Over: Sería mi primera vez cuidando perros y/o gatos, pero siempre he estado rodeada de perros y sobretodo gatos, tengo mucha experiencia con gatos, ya que desde los 15 años adoptaba gatos de la calle, actualmente tengo 6 gatos de mascotas en mi país y me encantan 🥰 también me gustan mucho los perros y aunque sólo tuve 1 como mascota hace algunos años, de igual manera me llevo muy bien con ellos. Disfrutaría mucho ayudándote a cuidar de ellos. 😊 Trabajo de Lunes a Viernes, pero a partir de la tarde del viernes puedo cuidar con mucho gusto a tu mascota hasta la noche del domingo o la mañana del lunes, el fin de semana completo estoy disponible para cuidar, jugar y darle mucho amor a tu mascota. Mi apartamento no es muy grande pero tengo una terraza trasera un poco más grande de lo normal a los demás apartamentos, esta terraza esta semi vallada de la parte de enfrente, no tengo mascotas por lo cual no debes preocuparte.

Over: Ik ben opgegroeid met honden (Golden Retriever en Hollandse Schapendoes) en heb de afgelopen jaren vaker op de hond van vrienden gepast (Golden Retriever x Friese Stabbij). Ik ben een echt hondenmens en het lijkt me leuk en gezellig om ook op jouw hond te passen! Ik werk parttime voor de overheid en ik geef naailessen. Ik woon sinds kort weer alleen en het lijkt me heel gezellig om in de weekenden op een hond te mogen passen. Ik ga graag wandelen (ik train voor een meerdaagse hike in september), zowel in de parken in mijn buurt als op het strand (als een hond met de tram durft). I “shared custody” with Piper (shown) for 1 week a month for years and have recently started dog sitting larger and younger pups I work from home so am able to play with your dog on breaks. and take them out multiple times a day. Over: I was taking care of all my neighbours dogs in my previous appointment in Amsterdam. In love with them and like to take them out for long walks. (Also run with the dogs that likes it) I’m working remotely all the time and can take care of dogs in my place for day, nights or both. Walking them outside, let them play in my fenced yard or run if they are into that are what I could offer. I can take care of cats in your place as I have minor allergies to some of them and it will become major if I stay with them longer. For dogs, I’m open to keep them at your place or mine. I have no pet by my own but like them more than anything else.

 I am Basma, a 27-year-old professional living and working in the Netherlands. I moved to the Netherlands back in 2019 for my master studies at Leiden University, and started working since 2021 upon graduation. My journey from the bustling streets of Shanghai to the serene parks of Den Haag to the charming canals of Amsterdam has been an exciting and amazing adventure. 

 My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my deep love for dogs and my commitment to their well-being, and the fact that I cannot have my own doggy in the near future :-(((((. I genuinely desire to ensure that pets receive the best care and love that they deserve, even when their owners are away for holidays/busy with work. I always try my best to understand and empathize with the anxiety pet owners feel when they have to leave their furry family members behind, and I strive to provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for every dog I care for. Luckily my work is super flexible and I can work from home at any time if I want, meaning I can be with dogs 24/7 if needed.

 In addition to the joy of spending time with animals, being a pet sitter allows me to meet wonderful pet owners and become a trusted part of their lives. It's a rewarding experience that combines my love for dogs with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships within the community especially now I'm trying to be more extroverted.
 Last but not the least, I always respect different personalities different dogs have, so please share as much information as possible about your (and my upcoming) friend when reaching out.

 Environment & Services
 I live in a quiet and comfortable apartment by myself near Den Haag Centraal Station, nearby which there is a gaint park where I can always see a lot of people walking their dogs. As a bonus, there is also a deer park. I prefer to walk our fluffy friends there in the park, or somewhere nearby if he/she has a 'go-to' place :-)  

Good to know 
- I can go for walks 1-3 times per day (morning & afternoon), at least 30 minutes each time, or longer if needed.  
- For day care & one-night boarding (1 dog only): I will be with the dog the whole day; For multiple-night boarding (1 dog only), I can be with the dog all the time except when I need to do grocery shopping (max. 1 hour). (My job doesn't require me to work from the office, so I can be with the dog as much as needed) 
- Dogs can stay in every corner of my apartment except my bed! 
 - Home visits take approx. 30 mins (can be longer if needed upon consultation), and I'm also willing to water plants :-)

Over: When I was just 3 years old, I had a scary encounter with a Doberman, but thanks to my mother, a true animal lover at heart, that moment became the start of a lifelong passion. She believed that animals and children belong together, and she made it her mission to nurture that bond from the very beginning. It wasn't long before she and I made one of the best decisions of our lives: adopting a puppy from the streets. From his very first bath to healing his mange and watching his fur grow back healthy and full, every step of his transformation was pure magic. He came to us in need, and he gave us back so much more. Unconditional love, joy, and a home full of warmth. ♥ That little rescue dog didn't just become family. He opened my eyes to the incredible capacity dogs have to heal, connect, and love without conditions, and he planted in me a deep respect and tenderness for animals that has only grown stronger over the years. With time, our family grew again. A sweet Brittany-Cocker mix joined our home as a 3-month-old puppy, and one of the most beautiful things I've ever witnessed was watching our 8-year-old dog gently welcome her with such grace and tenderness. Dogs never stop teaching us. It's this journey, rooted in rescue, love, and transformation, that I bring to every furry friend I care for today. I am a freelance photographer, I can easily manage my schedules, I am available to take care of pets in the week and on the weekends. I can take care of the pets in your house without problem. Take them for a walk, and even do a special photo session for them :)

Over: Hoi! Ik ben Mireille en ik heb jarenlang mijn leven gedeeld met Bello, mijn Golden Retriever en beste vriend. Ik heb hem destijds geadopteerd uit het asiel en tot het einde met veel liefde mogen verzorgen. Sinds Bello er niet meer is, mis ik het hebben van een hond om me heen enorm. Vooral Golden Retrievers hebben een speciaal plekje in mijn hart. Hun zachte karakter, vrolijke hoofd en gekkigheid… daar word ik erg blij van. Daarom bied ik me graag aan als wandelmaatje of als oppas bij mij thuis. Ik hoop vooral weer af en toe dat fijne hondencontact te hebben en tegelijk een eigenaar te helpen die een oppas zoekt, want ik weet hoe moeilijk het kan zijn. Ik heb ervaring met puber en senior honden, medicatie, snuffelwandelingen, honden met een rugzakje en het aanpassen aan wat een hond op dat moment nodig heeft. Ik woon in een appartementencomplex (met lift), met een grote achtertuin voor een gezellige speelsessie en een tuin aan de voorkant waar lekker gewandeld kan worden. Verder zijn er diverse parken in de buurt. Korte wandelingen, langere snuffelroutes, lekker spelen met de bal of een logeerpartijtje, ik kijk graag samen wat past bij jou(w hond). Ik werk deels vanuit huis en ben flexibel in overleg. Bij mij krijgt je hond aandacht, liefde, rust en wandelingen op zijn of haar tempo. Ik werk hybride en fulltime, deels kantoor en thuis. Ik ben beschikbaar voor opvang gedurende dag of logeerpartijtjes met name in het weekend. In overleg is er veel mogelijk en ik denk graag mee waar nodig. Ik woon in een appartementencomplex met aangrenzend een grote achtertuin voor een tussendoortje speelsessie. Voor wandelingen kunnen we voor het appartement terecht en bij diverse parkjes in de buurt!

From a young age I learned what it means to be responsible for another life, and I’ve always seen pets as true members of the family. That’s exactly how I treat the animals I care for, with love, patience, and attention to their individual needs. Since moving to the Netherlands, I’ve looked after friends’ cats and dogs and discovered how much I enjoy providing this kind of care. I usually go to the gym in the mornings, so my afternoons and evenings are open and flexible for walks, playtime, or drop-in visits. This routine allows me to give pets plenty of attention and keep them on a schedule that feels natural and consistent. Safety and comfort are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always keep my home clean and pet-friendly so they can feel relaxed. I have safe walking areas right outside (both grass and pavement), and a park just 10 minutes away that’s perfect for walks, play, and fresh air.

Over: I am originally from Australia and have left my dog behind (with my family!) and miss him very much, so really enjoy meeting new dogs around den haag . I understand that every dog is unique and has their own personality and I love spending time developing a friendship with them. I am comfortable with larger dogs as well as small dogs and am happy to walk on the leash with them. I also love running so if you have an active dog, I'm more than happy to take them on a run (usually 5-6km). Since moving to the NL I have also become a cat lover, after sitting two beautiful Russian blues for seven months. I have fallen in love with cats and just adore spending time with them and being in their aura. I work full time hybrid from the office and from home. I work in a dog friendly office and would be happy to take them in with me! Otherwise, I can also work entirely from home during the odd week if that’s going to be easier. My weekends are spent walking in parks and enjoying the outdoors. Or if I am in the company of a cat, curling up on the sofa and giving them all the cuddles. I am not a big party person so do not go out frequently and don’t have big groups over to my place. You can trust that your pet will be in a calm environment. I live in an apartment with a park close by. I live about ten mins from the beach and love to take dogs there (off leash if they are allowed). Please note I have a steep staircase so if your pet is not good with stairs I am hopefully strong enough to carry them up!
