About: I’ve been caring for my own dogs as well as pets of family and friends since a young age, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. I treat every pet as if they were my own—ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My dog is friendly, well-socialized, and enjoys playing with other pets. With your permission, I’m also happy to provide high-quality photos during each visit, so you can see your pet happy and content. I currently work full-time in a hybrid position, which means I’m home about 3 out of 5 weekdays. I’m also available most weekends and enjoy spending time outdoors. During the warmer months, I often take my dog to the dog park for play and exercise. Your pet will receive plenty of attention, care, and companionship, whether we're relaxing at home or enjoying time outside. I do my best to ensure each pet feels safe, happy, and part of the family during their stay. I have an open, unfenced yard, so for safety, all pets will be leashed while outside. We also have a spacious deck where your pet can relax and enjoy the summer breeze. Inside the home, your pet will be free to roam and play under supervision. My own dog is friendly and happy to provide companionship if your pet enjoys socializing. I have a medium-sized crate available if needed, and plenty of toys to keep your pet engaged. Fresh water will always be available, and your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities.

“Jamie and Danae were terrific caretakers for our "zoo" of animals including both fowl and feline. I would rebook them again! In addition the communication from them was regular, caring, and detailed. Five stars.”

About: I've done house/petsisting in the past & thought I'd get back into it. I can either come to your house (for dogs) or take your cat at my apartment. I currently work full time M-F 8-5. I can do after work or on the weekends. I live in Bethel...so local would be nice to have. I cannot care for dogs at my apartment. I can go to your house or I can take cats. I have a small apartment good for snuggling.

About: Nice to meet you! My name is Isabella. I am a lifelong animal lover with deep experience caring for a wide range of pets. Most recently, I provided attentive, full-time care for two dogs and five cats over the course of a month in a family household whilst they were on vacation. This included feeding, walking, frequent bathroom breaks, playtime, litter box maintenance, and administering both oral and topical medications with care and precision. And of course, plenty of cuddles with furry friends. I’ve been surrounded by cats since I was in the cradle and have raised multiple kittens throughout my life, giving me a strong understanding of feline needs at every life stage. I currently care for my senior kitty, whose special needs have made me especially attentive, patient, and skilled in administering medications and monitoring health cues. I have had dogs of my own as well and have similar comfort in canine medication needs. I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs of all ages and most temperaments. I always follow each pet’s lead, respecting their boundaries, and reading their body language and communication to ensure they feel safe, seen, and loved. Whether large or small, energetic or shy, I treat every animal as if they were my own—with affection, respect, and a deep sense of responsibility. As I have a (human) psychology BA, I try to apply this knowledge in pet sitting. Each pet is an individual, just like people! I currently work as a paraeducator for elementary students. As a senior cat owner myself, pet care is a central part of my daily and weekly routine—it’s not just a job, but a commitment I’ve built my life around. With several years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, I’ve developed a structured schedule that ensures every pet receives consistent, personalized attention. My day typically starts early with morning feedings and pet space maintenence, and I plan my daily activities around each pet's individual needs, whether it’s administering medication, cleaning litter boxes, longer walks, or providing enrichment and companionship. When providing in-home care, I adapt fully to each pet’s routine to keep them as comfortable and stress-free as possible while their owners are away. I also build in regular text/call and photo updates for pet parents so they feel connected and reassured. Pet care isn’t something I fit in—it’s something I prioritize, and I approach it with the same dedication every day of the week. I primarily care for pets in my clients’ homes, which allows me to maintain their routines in a familiar, low-stress environment. I take the time to understand each pet’s specific needs—whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, exercise, or playtime—and I follow their routine as closely as possible to provide consistency and comfort. For dogs, that often includes daily walks, backyard or park play, and structured downtime. For cats, I focus on litter box maintenance, interactive play, and creating calm, cozy spaces. I also provide lots of affection and companionship tailored to each pet’s personality. (And if permitted, yummy treats). In every case, I treat each home with the utmost respect, keeping spaces clean and tidy, and I keep pet parents updated with regular messages and photos so they always know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: We've had a family dog for 18.5 years, each year full of unconditional love. I now have a dog of my own and hope to spend just as many loving years with him. Each dog I met makes an imprint with me, whether it be family dogs or ones I pass during a walk. I am available to spend time with your beloved pets at any time! I can walk them throughout the day while I walk my own dog and can be available for house sitting upon request! I have a big yard with a runner for the dogs to play on. I live on a dead end street that isn't too busy so there is no worry for your pup to run off. All my neighbors are friendly and would lend a hand if anything were to happen!

“Carolyn went above and beyond for our pup! She is very trustworthy, punctual and a great communicator. My younger son has a lot of anxiety when we have to leave our dog, and he felt so comfortable having Carolyn watch over her.”

About: I am a semi retired veterinary assistant with nearly 20 years professional experience and a passion for caring for animals. As a life long pet owner myself, I know how hard and stressful it can be to leave your pets at home. I appreciate and respect the trust that every owner puts in me when they contact me to care for their animal. I can give medications if needed, including injections. Also have worked in shelters and volunteer at rescues. I have taken care of senior dogs and cats. Feeding, walking, playing or if they have any special needs is not a problem. I have a flexible schedule and open to working with you to arrange drop in visits. Mid morning through later afternoons are open for me. If you need another time, just let me know. Whatever your pets need is fine with me. Whether they want to play, walk or just hang out. If they are a little shy and need time to get used to me is fine. I will take my time to learn what they need and adapt to them. The goal is always to keep them as stress free as possible

About: I'm very patient with animals. I love spending time with them. I often pet sit for people in my social circle and enjoy it very much. I work from home 3 days a week. I'd be happy to spend my work day keeping your pet company during your work day away from home. I follow the wants of the pet parent. Whether it be no more than 2 goodies a day. Make sure they get some fresh air and snuggles.

About: I grew up surrounded by animals. Five years ago I adopted two cats who I absolutely adore. I helped raise my roommate’s puppy and have walked/cared for dogs and cats at shelters. I have trusted Rover to find a perfect fit for my cats when I needed a sitter and I want to be that loving and reliable person for someone else now. I am currently taking some time off from my full time job so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets at any time of the day! I am happy to tailor my services to the needs of your pet/s. While I do not provide services at my own home, I would love to help out at your home, which is, in my experience, more comfortable less stressful for the pets themselves.

“Zarah was great with Loki! I was nervous using Rover due to it being my first time but it turns out to be such a relief because Loki was left in the care of someone who truly loves animals . I definitely plan on having Zarah watch Loki for my next trip.”

“isabella is wonderful, she takes great care of my 2 dogs i would recommend her 5 times over if i could! the dogs look forward to seeing her”

Jordan K.
“Jordan is the best loving "dog mom" to her 5 year old golden. She always puts him first and makes sure he is always very well taken care of. She has been asked many times to care for other pets as they know she is dependable and loving towards all creatures big and small. It's hard to find a trust-worthy, dependable, caring individual - but look no further. You would be lucky to have her care for your family pet(s). I know she is the first person I would think of!”

Anne S.
“There is no one that I trust with my cats more than Anne! She has watched them for me multiple times before and has been excellent every time. She is extremely knowledgeable and attentive, always paying attention to not just my cats' physical needs but their emotional states as well. Changes in routine can be stressful for furbabies and Anne always seems to know when to give space or when to draw them out with some play. I know she has worked with animals for years now which is an extra layer of reassurance when I have to be away from them. She is always punctual and considerate of my time and home. Very easy to work with, no drama, just respect and love for animals. Thank you, Anne!”

TIERNA D.

“Tierna did a great job. Animals looked happy in all the photos and when I returned home. She went beyond what I expected of a sitter. Highly recommended.”

Gianna G.
“Gianna is the most responsible person I know, and is the only person I trust with my Shih Tzu and Sheepadoodle. She is reliable and caring. She makes sure that the environment is safe for them and walks them constantly. I would trust her with any size furrpet. Megin”

Samantha L.
“I wholeheartedly recommend Samantha as a pet sitter. I have had the pleasure of knowing her for over 7 years and I can say with full confidence that she is one of the most responsible, trustworthy, and compassionate people I know. Samantha has cared for my own pet on multiple occasions and each time I returned home to a happy and well cared for animal and a clean, well managed home. She is attentive to details, great with instructions, and always goes the extra mile to make sure pets feel comfortable and loved in their owner's absence. Whether it's sticking to a strict feeding schedule, going on long walks, or just giving pets the attention and affection they need, Samantha does it all with genuine care. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pets like family, Samantha is the one.”

Erin G.
“I think Erin is really a such wonderful sitter for my pets French bulldog (partly anxiety) and an outdoor/indoor cat. I was so grateful for discovering a prefect sitter through a friend of mine in a shyly week away before leaving for my five days vacation. Erin coming to my house daily to take care of my pets back and forth in between morning afternoon and evening. It was so cool that she took some pictures of them and video them and sent me pictures and videos through texts. I enjoyed seeing them and made me smile broadly they were in a comfortable hands. I thought it was very thoughtful of her and for her actions. Very highly recommended for Erin.”

Newtown dog parents share their Rover experiences
I can't say enough good things about Caroline! She's been our go to pet sitter for a few month's now, and we're so thankful for her care to our two senior dogs. She has been able to administer medication when they are being stubborn, and has been available to walk them and care for them on last minutes notice more than once. Most recently, she was with one of our dogs while he had a seizure, staying with him and giving him medication after. I'm incredibly thankful that she was with him for this and would recommend Caroline to anyone who needs a pet sitter.
