About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My first job was as an Animal Care Technician with the Humane Society, and I later worked at a military veterinary clinic for more than five years. Caring for animals isn’t just a job for me, it’s something I’ve been passionate about since childhood. I’ve always had pets of my own and have rescued many animals over the years. To me, pets are family, not just animals. When your pet stays with me, my home becomes their home. I’ll follow and reinforce your training and household rules, while also making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I tailor their care to their individual personality and energy level. I currently work full-time. But not too far from my job. So I can always come home to let pets out if need be. I will be available to give them all the attention in the afternoon and on the weekends with the help of my kids who just adore any animal. I have a fenced in yard with one dog and one cat to keep your pet company. I can also crate your pet if needed.

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I usually respond after 5pm. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.
