Over: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats. I grew up with dogs and understand them. Cared for difficult, senior, disabled, hyperactive dogs and puppies. I am a distance runner and also run with dogs. Over: I’m a student currently living in Leiden and a lifelong animal lover. I’m very familiar with medium and large-sized dogs, as I often help my friends and neighbors walk and take care of their dogs and I used to have a Border Collie–German Shepherd mix when I was a kid (sadly she’s already in heaven now). As a young person with passion and energy, I’m comfortable engaging dogs in active play such as fetch, frisbee, and tug-of-war to help them burn off energy in a healthy and enjoyable way, instead of just a normal “walk”. I’m currently a student so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. As a well-organized person, I always use my todo list to plan everything, including my pet care schedule. At a client’s home, I would follow their instructions carefully and prioritize the pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. I would make sure the pet has fresh water, appropriate food if required, and a clean environment. I would also spend time interacting with the pet based on its personality and needs, whether that means active play, gentle companionship, or simply keeping them calm and company. During walks, I would ensure the dog is always safely leashed and avoid risky situations with other animals or traffic. I would also pay attention to any signs of stress or discomfort and adjust my behavior accordingly.

Over: I grew up and lived my entire life surrounded by animals, mainly cats and some dogs. I also have had the commitment of taken care of my friend animals (in special dogs), during their holidays. I couldn’t host their because I live with three cats, and I’m not encouraged to take care of bigger dogs because I’m small 😅 I’m working part time so it’s helpful not only for extra money, also for extra activities. I have one year and a half living here, so any kind of activities would help to understand better my new place in the world. I’m not be able to sitting at home because I’m currently live with three cats. So will be enough for them to feel other smells in my clothes after to take care of other pets hahaha
