Over: Ik heb sinds ik klein ben al huisdieren. Mijn vriend en ik willen graag oppassen op andere dieren. Hij heeft vroeger thuis een hond gehad. We hebben ervaring met honden en katten en zjjn er gek op! Wij werken beide vaak thuis en hebben daardoor tijd op om te passen en/of huisbezoeken te doen door de dag heen. In het weekend zijn wij ook flexibel. Wij hebben 2 bengalen die alles hebben van kattenbakken, drinkfonteinen, krabpalen, torens ;). In onze jeugd ook een Rottweiler gehad en daarmee opgegroeid. Dus ervaring met katten en honden van alle maten.

Over: Ik ben een echte hondenliefhebber en ga bijna dagelijks wandelen. Hoewel ik zelf geen hond heb gehad, heb ik wel regelmatig opgepast op honden van vrienden en familie. Hierdoor heb ik ervaring met het uitlaten, verzorgen en omgaan met verschillende honden. Ik ben rustig, geduldig en zorgzaam, en vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich veilig en op zijn gemak voelt. Ik let goed op de omgeving, het gedrag van de hond en eventuele andere honden, zodat de wandeling prettig en ontspannen verloopt. Ik ga rustig en liefdevol met honden om en pas me aan aan het tempo en de behoeften van de hond. Vertrouwen en veiligheid vind ik erg belangrijk, zodat jij je hond met een gerust gevoel aan mij kunt toevertrouwen.

Een gewone wandeling of uitjes naar het park of het strand is allemaal mogelijk. Ik werk niet altijd hele dagen en ben daardoor erg flexibel. Weekenden zijn vaak nog makkelijker als ik verder geen plannen heb:) kortom in overleg is er vast iets mogelijk. Ik woon in een appartement, dus opvang in huis doe ik alleen voor kleinere honden. Over: Zelf heb ik al twee jaar een lieve en speelse labradoodle genaamd: Ollie. Het wandelen en spelen met honden vind ik ontzettend leuk en samen met Ollie bied ik een gezellige en leuke wandeling voor jouw hond! Momenteel studeer en werk ik daarnaast nog. Hierdoor ziet elke week voor mij er net anders uit en heb ik net andere uren. Maar hierbuiten heb ik genoeg tijd om te lopen met de honden. In mijn omgeving is er veel ruimte om leuk te wandelen. Er is een klein (omheind) losloopgebied 2 minuten verder van mijn huis en ook ben ik met de auto binnen 20 minuten bij het strand of grotere losloopgebieden.

Over: Hi! I'm Jess and I am a dog mom to 11-year-old Siberian Husky, Luna. She is a sweet, energetic, confident dog who loves all kinds of people and other dogs. She has lived and traveled all over the U.S. (over 20 states!) and now has made her way with us across the ocean to The Netherlands. Even before becoming a Rover sitter, I cared for friends' and neighbors' dogs on many occasions including a beagle, a husky and a golden retriever and grew up with shih tzu and a cockapoo, who I loved to play with and walk around the neighborhood. I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport, pet sitter will provide receipts and apply a charge for reimbursement of costs incurred to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it takes to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet. This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: €10/hr 5pm-10pm: €12/hr 10pm-8am: €16/hr Holidays & Weekends: €18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of €40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner.

I’ve also stayed with dogs who are crated and am comfortable with crate commands. For their safety, I highly recommend crating puppies under 2 years old and any dog with a pattern of chewing or swallowing household items (remotes, pillows, etc.) when you are not home. Crate-trained pets will be crated per the owner’s instructions. Having an 11-year-old husky means I have had my fair share of experience with unexpected veterinary visits and emergencies. I am comfortable communicating symptoms to veterinary professionals with thorough details as needed. I have years of experience monitoring pets’ symptoms when they are sick, providing at home first aid, and acting quickly when additional care is needed. Veterinary Care & Emergency Transport Policy: While veterinary care and especially emergency veterinary care is a rare circumstance of a booking, pets can be unpredictable. When a medical facility advises veterinary care based on a description of symptoms over the phone, pet sitter will advise seeking veterinary care. If pet owner objects to seeking veterinary care when medically necessary, pet owner will be responsible for either taking over care of their pet themselves or securing a different caregiver expeditiously. To ensure the pet sitter is adequately compensated in extenuating circumstances, please be advised that for any unexpected or emergency travel or transport over 10 miles away, a fee of $1/mile (for example: if required to drive 40 miles roundtrip, the fee will be $20) will be applied to your booking. An additional charge will also be applied to the cost of your booking at an hourly rate starting at the time of departure to the vet and ending at the time of either arrival to your home or, if your pet is required to stay at the vet, departure from the vet + time it would take to travel to the pet sitter’s home from the vet (for boarding clients, mileage will be calculated based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s home). This will include any additional trips back and forth to and from the vet to visit or pick up your pet based on the roundtrip to the vet from pet sitter’s or your home. Hourly rates are as follows: 8am-5pm: $10/hr 5pm-10pm: $12/hr 10pm-8am: $16/hr Holidays & Weekends: $18/hr *veterinary emergency room visit wait times can exceed 8 hours on weekends and holidays Cleaning & Vehicle Damage Policy: If pet sitter is required to clean up bodily fluids due to illness (vomit, urine, blood, diarrhea, etc) in order to maintain a safe environment in your home, their own home, or their personal vehicle, a one-time fee of $40 will be applied to your booking. The pet sitter will also require reimbursement by the pet owner for any cleaning supplies that are not readily available in the pet owner’s home. If the pet sitter’s vehicle is damaged by your pet or requires professional cleaning, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for repairs and cleaning fees by the pet owner. Injury To Pet Sitter Policy: If, under any circumstance, the pet sitter is injured by a pet, the pet sitter will require reimbursement for related medical expenses by the pet owner. I’m a small business owner and work from home, taking care of my own 10 year old female Siberian Husky named Luna, and can easily accommodate some other furry friends! I have a fenced in secured back yard with multiple spotlights and security cameras, alarm system in my home which is set any time I’m away from home without my dog, and at night regardless. We have a clean 2 story home with 2k square feet of interior space and a large fenced in private back yard with a (6.5ft fence). My wife also works from home and is a highly experienced Rover sitter herself, and we treat all pups like our own!
