Over: I have taken care of both dogs and cats, with experiences in house-sitting and shorter daytime visits. I've walked every type of dog from an anxious and elderly rescue, to a beagle who pulls the leash at every new smell, and to large dogs who can walk for hours and get excited at every squirrel we pass. I have grown up with both cats and a dog in my own home, and gained experience caring for them and their specific needs and wants as they reached their final years. I also have a lot of experience in childcare, which has made me hyper-responsible and patient. I love animals of all kinds and will always ensure they are safe and happy. I am currently a student at Leiden University and have classes a couple days per week. Meaning, I can come to your house whenever I am not in class! Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met twee vizsla’s, katten, konijnen en paarden — een echte dierenliefhebber! In het weekend werk ik in een bar waar we onze viervoeters graag in de watten leggen. Daarnaast pas ik regelmatig op onze vaste barhond, een Rottweiler van 3 jaar, en maak ik ommetjes van 30–60 minuten met haar. Ik ben graag in beweging en help met plezier mensen met een drukke dag door hun hond gezellig mee te nemen voor een wandeling. Met liefde, aandacht en energie zorg ik dat jouw hond een fijne tijd heeft, of het nu een korte wandeling of een langer rondje is. Ik ben erg flexibel en kan van maandag tot en met vrijdag bij ieder tijdstip combineren met mijn werk. Weekenden ben ik ook beschikbaar overleg. Huisbezoek: Ik verzorg de hond of kat bij het baasje thuis, geef eten en water, laat de hond even uit en geef veel aandacht en knuffels. En soms een klein koekje 😉 (altijd met toestemming van het baasje!). Hondenuitlaatservice: Ik haal de hond op bij het baasje en maak een veilige, leuke wandeling door het bos of rondom de Klinkenbergerplas, of natuurlijk in de vertrouwde omgeving van de hond, afhankelijk van de voorkeur van het baasje. Over: We hebben 10 jaar lang een hond gehad met heel veel plezier en leuke momenten. Het was een Ridgeback, dus aan grote honden ben ik gewend! Verder heb ik bij familieleden of mensen in de buurt op hun hond gepast, of een rondje met ze gelopen en extra aandacht gegeven. Ik heb zelf een rustig karakter en dat zie ik ook bij de honden terug. Ik werk slaapdiensten, dagdiensten en avonddiensten, dus ik heb altijd wel een gaatje om te komen knuffelen of een wandeling te maken. Ik ga graag wandelen op het strand, in het bos of een blokje om net wat nodig is! Ik kom graag lekker knuffelen of spelen met de hond (pup of wat ouder geen probleem). Ik heb een auto dus ik kan ook er op uit naar het strand, het bos of een dichtbijgelegen park.

Thuis hebben wij zelf altijd grote honden gehad, zoals Mechelse herders, Anatolische herders en Zwitserse herders, waarbij ik altijd zeer betrokken ben geweest, waarvan drie als puppy. Puppy training en senioren zorg heb ik dan ook van dichtbij ervaring mee. Verder heb ik ook ervaring met een grote verscheidenheid aan andere honden rassen, groot en klein, zoals labradors, teckels, keeshonden en Huskies. Ik heb ruim 80+ uur aan prive hondentraining gevolgd, met zowel puppies als volwassen honden uit het asiel met gedragsproblemen. Ook met het toedienen van simpele medische zorg zoals het geven van tabletten en toedienen van subcutane injecties heb ik ervaring. Over: I've taken care of my own dog, Charlie, now a 9-year-old English Pointer, since I was 14 years old. He required a lot of exercise (walks twice a day) but also due to other complications being a purebred dog, he needed a lot of attention and care, as well as medication twice a day for the past 6 years. I also have experience with cats, as I grew up with a Siamese and Burmese (both purebred, and have very strong but different personalities), which I then had the joy of experiencing taking care of two litters of kittens with my Burmese cat. I have dog sat for a family that had a very old and blind dog, whom needed special care as he was blind and needed help getting outside, which I would do early every morning.
