Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met honden (Golden Retriever en Hollandse Schapendoes) en heb de afgelopen jaren vaker op de hond van vrienden gepast (Golden Retriever x Friese Stabbij). Over: I was taking care of all my neighbours dogs in my previous appointment in Amsterdam. In love with them and like to take them out for long walks. (Also run with the dogs that likes it) I’m working remotely all the time and can take care of dogs in my place for day, nights or both. Walking them outside, let them play in my fenced yard or run if they are into that are what I could offer. I can take care of cats in your place as I have minor allergies to some of them and it will become major if I stay with them longer. For dogs, I’m open to keep them at your place or mine. I prefer to walk our fluffy friends there in the park, or somewhere nearby if he/she has a 'go-to' place :-) Good to know - I can go for walks 1-3 times per day (morning & afternoon), at least 30 minutes each time, or longer if needed. - For day care & one-night boarding (1 dog only): I will be with the dog the whole day; For multiple-night boarding (1 dog only), I can be with the dog all the time except when I need to do grocery shopping (max. 1 hour). Oppassen en uitlaten passen daardoor makkelijk in mijn dagelijkse en wekelijkse routine. Ik stem de tijden af met het baasje en kan mij goed aanpassen als er een keer iets verandert. Wandelingen, speeltijd en rustmomenten plan ik afgestemd op de hond zelf: energieke honden krijgen extra beweging, rustiger honden krijgen meer knuffels en ontspanning. Afspraken die we samen maken, kom ik netjes na. Soms kan het liggen aan mijn rooster van werk of ik wel of niet een uitlaatservice kan uitvoeren op een dag. Voor een oppas boeking zal ik mijn rooster hierop proberen aan te passen en als dat niet lukt voor en na mijn shift sowiezo hem/haar uit te laten en extra aandacht geven. Dit zal ik met het baasje duidelijk vantevoren aangeven als ik tijdens de boeking zou moeten werken, en bespreken we of het mogelijk is om de viervoeter voor een bepaalde tijd even alleen te zijn. Als dit niet kan beinvloed dit soms mogelijk mijn goedkeuring tot deze boeking. Waar het kan wil ik altijd het liefst heerlijk zijn met uw viervoeter, dat is zekker🐕❤️ Voor mij staan veiligheid en vertrouwen altijd voorop. Ik zorg dat huisdieren rustig kunnen wennen aan mij en ik let goed op hun lichaamstaal en behoeften. Tijdens het oppassen volg ik de routines van het baasje, zoals vaste uitlaattijden, voeding en eventuele medicatie of afspraken rondom gedrag. Oppassen doe ik op dit moment alleen bij het baasje thuis. Dat voelt voor veel honden ook het meest vertrouwd, omdat ze in hun eigen omgeving blijven met hun eigen geurtjes en routine. Wanneer ik later samen met mijn vriend een eigen plekje heb, wil ik in de toekomst ook graag thuis opvang aanbieden, maar voor nu is dit niet mogelijk. Dit betekent ook dat huisdieren die mogelijk meer aandacht nodig hebben bij mij aan het juiste adres zijn. Mijn woning heeft enkel een balkon (dat ook veilig is voor huisdieren zoals katten), maar is wel gelegen naast een mooi groot park waar ik graag tijd doorbreng. Ik heb genoeg ruimte in mijn huis voor grote en kleine dieren, en aparte ruimtes voor dieren die gehecht zijn aan hun privacy.

She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

Over: Hoi! Ik ben Mireille en ik heb jarenlang mijn leven gedeeld met Bello, mijn Golden Retriever en beste vriend. Ik heb hem destijds geadopteerd uit het asiel en tot het einde met veel liefde mogen verzorgen. Sinds Bello er niet meer is, mis ik het hebben van een hond om me heen enorm. Vooral Golden Retrievers hebben een speciaal plekje in mijn hart. Hun zachte karakter, vrolijke hoofd en gekkigheid… het maakt me blij. Daarom bied ik me graag aan als wandelmaatje of als oppas bij mij thuis voor jouw Golden Retriever. Ik heb ervaring met puber en senior honden, medicatie, snuffelwandelingen, honden met een rugzakje en het aanpassen aan wat een hond op dat moment nodig heeft. Ik woon in een appartementencomplex (met lift), met een grote achtertuin voor een gezellige speelsessie en een tuin aan de voorkant waar lekker gewandeld kan worden. Verder zijn er diverse parken in de buurt. Korte wandelingen, langere snuffelroutes, lekker spelen met de bal of een logeerpartijtje, ik kijk graag samen wat past bij jou(w hond). Ik werk deels vanuit huis en ben flexibel in overleg. Bij mij krijgt je hond aandacht, liefde, rust en wandelingen op zijn of haar tempo. Ik werk hybride en fulltime, deels kantoor en thuis. Ik ben beschikbaar voor opvang gedurende dag of logeerpartijtjes met name in het weekend. In overleg is er veel mogelijk en ik denk graag mee waar nodig. Ik woon in een appartementencomplex met aangrenzend een grote achtertuin voor een tussendoortje speelsessie. Voor wandelingen kunnen we voor het appartement terecht en bij diverse parkjes in de buurt!

“Ivan was communicative and easy to arrange an initial meeting with. His apartment is clean, spacious and super cat friendly. Leo (my cat) was intended to stay Ivan for 7 days, I then had to extend my trip unexpectedly - Ivan was super understanding, flexible and accommodating. Leo was on antibiotics for a few days in Ivan's care, and Ivan made sure that he finished his medication. I received daily updates on Leo's well-being and when I returned, Leo was healthy and well looked-after. I would definitely book Ivan (and his sister) again when I go on another trip!”

Over: Hello and nice to meet you 😊 both me and my husband owned dogs in the past: we both had Rhodesian ridgebacks and an English Bulldog. We love dogs and we would love to get our kids to grow up more around animals and dogs. Our girls are aged 5, 7 and 8 so we’d love to host a dog who gets along with children :) Me and my husband are working from home on some days so we can be flexible! We are home most nights as we have kids, so overnight stay is not a problem. We have a small fenced garden, and enough room in the living area for a dog to chill. We will make sure the fur baby is comfortable!
