I have always believed that cats are the best judges of character. They do not care about what you say; they care about how you behave. Living in Leiden, I've built a special bond with many local street-roaming cats, which has only deepened my love and understanding for these amazing creatures. The little things matter: Every 'head bunt' and cheek rub is a sign of trust I cherish. My approach is simple: I let the cat lead. I have noticed that even the more cautious "neighborhood regulars" in Leiden tend to feel comfortable around me. Some have even started waiting for me on my doorstep. I think cats trust me because I am a naturally quiet person and I never try to force an interaction. My Experience & Education: - De Poezenboot (The Cat Boat) in Amsterdam: Volunteer focusing on providing a calm, "low-arousal" presence for senior, blind, and fearful rescue cats. - Fear Free® Shelter Program: Successfully completed certification. - ATN Switzerland (Akademie für Tiernaturheilkunde): Currently undergoing a formal two-year education program to become a certified Feline Behaviorist. This advanced training, combined with my practice at the boat, allows me to understand feline psychobiology and boundaries at a professional level. I apply this knowledge during every visit to ensure your cat’s environmental, behavioral, and emotional needs are fully met. Whether your cat is a bold explorer or a shy soul who prefers to watch from a distance, I will make sure they feel respected, understood, and safe. I offer a free "Meet & Greet" so we can see how your cat reacts to me in person. No pressure, just a quiet introduction.

I prioritize routine by providing fresh meals, clean litter and engaging play. I monitor them closely and offer plenty of snuggles and loving companionship as well.

Dagmara is the best cat sitter we could find. She truly cares about making animals feel comfortable and safe. We received informative and extensive reports on a daily basis, there was not a single day without checking ins, pictures or videos. Additionally, Dagmara is flexible with time and happy to help with other small things (bringing a package into the house, mail etc). Honestly you’re not gonna find a better person to take care of your pet. We wish her all the best and hopefully we will see her in the future :-)

Dagmara did a fantastic job looking after our three cats. She took great care to learn their individual routines and preferences. She went far beyond simply meeting their needs, giving each of them the individual attention they crave and engaging them in challenging, enriching play. It was clear that she genuinely connected with all three of them. Her daily reports provided just the right amount of detail, and her photos were priceless. We loved seeing how happy and engaged they were while we were away. She was also exceptionally responsive and communicative throughout our time away, which gave us complete peace of mind. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and will definitely book with Dagmara again!

Dagmara was so lovely to work with and our cat, Charlie, was so happy and well cared for with her. I don’t think Charlie even noticed we were gone! Would recommend Dagmara to anyone needing pet sitting or pet care.
Dagmara is an excellent cat sitter. She is very knowledgeable about cats and diligent to ensure all tasks are done precisely. She also genuinely cares about giving the best care for the cat/s. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Currently home full-time, I offer complete flexibility for your cat’s routine. I’m available all day for consistent companionship, frequent play sessions and attentive, reliable care.
