Over: I have grown up around dogs. Most clients I have babysat for have dogs and I have one too. I love animals whether they are large, small, walk, hop, fly, swim or slither I have always enjoyed every creation. I think the world is a better place for having people like Jack Hanna, Cesar Milan, Steve Irwin, and there are too many to list! No other animal is used to aid the blind, and help fight wars. Dogs can teach us things and are excellent companions what's not to love? I am not ready to get a new one after loosing my dog to cancer less than a year ago. Over: We hebben 10 jaar lang een hond gehad met heel veel plezier en leuke momenten. Het was een Ridgeback, dus aan grote honden ben ik gewend! Verder heb ik bij familieleden of mensen in de buurt op hun hond gepast, of een rondje met ze gelopen en extra aandacht gegeven. Ik heb zelf een rustig karakter en dat zie ik ook bij de honden terug. Ze vinden het fijn om met mij te zijn en zijn snel gewend. Ik werk zelf onregelmatig. Ik ben verpleegkundige maar werk op een woongroep met mensen die een auditieve en verstandelijke beperking hebben. Ik werk slaapdiensten, dagdiensten en avonddiensten, dus ik heb altijd wel een gaatje om te komen knuffelen of een wandeling te maken. Ik ga graag wandelen op het strand, in het bos of een blokje om net wat nodig is! Ik kom graag lekker knuffelen of spelen met de hond (pup of wat ouder geen probleem). Ik heb een auto dus ik kan ook er op uit naar het strand, het bos of een dichtbijgelegen park.

Over: Dieren zijn goed voor de ziel! Ik ben gek op honden en katten en ik haal veel vreugde uit hun aanwezigheid. Ik ben zelf opgegroeid met honden en weet zodoende wat er qua verzorging nodig is. Dieren zijn meestal snel op hun gemak bij mij, ik kan uren met ze wandelen, spelen en kroelen. Omdat ik nu zelf geen huisdieren heb, lijkt het me leuk om te helpen uw hond/kat te verzorgen. What originally started with taking care of our neighbour's dog when I still lived with my family in Germany has turned into becoming a pet-sitter for more than 5 years now. Biggie gets two long walks a day, plenty of playtime, and lots of love - and I’ll treat your dog just the same. In the hot days we keep a paddling pool in the garden for the dogs to play in and keep cool, I never have more than 2 dogs at a time at my home, so plenty of room for them and one on one time with me. I work from home every day with my husband so the dog/cat is with me at all times, I often go for two long walks a day (depending on the breed of dog) we live in the village Warmond so there’s lots of nature, woods and parks for the dogs to run around in. The walk in the morning is usually 1.5 hours and the one in the evening is usually 40 mins, throughout the day the dogs are welcome to play in our large garden at the back of the house which we have fenced off at any point in the day. We have heavy grade locks on our front door so the house is very secure and the property itself is pooch safe, we have a large fenced off garden for the dogs to use for their business which we have fenced off so they can’t escape, I usually leave the French doors open so they can go outside as much as they want. On hot days we have a paddling pool for the dogs and I also put ice in their water to keep them cool, with lots of dog ice lollies (homemade!).

Een aantal jaar geleden heb ik vrijwilligerswerk gedaan in een dierenasiel, ik werk nu parttime en zou het leuk vinden om zo nu en dan honden uit te laten, op te passen en leuk mee te spelen! Aangezien ik momenteel parttime werk zou ik voor een aantal dagen in de week honden kunnen uit laten of voor een aantal uur op een dag kunnen oppassen.
