Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-toller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have basic knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

Over: Ik heb zelf 3 honden gehad. Ik pas ook soms op de dieren van familie. Ik houd van dieren en zorg graag voor ze. Ik ben betrouwbaar, geduldig en geef huisdieren de aandacht en zorg die ze nodig hebben. Momenteel werk ik fulltime, maar na mijn werk heb ik genoeg tijd om met je hond/kat te spelen en hem of haar de aandacht te geven die hij of zij verdient. Op werkdagen ben ik beschikbaar na 17.30 uur, op vrijdag en in het weekend de hele dag. Eind augustus begin ik met school, waardoor ik nog meer beschikbaar ben. Rondom mijn appartement zijn veel fijne wandelplekken, waardoor ik gemakkelijk en vaak met je hond kan wandelen. Over: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10. It started from just a fun spending with my neighbours puppies and grew into a passion over time and visiting clients in different cities of Lithuania. To this day have taken care on not only cats and dogs of different ages and sizes, but reptiles, birds and even the tiniest of the fur team! By this moment, I have learned the mastery of discipline, language of pets, I can see when they are stressed, happy or even craving for attention. Over: Ik heb mijn hondje als een maand oude puppy in het bos gevonden en sindsdien zijn we samen. Ze is mijn eerste eigen hond, maar ik krijg regelmatig complimenten over hoe goed ze is opgevoed. Ik heb een jaar de tijd gekomen om haar op te voeden en te trainen, daarna ben ik enkele jaren met haar gaan backpacken. Hierdoor ben ik het gewend om altijd controle over mijn hond te hebben, ongeacht wat voor situatie we in zijn. Ook heb ik regelmatig contact met andere honden of pas ik op andere honden/dieren van vrienden en familie, en heb ik op verschillende boerderijen gewerkt. Ik ben echt een dieren mens en over het algemeen zijn dieren snel en makkelijk met mij in omgang. Momenteel ben ik vrij van verplichtingen en heb ik dus veel tijd en ben ik flexibel qua planning. Ik geef de voorkeur aan langere termijn housesitting. I will take my time to get to know your dog, and to introduce him/her to Kiwi. If necessary this can be done on neutral terrain or a walk. My own dog gets food twice per day, she is okay with other dogs but if necessary they can be kept apart while eating. Normally I walk her one to three times a day, depends on the weather, time, etc. For your dog I will follow the instructions you provide and take care that the dogs will be social to each other, or at best tolerate and respect each other.

Over: Although I don’t have formal experience as a dog sitter, I’ve always been very comfortable around dogs. Many of my friends’ and neighbors’ dogs naturally connect with me, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them.. whether it’s playing, going for walks, or simply keeping them company. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport over 10 miles away, a fee of $1/mile (for example: if required to drive 40 miles roundtrip, the fee will be $20) will be applied to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it would take to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet (for boarding clients, mileage will be calculated based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s home). This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. If the pet sitter’s vehicle is damaged by your pet or requires professional cleaning, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for repairs and cleaning fees by the pet owner. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner. I’m a small business owner and work from home, taking care of my own 10 year old female Siberian Husky named Luna, and can easily accommodate some other furry friends! I have a fenced in secured back yard with multiple spotlights and security cameras, alarm system in my home which is set any time I’m away from home without my dog, and at night regardless. We have a clean 2 story home with 2k square feet of interior space and a large fenced in private back yard with a (6.5ft fence). My wife also works from home and is a highly experienced Rover sitter herself, and we treat all pups like our own!

Over: (je parle aussi français, italiano, español kaj esperanto). I always loved dogs. I used to have one in my family growing up. Lately I've been dog sitting for friends when on holidays and here on rover, and I'm really loving it (and the dogs are loving it too😇!). I am very flexible time wise. I can walk your dog up to 4 times a day, and spend plentiful of time playing with them. I like to schedule a video chat or in person meeting before taking care of a new dog to know all the practicalities and see if we are a good fit. I like playing a lot with dogs and making sure they are feeling happy and at home. I have a fenced courtyard and parks (e.g. het park) to walk them close by. I walk on leash. I have another dog (samoyed, male, you can see in the profile) that gets along with other dogs. So we can make them meet before to make sure they get along.
