About: Growing up I was my neighborhood’s pet sitter. From Parker the Golden Retriever to Charlie and Choco the Boykin Spaniels, all the way to Pepper the tortoiseshell cat, I formed deep loving connections that still last to this day. I am experienced with walking, playing, training, and administering medications. I love to keep your space how you prefer to have it, including keeping up with regular cleaning routines. I work part time and can modify my hours if given two weeks notice, allowing for me to care and love for your fur baby whenever you need! I am available weekdays and weekends, and on my regular work schedule can visit at 7am, 10am, and anytime after 7pm. I am available for overnight services as well! I have three beautiful cats, Juniper, Rose, and Panini. Our community is full of love, play, and connection. I have a medium sized bathroom where I sometimes foster cats/kittens, and can house other animals when needed, while still keeping my cats separate. This is an alternative to them being crated or in a kennel while you are away, and although they will not have free roam of the apartment, they will still get to go outside for walks and play, and receive lots of pets and love!
About: I’ve had pets my whole life. I’ve dealt with English mastiffs all the way down to chihuahuas. Would love to take your dog for a walk or check in on them! I work from home, so I have the flexibility to be with your pet all day if they board with me, or the flexibility to pop out and walk your dog or check in on your kitty I live in an apartment with a private entrance (by key fob). Access to both elevator and stairs. Plenty of room for an additional cat if they board.
About: I’ve lived with fur babies most of my life. I have worked closely with mostly dogs and cats. I have also taken care of bunnies, guinea pigs, lizards, and hamsters. I am working on my writing my next book and have more open availability. I can look after your furr babies during the morning, afternoon and early evenings preferred. I know that some fur babies hold trauma from their past. Just like us humans. It’s good to help them feel safe and know their triggers.
“Arabella was very helpful with us and taking our sweet boy out three times! She was very responsible, caring and gave us great feedback and updates with our boy! 10/10 will recommend she was great”

“Dominique was so flexible and kind about a last minute booking. My pup liked her immediately and happily went off on a walk with her. I got lots of pictures even though it was dark and I didn't expect them! Absolutely will book with her again in the future!”

I follow your instructions closely and keep their routine as normal as possible—whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, giving medications, or making time for their favorite games and walks.

About: Hi my name is Harmony I’m 19 years old! I’ve always loved going over friends houses that had animals as I didn’t have any of my own. And I adored feeding and giving love to strays in my neighborhood. I moved out at 18 with a friend and was given my first pet ever the sweetest kitty I could have imagined who was such a cuddle bug and always so well behaved just loved attention and affection. Ever since him I’ve fallen even more in love with cats and dogs alike and just how amazing animals can be. I’ve had to move since and am working to get my own apartment for my kitty and I and hopefully more kitties or pups of my own but until then it brings me so much joy to look after and give love to so many others it fills my heart that is longing to care for animals! I work mon - Thursday 3pm to 2am but I’m completely free Friday through Sunday to watch your fur baby’s and will be more than happy to keep them company 😊 I live in a three bedroom apartment with no pets at the moment and 3 other people!! I don’t have a backyard but there is a mini dog park!
About: My husband and I have adopted three senior dogs over the years and absolutely loved giving them a safe, happy retirement home. We’re not in a place to adopt again just yet, but we really miss having a pup around—so Rover is the perfect way for us to share our home and hearts with dogs in the meantime. On top of caring for our own dogs, we’ve also spent years sitting for coworkers’ and friends pups, which gave us experience with all kinds of personalities and routines. From playful puppies to special-needs seniors, we know how to adapt and make every dog feel comfortable and loved. My husband and I both work hybrid, with only one day a week where we’re in the office at the same time. On all other weekdays, a pup wouldn’t be left alone for more than 2–4 hours. We’re also homebodies who love spending weekends around the house and yard, so dogs get plenty of company and attention! At our home, pups enjoy a fenced-in yard (about 40x30 ft), and we leash-escort them safely to and from it. We also live right by the Greenway and love going on daily walks—anywhere from 1 to 4 miles, depending on what your dog enjoys. We’re experienced with special needs and always happy to provide personalized care and extra love to each pup who stays with us!

I care for pets by keeping everything as close to their normal routine as possible. I give them their meals, walks, cuddles, and play sessions just the way they’re used to. I also make sure they feel calm and loved, whether it’s through belly rubs, quiet companionship, or active play.

Newell South dog parents share their Rover experiences
Tara was absolutely fantastic with our dog, Tango! As first-time users of the Rover app, I was initially a bit nervous about letting someone into my home—especially with a highly anxious pup. But Tara put us at ease right away. She responded quickly, came by the same day to meet me, and was incredibly punctual and attentive to all of my requests. Thanks to her, my first Rover experience was seamless. Thank you Tara!

Marissa was amazing with our pup! We had just moved into a new home and didn’t have our fence set up yet, so leaving him alone during the day wasn’t an option. Marissa gave us total peace of mind while we were at work—super reliable, communicative, and clearly great with dogs. Highly recommend!
