“My dog had a great time with Patty! She was so communicative throughout my dog’s stay. I always get anxious leaving my pup when I go on vacation but Patty made me feel so comfortable. I received many photos and updates while I was away and my dog came home happy and healthy. I can’t recommend Patty enough and my pup will be back.”

“This is my second time leaving my Paris with Ms.Vera. I receive photos and videos throughout her stay, which makes me feel, that my Paris is doing just fine. I always feel that Paris is well taken care of and safe when I'm away. Ms. Vera will be my go to everytime. Thank you Ms.Vera”

About: I’ve grown up with Chinchillas, Cats, Dogs, Ducks, Chickens, & Reptiles. My Fiancé & I currently have 3 Cats (they love dogs- but if any issues - can be kept separate in their cat room to create a more comfortable stay for any pet that doesn’t like cats), between me & my partner- someone is always home to give attention to & play with pets. (Aside from when we go to the store or doctors appointments). Your pets will get the best care!!! Someone will always be home with your pets, either I am home or when I’m at work my fiancé Deanne is home & is also a huge animal lover. The only times someone isn’t home is when we’re grocery shopping or at an appointment. We have the rail trail right in our backyard that goes for miles- it’s a great trail to take dog walks on! We usually do that or use tie outs or the dogs leashes in our yard since we don’t have a fenced in yard, but your pets are never left unattended on the tie-outs, someone will be outside with them at all times
“Brigid was perfect for my older dog Scout. She is very loving and attentive. Scout seemed very content with Brigid, who kept me updated with photos and videos. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter for Scout.”

“My dog came home happy and even better, tired! My pup loved her dog and kids. Brooke was great about communication and sent updates. Will definitely book again.”

“Candice was kind, caring and responsive. She took the bestest care of my dog, Bruce, and was so patient with me and my husband even though we booked her totally last minute. I cannot wait to book her again!”

“Jialin and John watched my new senior rescue Bianca for a long weekend and were so good to her! I was a little nervous since I had her less than a month and was still figuring out her unique behaviors and preferences but she was in great hands. We did a meet and greet beforehand and Boo-boo was a great host, sharing his home and parents. Jialin even taught Bianca a new trick that we have been working on back home. Bianca was sent home with a plastic baggie of some treats she liked to keep the good times going back home. I look forward to the next time Bianca can stay with them!”

“Sheronda was great! Communicated often with us, sent us lots of great photos of our dog, and did a great job socializing him with the other dogs (making him comfortable). She has a great back yard (fenced in), with lots of great areas to walk dogs. Overall we are super pleased, will be booking with them again!”

“Irene has been such a great find in the Berkshires! She always gives helpful communication with each stay, and Ruby seems to love her time with Irene (and her sweet dog Goldie). Thanks for all of the care that you give to Ruby - we'll see you soon!”

“Laura is amazing. She owns several small dogs, and has a lot of experience with senior & special needs dogs. She immediately put us at ease during the meet & greet, which she offered to do prior to Molly's stay to make sure we were comfortable w/ her & her home (and to see how Molly would do with her dogs). During Molly's stay, she sent us frequent pics, videos & updates, which was fantastic. She's competent, friendly, & reliable. We will definitely be bringing Molly back the next time we need boarding.”

“Mary and Todd were wonderful hosts to our 4 month old puppy, June. Everything was handled very easily and leaving her behind with such nice people was really comforting. She even got a longer walk than she would have with us!”

“Darcy was wonderful and we felt very comfortable leaving our pup with her family. Our dog was well cared for and came home happy. We will highly recommend Darcy to friends and family who also need dog sitting services. Thank you Darcy!”

“Absolutely thrilled with Cashe's dog bordering services! Professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive to my pet's needs. Cashe was highly responsive to my texts, making the whole experience seamless. My Opal seemed happy and I couldn't have been more at ease knowing she was in such caring hands. Highly recommended!”

About: My boys and I love dogs, and we love being at home, making us a fabulous choice for hosting your favorite loved one. Thank you for considering us! Hi, I’m David. I’m a stay-at-home dad to my two boys, Zenith and KoaSol, and we share our home with our dog, Magnolia — Maggie for short. We live on 10 private acres with open lawn, fields, gardens, and trails, far away from roads and traffic. We spend much of our time outdoors gardening, landscaping, cutting trails, playing, and caring for the property, so visiting dogs have plenty of fresh air, space, and attention. My boys are 11 and 5 and love dogs. They are excited to welcome new dog friends, while I remain solely responsible for all care, supervision, routines, and safety. Maggie is social, playful, and friendly, and she enjoys having other dogs around. I will respect your instructions and your dog’s normal routine as much as possible. Please share any important details about feeding, health, behavior, crate comfort, sleeping preferences, and how your dog does with children and other dogs. Meet-and-greets are welcome before booking, and I’m happy to send updates during your dog’s stay. My goal is to provide a safe, attentive, family-centered home where your dog is cared for with patience, respect, and genuine attention. Because I’m home most of the time, your dog will not be left alone for long periods. If we leave for errands, Maggie is comfortable in her crate, and we can offer the same option for your dog if they are crate-trained or feel secure that way. We also have a spare crate available, or you are welcome to bring your dog’s own bed, crate, blanket, or comfort items. While my kids are always game to play, I will be solely responsible for the care of your loved one!

“Felt comfortable leaving my dog with Marisa. She was great. Plus she has her dog and had a couple other boarding dogs my dog could play with. Will definitely book her again when we go out of town. Happy to have found her for Lela.”

About: I have years of experience with many different types of dogs. I watch dogs on a regular basis. For younger dogs I can offer a mountain hikes and for older dogs I can walk them on boardwalk trails that are easy on the joints, yet give the dog the sense of walking in the woods. I don't mind larger dogs at all. I also am willing to cook food for dogs. I very much enjoy the company of dogs and find that when they are well fed and exercised they are really pleasant to be around. Please give me honest description of your dog so I can plan His/Her visit accordingly. My house is set back (1000 feet) from a country road . I can pick up dogs in NYC , Great Barrington , Hudson, or Albany for a fee. I have watched many dogs over the years. Usually I try to walk them as much as possible. I feed them well , but make them follow the sit command before being fed and multiple times a day. All dogs have to be on a slip proof leash when outside or dropped off. Dogs often don't behave as they do at home . Once off a leash it can be very difficult to recapture a dog. In the house I don't crate dogs . We can only watch a few dogs at once. If your dog is very difficult let me know in advanced. Also Corgies get 10% off.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Nassau
Mikayla was wonderful with my 2 dogs! She watched them for a few days while we were out of town. It was our first time using someone other than family to watch our dogs. She communicated with me daily, providing updates, photos and videos. She had no problem feeding them their raw food diet and was careful with my 7 yr old frenchie who has a few food allergies. She even made sure my 11 month old cane corso had a chance to run around the yard and get out all her puppy energy.

Mikayla was super accommodating to our hectic schedule and helped work around some funny times that we had. She sent picture updates of my dog and her response time was fast whenever I had questions or was just checking in. We did a meet and greet before boarding to make sure she was a perfect fit for my crazy goofy dog and it was a sure hit! I felt safe and comfortable leaving my dog with Mikayla and I will definitely be using her services again for future boarding. 10/10 recommend!
