We left our pup with Deanne for a 7 day trip and she was incredible. It was all positive vibes from our first meeting onward. Our dog was clearly comfy, wonderfully cared for, and loved! Deanne will be our first call for future trips!

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.

About: I’ve grown up with Chinchillas, Cats, Dogs, Ducks, Chickens, & Reptiles. My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

Kaitlyn was amazing! She helped us out when we were in a pinch and needed dog sitting for a weekend with only one days notice! We had never had Lucy boarded anywhere before and we were a bit nervous about the process, but it went so smoothly! She sent pictures to reassure my kiddos she was being well taken care of! I would definitely recommend her services and will be using her again for dog sitting in the future!

About: My boys and I love dogs, and we love being at home, making us a fabulous choice for hosting your favorite loved one. Thank you for considering us! Hi, I’m David. I’m a stay-at-home dad to my two boys, Zenith and KoaSol, and we share our home with our dog, Magnolia — Maggie for short. We live on 10 private acres with open lawn, fields, gardens, and trails, far away from roads and traffic. We spend much of our time outdoors gardening, landscaping, cutting trails, playing, and caring for the property, so visiting dogs have plenty of fresh air, space, and attention. My boys are 11 and 5 and love dogs. They are excited to welcome new dog friends, while I remain solely responsible for all care, supervision, routines, and safety. Maggie is social, playful, and friendly, and she enjoys having other dogs around. I will respect your instructions and your dog’s normal routine as much as possible. Please share any important details about feeding, health, behavior, crate comfort, sleeping preferences, and how your dog does with children and other dogs. Meet-and-greets are welcome before booking, and I’m happy to send updates during your dog’s stay. My goal is to provide a safe, attentive, family-centered home where your dog is cared for with patience, respect, and genuine attention. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog will not be left alone for long periods. If we leave for errands, Maggie is comfortable in her crate, and we can offer the same option for your dog if they are crate-trained or feel secure that way. We also have a spare crate available, or you are welcome to bring your dog’s own bed, crate, blanket, or comfort items. While my kids are always game to play, I will be solely responsible for the care of your loved one!

If there were more stars that I could give Vera, I would do that!❤️ I was going on vacation for four days and needed to find a boarder and this is the first time that I have ever went away. I met and chose Vera and am sooooo glad that I did. She erased any anxiety that I had and was an AWESOME pet sitter!!!! She gives daily updates with photos and videos so you can see how your fur baby is doing. I will definitely use her again in the future for anything.

I left my dog with Amanda just for one night and I couldn’t have been happier. My energetic dog, Zeus immediately got along with her dog, Enzo and they got to play in her nice fenced in yard. He was definitely able to get his energy out there, he came home exhausted. As soon as I dropped him off there I felt a sense of comfort. I knew that I had nothing to worry about. I highly recommend Amanda:)

Jialin and John watched my new senior rescue Bianca for a long weekend and were so good to her! I was a little nervous since I had her less than a month and was still figuring out her unique behaviors and preferences but she was in great hands. We did a meet and greet beforehand and Boo-boo was a great host, sharing his home and parents. Jialin even taught Bianca a new trick that we have been working on back home. Bianca was sent home with a plastic baggie of some treats she liked to keep the good times going back home. I look forward to the next time Bianca can stay with them!

Margie and her family are absolutely wonderful. Very easy to schedule a meet and greet, time to drop off/pick up our dog and received plenty of updates and photos. Our dog has anxiety issues and Margie made sure to care for her needs (excelled, really), and was comfortable giving medicine to her each day. We will book another time for sure!

FAQs for Dog Boarding - Niverville

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 353 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Niverville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Every sitter on Rover has their own rhythm and routine, but most will follow the flow that keeps your dog happiest. Sitters can give meals on your dog's regular schedule, provide a comfortable place for sleep, and plenty of one-on-one attention.

97% of Niverville sitters also include daily walks in the neighborhood during dog boarding stays. You can also request photo and message updates throughout the stay so you can see which Niverville landmarks or neighborhoods your dog is enjoying.

If your dog is a little shy, consider booking a one-night trial stay! This practice run can boost your and your dog’s confidence before your trip.

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Niverville home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

  • Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
  • Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
  • Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Niverville.

Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

You and your Niverville sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
