Like many cat families, we have the full spectrum of personalities: a fluffy cuddle-lover and a more gothic, distant–yet-affectionate soul. What has always amazed me about cats is the way they teach us to see companionship differently. Being together while each doing our own thing feels like the purest form of company. Their smallest moments of joy or excitement genuinely make my day. Over: My whole life I have lived with pets, even with owning several at the same time, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs and others, all with different temperaments.
