Voor katten die minder gewend zijn aan honden kan ik gemakkelijk aparte ruimtes creëren, zodat iedereen zich veilig en comfortabel voelt. Ik ben in principe altijd thuis en zorg ervoor dat het verblijf van uw huisdier zo aangenaam en stressvrij mogelijk is, met veel aandacht, liefde en persoonlijke zorg.

Over: Ik ben een echte hondenliefhebber met veel ervaring met verschillende rassen en karakters. Zelf heb ik Maxi gehad, een Golden Retriever uit het asiel. Maxi had een flink rugzakje, was bang voor vreemde mensen en kon uit angst weleens bijten. Dit heeft bloed, zweet en tranen gekost, maar met heel veel geduld, liefde en duidelijke grenzen heeft hij geleerd ons te vertrouwen. Hij woont inmiddels op een plek met meer ruimte (bij mijn vriend), maar door hem weet ik precies hoe ik een hond met angst of een handleiding moet lezen en begeleiden. Daarnaast ben ik opgegroeid met Shih Tzu's bij mijn vader. De eerste heb ik van puppy af aan zelf opgevoed, waardoor ik weet wat er bij socialisatie en training komt kijken. Mijn vaders huidige Shih Tzu is ook erg eenkennig en houdt niet van vreemden, maar is dol op mij. Ik pas nog regelmatig met veel plezier op haar. Door deze ervaring ben ik niet snel onder de indruk van een hond die wat extra tijd nodig heeft om te wennen. Kleine hondjes (zoals Shih Tzu's of Teckels) of fitte, middelgrote honden die wat verlegen of eenkennig zijn, zijn bij mij in Tanthof in goede handen. Hoewel ik zelf op dit moment nog geen eigen hond heb, mis ik de wandelingen, knuffelmomenten en gezelligheid die een hond met zich meebrengt. Daarom heb ik een profiel op Rover aangemaakt. Zo kan ik iets doen waar ik ontzettend blij van word én tegelijkertijd andere hondeneigenaren helpen met een betrouwbare en liefdevolle oppas of wandelmaatje voor hun hond. Omdat ik fulltime als applicatiebeheerder werk en veel vanuit huis (in Delft) werk, kan ik mijn tijd flexibel indelen. De verzorging van jouw hond past dan ook perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine. Voor mijn werkdag start, maak ik een lekkere ochtendwandeling. Tijdens mijn werkdag ligt de hond rustig en tevreden naast mijn bureau te slapen. Rond het middaguur (tijdens mijn lunchpauze) is er tijd voor een frisse neus en een plaspauze. Na mijn werkdag neem ik de hond mee voor een uitgebreide wandeling. Let op mijn kantoordagen: Op maandag werk ik standaard op kantoor en is de opvang gesloten. Daarnaast werk ik soms nog één flexibele extra dag per week op kantoor. Mijn Rover-kalender houd ik wekelijks nauwkeurig bij, zodat je altijd precies kunt zien welke dagen ik thuiswerk! De verzorging stem ik volledig af op de service die je boekt. Komt jouw hond bij mij logeren of voor dagopvang? Dan verblijft hij in een rustige, huiselijke omgeving in mijn appartement in Tanthof. Tijdens mijn werkuren als applicatiebeheerder is er veel rust in huis en kan de hond lekker ontspannen of slapen naast mijn bureau. We wandelen meerdere keren per dag in de omgeving of het Abtswoudsepark. Breek je liever de dag van jouw hond vanuit je eigen huis? Ik bied ook een hondenuitlaatservice aan! Ik kom de hond dan bij jou thuis ophalen voor een flinke wandeling in de buurt en breng hem daarna weer voldaan thuis. Let op: Ik pas dus alleen op bij mij thuis of laat de hond uit vanaf jouw adres. Langdurig oppassen in het huis van het baasje zelf (house sitting) bied ik niet aan.

Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-toller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have basic knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

Over: Sinds ik met mijn in ouders in ons huis in Kwintsheul woon, komen er regelmatig honden bij ons logeren. Vrienden, buren en familie gingen op vakantie en vertrouwde ons hun hondjes voor langere tijd toe. Wij hebben een grote tuin, waar onze eigen honden de hele dag in rond dwarrelen. Een grote bruine labrador van negen jaar (die kregen we toen we hier kwamen wonen) en een mini labradoodle van drie jaar, die we kregen om de energie weer wat op te preppen. Ik spendeer mijn tijd graag buiten en onze honden worden dan ook twee keer per dag in het bos of op het strand uitgelaten. We gaan dan altijd met de auto naar een andere plek, we hebben veel keuze hier in de buurt. Komt uw hond met die van ons spelen zodat die ook een vakantiegevoel krijgt, tijdens uw tijd weg? Momenteel ligt mijn studie even stil. Ik woon met mijn ouders en met z'n drieën dragen wij de zorg van de honden. Rond 08:00 uur de eerste uitlaatronde naar het bos/strand. Dan de gehele dag lekker in de tuin terwijl er veel hondjes langslopen, of binnen als het slecht weer is. Ik speel vaak met mijn hondjes, doe trucjes of geef ze lekkere knabbels. Dan rond 17:00 gaan ze voor de tweede ronde naar een ander bos/strand. We hebben veel mogelijkheden hier in de buurt. Dan s'avonds lekker knuffelen op de bank en voordat we naar bed gaan nog een klein rondje lopen rond de laan. We hebben een grote tuin rondom ons huis waar onze honden los kunnen lopen. De tuin is namelijk helemaal omheind. Daarnaast hebben we een overdekte corridor met hondenmanden en drink- en eetbakken. Ook staat de deur naar onze veranda vaak open mocht het slecht weer zijn. Verder liggen in onze woonkamer ook hondenmanden en is er genoeg ruimte voor eventueel een bench.

Over: We have had dogs for the past 5 years. We go everyday for walks in the fields where they can happily dog around. We also do daily training exercises at home to keep challenging them mentally. And cuddles, loads of cuddles! One of us works fully from home and the other one does 65% home office. Weekends are chill with extra long walks, either close to home or we take the cargo bike to explore places with our pawed friends. The garden is fully enclosed and there is always one of us at home. We live near the fields and many off-leash areas where dogs can happily play and occasionally meet a friend.

Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-toller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have basic knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.

If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport over 10 miles away, a fee of $1/mile (for example: if required to drive 40 miles roundtrip, the fee will be $20) will be applied to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it would take to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet (for boarding clients, mileage will be calculated based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s home). The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. If the pet sitter’s vehicle is damaged by your pet or requires professional cleaning, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for repairs and cleaning fees by the pet owner. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner. I’m a small business owner and work from home, taking care of my own 10 year old female Siberian Husky named Luna, and can easily accommodate some other furry friends! I have a fenced in secured back yard with multiple spotlights and security cameras, alarm system in my home which is set any time I’m away from home without my dog, and at night regardless. We have a clean 2 story home with 2k square feet of interior space and a large fenced in private back yard with a (6.5ft fence). My wife also works from home and is a highly experienced Rover sitter herself, and we treat all pups like our own!

Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

Later heb ik zelf ook honden en katten gehad, waardoor mijn liefde en ervaring met dieren alleen maar zijn gegroeid. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, whether it's playing, running, or simply being active together. Watching them happy and well-cared for brings me both energy and fulfillment! Over: (je parle aussi français, italiano, español kaj esperanto). I always loved dogs. I used to have one in my family growing up. Lately I've been dog sitting for friends when on holidays and here on rover, and I'm really loving it (and the dogs are loving it too😇!). I am very flexible time wise. I can walk your dog up to 4 times a day, and spend plentiful of time playing with them. I like to schedule a video chat or in person meeting before taking care of a new dog to know all the practicalities and see if we are a good fit. I like playing a lot with dogs and making sure they are feeling happy and at home. I have a fenced courtyard and parks (e.g. het park) to walk them close by. I walk on leash. I have another dog (samoyed, male, you can see in the profile) that gets along with other dogs. So we can make them meet before to make sure they get along.

Over: Wij hebben zelf 2 katten. Jarenlang ook een hond gehad. En vinden het leuk om af en toe voor een hondje te zorgen en daarmee anderen te helpen Vooral in de weekenden beschikbaar. Mijn zoon van 12 wil hier ook graag bij helpen. Wij wonen in een flat vlakbij een natuurgebied waar wij lekker kunnen wandelen Wij hebben een maisonnette woning in een flat met een balkon. Onze katten kunnen boven blijven wanneer er honden zijn. We houden van knuffelen en spelen met de hond.

Ik ben flexibel en pas mijn zorg volledig aan aan de behoeften van uw hond of kat. Zo beschik ik over een bench voor honden, meerdere kamers die kunnen dienen als rustige plekken, en een beschutte tuin waar dieren veilig kunnen spelen en ontspannen. De omgeving hier is ook heel toegankelijk en fijn voor honden. Leuke wandelgebieden. Mijn eigen Border Collie is sociaal en kan goed grenzen aanvoelen, wat zorgt voor een harmonieuze omgeving. Voor katten die minder gewend zijn aan honden kan ik gemakkelijk aparte ruimtes creëren, zodat iedereen zich veilig en comfortabel voelt. Ik ben in principe altijd thuis en zorg ervoor dat het verblijf van uw huisdier zo aangenaam en stressvrij mogelijk is, met veel aandacht, liefde en persoonlijke zorg.

Over: I've taken care of my female boxer when I was 11 and now, 20 years later, my best friend is my golden-toller retriever Chef Cappuccino. I cook his food, all his snacks are 100% meat, and I am training him with the STSK9 method. I am highly aware of body language, have basic knowledge of neuroscience of dogs' brain, provide somatic exercises after walks to relieve stress, and do fitness exercises to take care of the muscles and bones. I am working fully remote, so the dogs will always have someone with them. I live nearby open fields - perfect for getting away from the stressful urban environment. I provide both mental and physical fulfilment - walk my own dog 3-4 times a day (min 30' each), play different games, training (fitness and obedience). I clean their paws and do a general wiping after every walk to avoid infections. I have a fenced garden and a house big enough for each dog to have its room (if needed). A crate is also available either for training or chilling. Bed, towels, toys are also available.
Over: Sinds ik met mijn in ouders in ons huis in Kwintsheul woon, komen er regelmatig honden bij ons logeren. Vrienden, buren en familie gingen op vakantie en vertrouwde ons hun hondjes voor langere tijd toe. Wij hebben een grote tuin, waar onze eigen honden de hele dag in rond dwarrelen. Een grote bruine labrador van negen jaar (die kregen we toen we hier kwamen wonen) en een mini labradoodle van drie jaar, die we kregen om de energie weer wat op te preppen. Ik spendeer mijn tijd graag buiten en onze honden worden dan ook twee keer per dag in het bos of op het strand uitgelaten. We gaan dan altijd met de auto naar een andere plek, we hebben veel keuze hier in de buurt. Komt uw hond met die van ons spelen zodat die ook een vakantiegevoel krijgt, tijdens uw tijd weg? Momenteel ligt mijn studie even stil. Ik woon met mijn ouders en met z'n drieën dragen wij de zorg van de honden. Rond 08:00 uur de eerste uitlaatronde naar het bos/strand. Dan de gehele dag lekker in de tuin terwijl er veel hondjes langslopen, of binnen als het slecht weer is. Ik speel vaak met mijn hondjes, doe trucjes of geef ze lekkere knabbels. Dan rond 17:00 gaan ze voor de tweede ronde naar een ander bos/strand. We hebben veel mogelijkheden hier in de buurt. Dan s'avonds lekker knuffelen op de bank en voordat we naar bed gaan nog een klein rondje lopen rond de laan. We hebben een grote tuin rondom ons huis waar onze honden los kunnen lopen. De tuin is namelijk helemaal omheind. Daarnaast hebben we een overdekte corridor met hondenmanden en drink- en eetbakken. Ook staat de deur naar onze veranda vaak open mocht het slecht weer zijn. Verder liggen in onze woonkamer ook hondenmanden en is er genoeg ruimte voor eventueel een bench.
