“Very nice couple. A little far out of the way from Delft, but not a bad thing as long as it’s not raining and the trains are running! My dog had a great time with them. She almost didn’t want to leave! They followed my instructions well, and sent lots of pictures and videos throughout the weekend. Over: Ik ben een grote dierenvriend en al jarenlang dé betrouwbare dierenoppas voor vrienden en familie. ik pas me makkelijk aan, afhankelijk van de wensen van uw hond/ kat. Is het een oudje? Dan kan ik lekker kroelen op de bank. Is de hond nog speels? Dan vind ik het heerlijk om een lange wandeling te maken en een balletje te gooien. Omdat ik ook graag reis en nog niet weet wat mijn plannen voor de komende jaren zijn, vind ik het niet verstandig om zelf een huisdier te nemen. Vandaar dat oppassen voor mij nu de beste optie is. Ik werk op het moment part time en donderdag is mijn vaste vrije dag. Dit zou de ideale dag zijn om op te passen. Het weekend is ook mogelijk, mits ik het op tijd weet en nog geen andere plannen heb. Ik woon zelf in een appartement met een balkon op de 3e verdieping. Er is geen lift en hiervoor moet je 6 trappen op. Voor de rest zou ik tijdens een oppasdag ervoor zorgen dat ik de hele dag beschikbaar ben en zoveel mogelijk tijd kan doorbrengen met de hond/ kat.

My partner works from home, which means there is almost always someone around to keep your dog company and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day. We are generally flexible and can accommodate both weekdays and weekends. We have a small, fenced garden where dogs can safely enjoy some fresh air and outdoor time under supervision. Our neighborhood is also surrounded by nature, with plenty of pleasant walking routes nearby, making it easy to provide regular walks and enrichment. My partner has previous experience raising and training dogs, so we understand the importance of consistency, patience, and paying attention to each dog's individual needs and personality. We also have a good understanding of basic pet safety, including foods that dogs should avoid and general precautions to keep them healthy and safe. If your dog has any special dietary requirements, feeding routines, or other specific instructions, we will carefully follow them to make sure your pet receives the care they are used to at home. Our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where your dog can relax and feel like part of the family.

“Gabriella is amazingly good with dogs. Barney had a bit of difficulty adjusting to new sitter and place. But, Gabriella was super understanding and extremely patient. She also improved some of his pulling behavior. Regular updates and pictures kept us assured and also entertained. He came back home clean, groomed, happy and healthy. Definitely recommend and I am sure Barney would love to visit Gabriella and Phoebe again.”

Since moving to the Netherlands in 2010, I have been caring for cats and dogs through house-sitting, dog walking, and cat-sitting. What makes my care special is that I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. When your furry friend stays with us, they become part of our family. My husband and I love spending time with pets, whether it’s taking them for lovely walks through the forest, along the nearby dykes, or to the beach for some fun and fresh air. At home, there is plenty of affection — cuddles on the sofa while we watch television are definitely part of the package! Since my husband and I work from home, your pet will have company and attention most of the day. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to adapt to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Depending on their needs and coat, I can also bathe and gently comb them. For me, pet sitting is more than simply looking after them —it’s about giving them companionship, affection, exercise, and a home-away-from-home experience. Over: Hello and nice to meet you 😊 both me and my husband owned dogs in the past: we both had Rhodesian ridgebacks and an English Bulldog. We love dogs and we would love to get our kids to grow up more around animals and dogs. Our girls are aged 5, 7 and 8 so we’d love to host a dog who gets along with children :) Me and my husband are working from home on some days so we can be flexible! We are home most nights as we have kids, so overnight stay is not a problem. We have a small fenced garden, and enough room in the living area for a dog to chill. We will make sure the fur baby is comfortable!
