“This was an amazing experience! They took care of our fur babies and were really knowledgeable and good with our dogs immediately right at pickup. “My husband and I just moved to the area and were very eager to find someone to care for our pets when we travel. We came across Alissa and it was the best find we could have ever made! She watched our 3 pups and 1 cat for the first time and I couldn’t be happier with her services. She came to meet the pack a week before the stay and to my surprise they were all on their best behavior and I had to assume it’s because they knew Alissa was an animal lover - they loved her so much! Even though it was just an overnight, Alissa provided us with some cute pictures and an update on their evening which was very reassuring. When we reunited with them the following day they were all so happy. I would highly recommend Alissa to anyone and everyone with pets. Now we can go away and be assured that all our kids are under the absolute best care - thanks, Alissa!”

“It’s great when you know your cats will be in great hands. They took such great care of my cats and made sure I got updates. Cats can be finicky so glad they were taken care of well, and I could enjoy my vacation.”

About: Your dog becomes part of my household, which already includes a Border Collie and Jack Russel. I would not crate any dog unless absolutely required for short periods. Therefore I need to meet the dogs before commitment to ensure they are friendly and fit in for a visit. I am running my own farm business and is at home almost all the time, taking care of animals is my day-to-day activity. I only take in 1 or 2 animals at a time and already spend a lot of time walking and playing with my own dogs, adding 1-2 additional is part of the daily activities. I have 2 dogs already, they are never crated (since initial house training). I would not expect to crate any visiting dog either, unless there are specific circumstances raised by owner or if dog is destructive in the house when running free. I am the only carer for visiting dogs. While there are other people in household, I will be the sole carer and only person signing up with Rover.
