Over: I’ve been taking care of my friends’ pets (both dogs and cats) since I moved to the Netherlands 8 years ago. Taking them for walks, feeding, playing and house sitting making sure they don’t get lonely (or naughty). Besides, not being able to have a pet of my own at the moment, I have loots of love to give to all the good girls and boys out there 🤗 I’m working from home/ remotely most of the week, therefore I’m quite flexible with my schedule and also with my location. I can plan my day ahead to make sure I provide the needed care for your pet. Special care or environment can be discussed individually. For client’s home sitting/ drop in visits I like to discuss the rules and requests in advance to make sure I can provide appropriate care for the animal.

Over: My whole life I have lived with pets, even with owning several at the same time, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs and others, all with different temperaments. I am able to perform any animal-related tasks, including walking, feeding, giving medicine, playing, cleaning after, etc. I am a full-time psychology student, which allows ms very flexible weekly schedule. Additionally, I am homebody, so I can spend a lot of time indoors. However, on top of that I love being outdoors on walks and runs, during all times of the day. I have a cosy, small studio apartment in the city center, without any roommates nor animals present. The surrounding area outside is in close proximity to nature areas and dog parks.

Over: We hebben 10 jaar lang een hond gehad met heel veel plezier en leuke momenten. Het was een Ridgeback, dus aan grote honden ben ik gewend! Verder heb ik bij familieleden of mensen in de buurt op hun hond gepast, of een rondje met ze gelopen en extra aandacht gegeven. Ik heb zelf een rustig karakter en dat zie ik ook bij de honden terug. Ze vinden het fijn om met mij te zijn en zijn snel gewend. Ik werk zelf onregelmatig. Ik ben coördinerend begeleider op een woongroep met mensen die een auditieve en verstandelijke beperking hebben. Ik werk slaapdiensten, dagdiensten en avonddiensten, dus ik heb altijd wel een gaatje om te komen knuffelen of een wandeling te maken. Ik ga graag wandelen op het strand, in het bos of een blokje om net wat nodig is! Ik kom graag lekker knuffelen of spelen met de hond (pup of wat ouder geen probleem). Ik heb een auto dus ik kan ook er op uit naar het strand, het bos of een dichtbijgelegen park.

Over: Ik heb op de middelbare school les gehad in dieren verzorging in theorie en praktijk. Ook hebben we thuis al sinds ik mij kan herinneren dieren thuis. Ik laat elke dag de hond uit en geef hem eten en aandacht, ik pas ook vaak op huisdieren van vrienden en familie ik heb dus ook ervaring met meerdere honden en katten Omdat ik zelf een ouder hondje heb die aan het dementeren is, let ik altijd goed op tijdens bijv het uitlaten. Hij loopt ook erg veel rond maar omdat hij niet meer zo goed kan zien let ik dan ook goed op dat die zich niet klem loopt

I've walked every type of dog from an anxious and elderly rescue, to a beagle who pulls the leash at every new smell, and to large dogs who can walk for hours and get excited at every squirrel we pass. I have grown up with both cats and a dog in my own home, and gained experience caring for them and their specific needs and wants as they reached their final years. I also have a lot of experience in childcare, which has made me hyper-responsible and patient. I love animals of all kinds and will always ensure they are safe and happy. I am currently a student at Leiden University and have classes a couple days per week. Meaning, I can come to your house whenever I am not in class! My schedule is very flexible and I am available for nights and weekends too. I can walk any type of dog big or small, clean up poop in the yard, and clean cat's litter boxes. Old dogs need a short walk, other dogs need to run and play longer and more time per day. I will help your dog to maintain his lifestyle the closest as possible to the one she is used with you. My house is a house with a garden with a fence and spacious green areas close by. There is a lot of space to walk in the surrounding area. I live with my husband, my 14 years old daughter and one English bulldog (7 year-old).
