Over: I've lived with dogs most of my life, starting with a German Short-haired Pointer I grew up with, a mini Schnauzer as a teen & student, and most recently another Schnauzer who left us late in 2025. Our living area is open and light, and we have a medium-sized travel crate for any that might be used to using something like that. (My job doesn't require me to work from the office, so I can be with the dog as much as needed) - Dogs can stay in every corner of my apartment except my bed! - Home visits take approx. 30 mins (can be longer if needed upon consultation), and I'm also willing to water plants :-) Language English/Chinese/Korean/Een beetje Nederland Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions! Mijn ervaring: Ik ben opgegroeid met kleine (asiel)hondjes thuis en in 2011 heb ik voor het eerst een maand vrijwilligerswerk gedaan in Spanje bij een hondenasiel. In de jaren daaropvolgend heb ik in verschillende buitenlandse asielen vrijwilligerswerk gedaan (zie foto's). Daar heb ik toen ook mijn eerste hondje geadopteerd toen ze 10 jaar oud was. Ik heb in 2019 een opleiding gedaan over hondengedrag en heb natuurlijk van mijn eigen hondjes ook veel geleerd. Mijn tweede hondje heb ik in 2020 geadopteerd, ook op latere leeftijd. Eind 2024 is zij overleden en sindsdien heb ik besloten om hondenoppas te worden, want ik miste het gezelschap wel! Ik heb dus veel ervaring met (oude) hondjes en heb zelfs nog een hondenbuggy hier thuis staan voor als jouw hondje wel mee wil op lange wandelingen, maar dat niet meer goed kan. Daarnaast werk ik ook als vrijwilliger elke vrijdag bij een hondendagopvang waar de honden in een groep samen zijn, waardoor ik nog meer leer over hondengedrag. Momenteel studeer ik thuis (Besluit Houders van Dieren; honden en katten) en werk ik een dag in de week als kinderoppas (10 en 12 jaar oud). Daar is de hond altijd welkom. Wat belangrijk is om te weten: Ik woon alleen en als de hond voor vakantieopvang naar mij toekomt, moet de hond wel even zonder stress alleen thuis kunnen zijn. Ik wil namelijk wel boodschappen kunnen doen of naar mijn dansles kunnen gaan zonder dat de hond dan thuis in paniek raakt. Honden zijn bij mij welkom in het hele huis, ook op de bank (samen een filmpje kijken is wel zo gezellig!). Ze mogen alleen niet op mijn bed komen, maar als je hondje blijft slapen dan staat er altijd een fijn hondenbed naast mijn bed (of zijn/haar eigen bed). Honden zijn natuurlijk groepsdieren en daar houd ik graag rekening mee. Ik ben het gewend dat ik ze overal mee naartoe neem in de auto en zo min mogelijk alleen laat. Ik vind het juist leuk als de hond overal mee naartoe kan.

Over: I've had dogs since I was 6, always walking them, playing and giving them belly rubs. Since a few years now, I've been loving cats as well. I took care of my neighbours cats every time he went on vacation as well as my friend's cat. I recently adopted one myself! I'm currently working 3-4 days a week so I have the whole weekend plus Monday free to care for your paw friend. I spent my all life with dogs in Japan, Italy, and the Netherlands taking care of my dogs, friends' dogs and neighborhood dogs! I enjoy it so much! I love taking care of pets, cats and dogs of any size, gender and age and taking care of more than one dog is not a problem for me thanks to all the experience I have collected during the last 10 years, abroad and in the Netherlands, with so many different dogs. I am very patient, scrupulous, punctual and careful. The happiness of the pets and the satisfaction of the owners are the absolute priority. I will follow carefully your instructions concerning all aspects of the life of your pet (walking duration, dietary necessities, playing attitude and more). If you live with a cat just let me know what life style he prefers and I will follow your instructions. If you have a dog, I can bring him for walk and play whit him accordingly with his needs. Old dogs need a short walk, other dogs need to run and play longer and more time per day. I will help your dog to maintain his lifestyle the closest as possible to the one she is used with you. My house is a house with a garden with a fence and spacious green areas close by. There is a lot of space to walk in the surrounding area. I live with my husband, my 14 years old daughter and one English bulldog (7 year-old). Over: Pets have always been a big part of my life. Growing up in the Philippines, I was surrounded by various pets: dogs, cats, and rabbits, and my love for them has only grown over the years. Since moving to the Netherlands in 2010, I have been caring for cats and dogs through house-sitting, dog walking, and cat-sitting. What makes my care special is that I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. When your furry friend stays with us, they become part of our family. My husband and I love spending time with pets, whether it’s taking them for lovely walks through the forest, along the nearby dykes, or to the beach for some fun and fresh air. At home, there is plenty of affection — cuddles on the sofa while we watch television are definitely part of the package! Since my husband and I work from home, your pet will have company and attention most of the day. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to adapt to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Depending on their needs and coat, I can also bathe and gently comb them. For me, pet sitting is more than simply looking after them —it’s about giving them companionship, affection, exercise, and a home-away-from-home experience. I would love to welcome your furry family member into our home and give them the same care and love I would want for my own pets. Over: I am originally from Australia and have left my dog behind (with my family!) and miss him very much, so really enjoy meeting new dogs around den haag . I understand that every dog is unique and has their own personality and I love spending time developing a friendship with them. I am comfortable with larger dogs as well as small dogs and am happy to walk on the leash with them. I also love running so if you have an active dog, I'm more than happy to take them on a run (usually 5-6km). Since moving to the NL I have also become a cat lover, after sitting two beautiful Russian blues for seven months. I have fallen in love with cats and just adore spending time with them and being in their aura. I work full time hybrid from the office and from home. I work in a dog friendly office and would be happy to take them in with me! Otherwise, I can also work entirely from home during the odd week if that’s going to be easier. My weekends are spent walking in parks and enjoying the outdoors. Or if I am in the company of a cat, curling up on the sofa and giving them all the cuddles. I am not a big party person so do not go out frequently and don’t have big groups over to my place. You can trust that your pet will be in a calm environment. I live in an apartment with a park close by. I live about ten mins from the beach and love to take dogs there (off leash if they are allowed). Please note I have a steep staircase so if your pet is not good with stairs I am hopefully strong enough to carry them up!
