see what they feel comfortable with! With dogs, I would prefer to walk them in more quiet places or their usual trail to make them feel comfortable! And when taking care of pets at home, I make sure windows are always closed and never leave out any food or dangerous items!

Over: I’ve been caring for pets most of my life, starting with my own cats and dogs back home in Aruba. From a young age I learned what it means to be responsible for another life, and I’ve always seen pets as true members of the family. That’s exactly how I treat the animals I care for, with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. Since moving to the Netherlands, I’ve looked after friends’ cats and dogs and discovered how much I enjoy providing this kind of care. Now that I have more free time, I’m excited to continue helping other pet parents by giving their furry friends the same comfort and care I would give my own. My schedule is quite flexible at the moment. I’m mostly free on weekends, and during the week I only have university classes, which gives me plenty of free time for pet care. I usually go to the gym in the mornings, so my afternoons and evenings are open and flexible for walks, playtime, or drop-in visits. This routine allows me to give pets plenty of attention and keep them on a schedule that feels natural and consistent. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always keep my home clean and pet-friendly so they can feel relaxed. I have safe walking areas right outside (both grass and pavement), and a park just 10 minutes away that’s perfect for walks, play, and fresh air.

Over: Hoi, momenteel neem ik voor dit jaar geen vakantie-aanvragen meer aan. Mocht je oppas voor een dagje nodig hebben of een heel korte vakantie, dan mag je me altijd een berichtje sturen! (Ter info: mijn tarief voor opvang met overnachting is altijd 25 euro. Rover.com past dit aan naar 30 als je in het hoofdseizoen boekt, maar dat lossen we samen wel op!) Mijn ervaring: Ik ben opgegroeid met kleine (asiel)hondjes thuis en in 2011 heb ik voor het eerst een maand vrijwilligerswerk gedaan in Spanje bij een hondenasiel. In de jaren daaropvolgend heb ik in verschillende buitenlandse asielen vrijwilligerswerk gedaan (zie foto's). Daar heb ik toen ook mijn eerste hondje geadopteerd toen ze 10 jaar oud was. Ik heb in 2019 een opleiding gedaan over hondengedrag en heb natuurlijk van mijn eigen hondjes ook veel geleerd. Mijn tweede hondje heb ik in 2020 geadopteerd, ook op latere leeftijd. Eind 2024 is zij overleden en sindsdien heb ik besloten om hondenoppas te worden, want ik miste het gezelschap wel! Ik heb dus veel ervaring met (oude) hondjes en heb zelfs nog een hondenbuggy hier thuis staan voor als jouw hondje wel mee wil op lange wandelingen, maar dat niet meer goed kan. Daarnaast werk ik ook als vrijwilliger elke vrijdag bij een hondendagopvang waar de honden in een groep samen zijn, waardoor ik nog meer leer over hondengedrag. Momenteel studeer ik thuis (Besluit Houders van Dieren; honden en katten) en werk ik een dag in de week als kinderoppas (10 en 12 jaar oud). Daar is de hond altijd welkom. Wat belangrijk is om te weten: Ik woon alleen en als de hond voor vakantieopvang naar mij toekomt, moet de hond wel even zonder stress alleen thuis kunnen zijn. Ik wil namelijk wel boodschappen kunnen doen of naar mijn dansles kunnen gaan zonder dat de hond dan thuis in paniek raakt. Honden zijn bij mij welkom in het hele huis, ook op de bank (samen een filmpje kijken is wel zo gezellig!). Ze mogen alleen niet op mijn bed komen, maar als je hondje blijft slapen dan staat er altijd een fijn hondenbed naast mijn bed (of zijn/haar eigen bed). Honden zijn natuurlijk groepsdieren en daar houd ik graag rekening mee. Ik ben het gewend dat ik ze overal mee naartoe neem in de auto en zo min mogelijk alleen laat. Ik vind het juist leuk als de hond overal mee naartoe kan.

Over: I was taking care of all my neighbours dogs in my previous appointment in Amsterdam. In love with them and like to take them out for long walks. (Also run with the dogs that likes it) I’m working remotely all the time and can take care of dogs in my place for day, nights or both. Walking them outside, let them play in my fenced yard or run if they are into that are what I could offer. I can take care of cats in your place as I have minor allergies to some of them and it will become major if I stay with them longer. For dogs, I’m open to keep them at your place or mine. I have no pet by my own but like them more than anything else.

Over: Although I don’t have formal experience as a dog sitter, I’ve always been very comfortable around dogs. Many of my friends’ and neighbors’ dogs naturally connect with me, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them.. whether it’s playing, going for walks, or simply keeping them company. I work full-time, but I offer flexibility when it comes to on-site pet care. I am available on weekends and on weekdays after 16:00. I also took them on daily walks and spent time playing with them so they felt comfortable, happy, and cared for. We will do our best to make sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you are away. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule and do not need to be on campus every day. I usually only go to school for a short period in the afternoons, and during university holidays I have even more availability. My partner works from home, which means there is almost always someone around to keep your dog company and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. We are generally flexible and can accommodate both weekdays and weekends. Over: We can't live without our furry friends! This is 100% true for me. I'm an animal lover with experience in raising dogs (6 years), cats (2 years), and rabbits (3 years), and I also volunteer for a stray animal protection project, where I used to visit the shelter every weekend to take care of stray dogs. I am currently a student, so I have more free time and can arrange my schedule flexibly. If you have specific timing requirements, you can talk with me, and I will try my best to accommodate your needs. Lastly, I must say, I have so much love to give to the little friend! Because I'm studying abroad, I can't be with my dog. I miss him so much and also long to spend time with other adorable friends. I’m currently a student and have no lessons anymore, so I’m very flexible and also have lot of free time. I also like taking walks in the forest near my place, that makes your furry friend my best company. I love animals so much; they are the best companions to me and are individuals in their own right. I believe adorable little friend is unique, and I’d respect their personality and preferences when interacting with them. Therefore, I'm very willing to get to know your pet first and then be friend with them in their favorable way.
