Over: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10. It started from just a fun spending with my neighbours puppies and grew into a passion over time and visiting clients in different cities of Lithuania. To this day have taken care on not only cats and dogs of different ages and sizes, but reptiles, birds and even the tiniest of the fur team! By this moment, I have learned the mastery of discipline, language of pets, I can see when they are stressed, happy or even craving for attention. I have learned how to communicate with them in a language that they understand and I have a lot of creative ideas how to make their time more special while you are away, so they wouldn’t feel sad. Even though I am 26 years old, I still want to continue this passion as they keep me motivated to go for my dreams and goals. And most importantly through hard days.. I would be really looking forward to meet your lovely buddy and spend some quality time together! I’m currently working remotely, as a content creator, so I can invest full-time in your pups. I am available every day, every weekend, at your preferred time! Don’t worry all the stays will stay strictly confidential. Your pets will be supervised 24/7 and as well you will be updated on the situation too with messages, videos and pictures. I stay in a calm area in Amsterdam East!

Over: Although I don’t have formal experience as a dog sitter, I’ve always been very comfortable around dogs. Many of my friends’ and neighbors’ dogs naturally connect with me, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them.. whether it’s playing, going for walks, or simply keeping them company. I work full-time, but I offer flexibility when it comes to on-site pet care. I am available on weekends and on weekdays after 16:00. I’m happy to coordinate with pet owners to find a schedule that works best for both sides. I live in a small, quiet, and well-kept flat that offers a calm and safe environment for pets. I always ensure the space is clean, secure, and free of hazards, so animals can feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.

Over: Ik heb mijn hondje als een maand oude puppy in het bos gevonden en sindsdien zijn we samen. Ze is mijn eerste eigen hond, maar ik krijg regelmatig complimenten over hoe goed ze is opgevoed. Ik heb een jaar de tijd gekomen om haar op te voeden en te trainen, daarna ben ik enkele jaren met haar gaan backpacken. Hierdoor ben ik het gewend om altijd controle over mijn hond te hebben, ongeacht wat voor situatie we in zijn. Ook heb ik regelmatig contact met andere honden of pas ik op andere honden/dieren van vrienden en familie, en heb ik op verschillende boerderijen gewerkt. Ik ben echt een dieren mens en over het algemeen zijn dieren snel en makkelijk met mij in omgang. Momenteel ben ik vrij van verplichtingen en heb ik dus veel tijd en ben ik flexibel qua planning. Ik geef de voorkeur aan langere termijn housesitting. I will take my time to get to know your dog, and to introduce him/her to Kiwi. If necessary this can be done on neutral terrain or a walk. My own dog gets food twice per day, she is okay with other dogs but if necessary they can be kept apart while eating. Normally I walk her one to three times a day, depends on the weather, time, etc. For your dog I will follow the instructions you provide and take care that the dogs will be social to each other, or at best tolerate and respect each other.

Over: Van jongs af aan ben ik opgegroeid met honden en katten en heb ik altijd voor hen gezorgd. Later heb ik zelf ook honden en katten gehad, waardoor mijn liefde en ervaring met dieren alleen maar zijn gegroeid. Ik geniet enorm van het tijd doorbrengen met dieren, of dat nu betekent samen spelen, rennen of gewoon actief bezig zijn. Het geeft me energie en voldoening om hen gelukkig en verzorgd te zien! Growing up surrounded by dogs and cats, I’ve always had a deep love for animals and cared for them. Later, having dogs and cats of my own further strengthened my bond with them. I truly enjoy spending time with animals, whether it's playing, running, or simply being active together. Watching them happy and well-cared for brings me both energy and fulfillment! Omdat ik veel vanuit huis werk, ben ik flexibel en heb ik tijd om met honden op pad te gaan. Het verzorgen van huisdieren past perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine. Ik geniet ervan om samen de natuur in te trekken – het bos en het strand zijn mijn favoriete plekken om te wandelen, rennen en spelen met honden. Daarnaast maak ik graag tijd vrij om hun behoeften te leren kennen, zoals voeding, aandacht of zelfs het aanleren van nieuwe commando’s. Zo zorg ik ervoor dat ze niet alleen gelukkig, maar ook gezond blijven! Ik zorg ervoor dat jouw huisdier zich veilig, geliefd en gelukkig voelt, met persoonlijke aandacht, wandelingen op maat en veel knuffels. Over: Hi! I'm Jess and I am a dog mom to 12-year-old Siberian Husky, Luna. She is a sweet, energetic, confident dog who loves all kinds of people and other dogs. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. Even before becoming a Rover sitter, I cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs on many occasions including a beagle, a husky and a golden retriever and grew up with shih tzu and a cockapoo, who I loved to play with and walk around the neighborhood. Before moving to The Netherlands, we most recently lived in Richmond, Virginia and enjoyed walking the many urban hiking trails and parks together. Since I started pet sitting through Rover, I have stayed with and looked after all of different kinds of pups including senior pups, puppies, and all different sizes of dogs from toy to large. I’ve also cared for other caged pets in the same home like rabbits when needed. I care for them all like they are my very own Luna girl. My husband is also a Rover sitter and will sometimes accompany me. David has always been a dog lover and loves to give my clients some extra attention while you’re away. He is also a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran and as such is very good under pressure/does not hesitate to act when dealing with anything out of the ordinary like illness or injury. My clients and I are very lucky to have him by my side when he does come along during bookings. About My Services: I am confident with standard commands in English and am learning some in Dutch as well. I also speak French and am happy to learn and practice commands in any language that suits your pet. All of my services are customizable to your pets needs, but below is a list of what is typically included in my Standard Rate with and without overnight stay, as well as my Constant Care Rate, which I have limited availability to accept, but will consider if I am available and your pet’s needs require it. Standard Rate w/overnight stay: -potty breaks every 4-6 hours during awake hours, depending on your pet’s needs (can accommodate 3-4 hours for young puppies*) -feeding & medication 1-3x per day -1 30-60 min walks/playtimes time per day (can be split into 2 15-30 min walks/playtimes) -2-3 updates per day -overnight stay -2-4 hours/day of time spent at home during awake hours for your pet’s comfort, mental stimulation, or play time during the day Standard rate - no overnight stay: -potty breaks every 4-6 hours during awake hours, depending on your pet’s needs (can accommodate 3-4 hours for young puppies*) -feeding and medication 1-3x per day -1 30-60 min walks/playtimes time per day (can be split into 2 15-30 min walks/playtimes) -2-3 updates per day -no overnight stay -4-8 hours/day of time spent at home during awake hours for your pet’s comfort, mental stimulation, play time or other particular needs during the day Constant Care Rate (2x Standard Rate): -frequent potty breaks (less than 4 hours between) during awake hours -feeding & medication as needed (typically 2-3x a day) -1 30-60 min walks per day (can be split into 2 15-30 min walks) -2-3 updates per day -overnight stay -8-10 hours/day of time spent at home during awake hours for your pet’s comfort, mental stimulation, play time or other particular needs during the day -2-4 hours of time away for pet sitter per day (can be split up into 1-2 hour intervals) *All dogs are different and I will rely on your recommendation for your pets, but as a rule of thumb a puppy can typically hold its bladder for the number of hours equal to its age in months plus one Depending on distance from my location and time commitment required to travel to your location, additional travel fees may be applied to your booking. Charges will be communicated up front before confirming the booking. I work remotely and part-time and have plenty of flexibility to accommodate your pet’s unique routine and needs during the week or on the weekend. <~~>~~<~~>~~<~~>~~<~~> Pet and Pet Sitter Safety: I have stayed with dogs who have easy access to a fenced outdoor space and with those who do not, so I am comfortable with ensuring leashes and/or gates are always secure. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.
