Hi, I’m Megan! I moved to the Netherlands from the U.S. August 2024 and recently relocated from Amsterdam to Leiden in January. I grew up with dachshunds and have always had a soft spot for the breed, but I truly love all animals. My parents have a Chiweenie named Cooper who’s almost 8, and my fiancé’s dog, Rudy, lives in Ireland—so I’m very used to sharing my time, attention, and couch with pets. I live near the botanical gardens, so whether your dog needs a long walk, some playtime, or just a relaxing hangout, I’ve got it covered. I try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, and I always do my best to match your pet’s routine and personality so they feel comfortable and cared for. We just got married in late July, so if I’m not available for a period of time, I hope you’ll keep me in mind for the future! Happy to answer any questions or set up a meet-and-greet! 🐾

My husband and I were nervous about leaving our dog, Zeus, with someone new, but Meghan completely put our mind at ease from the moment we met her. Communication was 10/10 and we received regular updates and photos throughout the stay. We were so relieved to see that Zeus looked happy and at home in every single picture. Meghan is a warm, caring, and attentive dog sitter and I highly recommend!
Dit was de eerste keer dat Mosy naar een oppas ging, dus we vonden het best spannend. Maar Megan is superlief en je merkt meteen dat ze echt gek is op dieren. Ze stuurde veel updates en foto’s, waardoor we goed konden zien dat Mosy het naar haar zin had. We zijn ontzettend blij met Megan en zullen haar zeker vaker vragen om op Mosy te passen! 🤍
I am so happy I found Megan! The communication before and during the stay was very good. I could see that our dog was really comfortable on all the photos. Megan wants only one dog each time which means for me that she takes it serious and gives all the atención and care to our dog.
We feel absolutely at ease knowing Emilio is in the safest of hands with Megan. He treats her home likes his own!
I’ve had a great experience with Megan walking my dog Tony. She is very considerate and communicative. She took the time to meet Tony beforehand and asked questions about his personality and needs. During her walk with Tony she kept me updated and afterwards she sent a report with lots of beautiful photos. Will definitely ask her to take care of Tony more often.
Megan’s taken great care of our two dogs! Highly recommend.

I care for your pet just as their parents (you) would! However I am instructed is how things will be done. I do this to keep the environment as stable as I can for the pet(s).
A typical day
I love long (or short) walks! I typically go along with what the pet is use to in their everyday life. Whether they are big cuddlers or could walk for hours on end, I’m happy to oblige.
