My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.

I was a little nervous since I had her less than a month and was still figuring out her unique behaviors and preferences but she was in great hands. About: I have taken care of my own and all of my family members pets for many, many years. Not only dogs and cats but also snakes, birds, mice, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, fish, lizards and chinchillas. My family was always saving animals and had a great love for all animals. I am pretty open and retired and looking to spend time with animals. I prefer a smaller breed of dogs if needing to walk for safety reasons. About: I’ve been in the dog service industry for about 4 and a half years now. I spent the first few training and working at a prestigious dog boarding facility. There I strengthen my skills and knowledge of dog behaviors and body language. The past year I have worked on receiving my CCPDT certification. I am trained to provide a variety of medications as well as handle emergency medical situations. After the last few years pet care has been routine for me. After work I usually let my parents dog out or a dog that is boarding with me. I’ve taken them on walks before my shift in the morning. I always try to make sure that the dogs are mentally stimulated with a puzzle or some sort of enrichment even a walk can not fit into our schedule. I am always mindful of the dog and what behaviors they’re providing me. If they’re not running up to the door with very open loose “happy” body language, I will take my time and give them the space they need to adjust to my presents. A lot of dogs need time to warm up and many people do not give them the needed space to do so and it’s how we end up with these “bad dogs” which they actually aren’t.

I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.

“As I write this review I look down at my pup who is exhausted from her stay with Mary and Todd. They took Harper in last minute for an overnight/all day play date with their other dog pepper. Harper was treated as one of their own. Over the course of her stay we had daily updates and shared pictures of the trip to art Omi and for evening/morning walks. “We left our 3 girls with Logan for an overnight stay. He was terrific!! He sent pictures and videos and communicated with how the girls were doing and getting along with the other dogs in his care. We had a 3 hour drive home and the girls slept the entire way! They had such a great time and I know they were well taken care of. I would rebook with Logan in a heartbeat.”
“Amanda watched our 2 year old Shepherd mix, Sid, one night when we needed a calm dinner out, and we couldn't have made a better decision. Her fenced in yard was a dream for our dog, and she was super accommodating and responsive with our day of request and quick meet and greet. She sent us plenty of pictures of Sid smiling and romping around, we will definitely be booking with Amanda again!”

“We boarded our two dogs with Diana this past week. Both of the dogs are rescues and bit skiddish around people, so we met for a brief meet & greet prior to the boarding date with her dog. The dogs got along great. I felt comfortable knowing that Diana has had a lot of experience caring for dogs - she provided good updates to throughout their stay and was very responsive. I would highly recommend and would use her services in the future!”

“Cache took great care of Charlie. He was super calm when I picked him up, instead of jumping all over me. Maybe he wanted to stay with her! Cache was very communicative and also flexible with my ever-changing timeline. It seemed clear that Charlie was her top priority for the 4 days he spent with her. She was on top of his routines and packed up all his things tidily for pick-up. By the way, I know Charlie doesn't care that she has a lovely apartment, but I liked it a lot. 😊 Cache inspired confidence so that I could relax during my trip.”
