About: I have spent most of my 36 years caring for animals of all species. As a pet owner of 7 fur babies, one quilled and several feathered friends, I put pet care at the top of my list. As a business owner, working from home I have plenty of time to devote to committing to caring for your pets. My schedule is flexible. Every pet and pet owner has their own unique preferences and needs. I will care for someone else’s pets following specific instructions requested. Beyond a provided guideline, I will pay attention to each pets body language and environmental need. I will provide safe and thorough assistance.
“She took wonderful care of Loki, handled his excitement with patience, and even cleaned up after him. The photos she took are gorgeous and really capture his personality. highly recommend!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life, primarily large dogs up until end of life, as well as cats in the last 6 years. I’ve got extensive experience with these guys, and my love for these animals runs deep! I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule is very flexible for visiting or playing with your pets! The best times to schedule me are between 8am and 8pm, but I am open to other hours with planning in advance. :) I have a screened in yard, as well as 2 crates for small dogs and cats, comfy beds, and toys for them to play with! I also have treats and a dedicated space within my home for them to relax in.
“Michaela did a great job with Sophie! She was so easy to communicate with! I felt so comfortable having Michaela take care of Sophie. She took great care of her, was reliable, and took the cutest pics! Can’t wait to have her take care of Sophie again!”

About: I've always been a pet lover and once I became a nanny I had the opportunity to not only care for the children but the pets as well. I then started pet/house sitting. I have experience in administering medicine. I walk, bath, love and play with the pets I care for. I am a single mother and my daughter is with me all the time. We would love to take care of your fur babies who are good around children. . I'm available for morning walks/feedings. I'm also available all weekend. I work part-time as a nanny in the early afternoon till 6 but I'm free to do check ins. At the moment I am unable to provide care in my home. This is temporary and I'll offer those services again mid June, thank you.
“Diem was GREAT checking in on our dog and taking her for walks. She is extremely respectful of our home, communicated well, sent sweet notes and pictures on the app, and our dog loved her. Will book again!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and always got along with them. Recently, friends and family have been asking me to look and take care of their parents when needed! I'm flexible with my time currently, and I am available during the week from 11AM-10PM, just not on weekends! I have a part time job but I work minimal hours so it doesn't interfere with my care taking times. I have a fenced backyard and 2 small older shih tzu's, one girl and one boy! They get along well with people and other dogs from the times my extended family and neighbors have come over with their pets!
About: Hi my name is Joseph! I grew up in a veterinary hospital being surrounded by all breeds and sizes of cats and dogs. I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for several years, including pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments, from high-energy puppies to calm senior pets. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning, and sticking to each pet’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I’m especially patient with shy or anxious pets and take the time to build trust so they feel safe with me. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. Whether it’s going on walks, giving lots of love and attention, or just keeping them company, I make sure they feel cared for while you’re away I’m home most of the day, so pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I’m able to give pets lots of attention, keep them on their normal schedule, and make sure they’re never left alone for long. I truly enjoy being around animals, so spending time walking, playing, and caring for them is something I look forward to every day I treat every pet like they’re my own. I stick closely to their routine so they feel comfortable, whether that’s feeding times, walks, or just their usual habits. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of their space and make sure everything stays clean and organized. I also send updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. If pets are in my home, they’ll get lots of attention, playtime, and a calm, safe environment where they can relax. I’m home most of the day, so they’re rarely alone and always well cared for.

About: Hey there, my name is Courtney, I am 32 years old. I am a Psychology major at UNCC and I currently work as a (human) CNA. I have experience working as a veterinary assistant and I have lots of prior pet and house sitting experience. I recently moved over to Rover from a different petsitting platform. I have been an animal lover and pet owner my whole life! I currently have a hound lab mix named Luna, a pitbull named Peep, and a cat named Jade. I love all animals; fur, scales, feathers, and hooves. I have experience caring for small animals such as reptiles, birds, bunnies, small rodents, and fish. As well as large animals such as horses, goats, and donkeys. Please reach out if you have any questions! Right now, I am available upon request. Subject to availability. Reach out to me with your plans and requests, and I will see what I can do to make it happen! Thank you Due to my own crazy fur-children, I do not offer pet-sitting services in my home. However, I would be more than happy to drop-in for visits, walks, and even stay the night in your home so your pet(s) can remain in their own comfortable and familiar environment.
“Rachel was on time and great at communicating! It was so comforting knowing that she was there to give Gus the attention he needed while I was out of town!”

About: Hi, I’m Ellie! Growing up in North Carolina gave me a lifelong love for animals, and I’ve spent almost 10 years caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from playful pups to seniors needing extra care. What sets me apart is my focus on peace of mind and clear communication. I love walking, running, playing, cuddling and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I’m also inclusive and compassionate, non-ableist, and always respectful of boundaries. For me, treating both pets and people with kindness is what makes this work so rewarding. I CAN ONLY DO HOUSE SITTING SERVICES FROM 6AM-6PM. IF NEEDED LATER/EARLIER I MUST STAY OVERNIGHT! My eyesight is bad and I cannot drive in the dark. Caring for animals has always been a central comfort in my life. Working with pets brings me joy, structure, and a sense of purpose, which is why I’ve chosen to pursue pet care full-time through Rover. • My schedule is very flexible! Allowing me to be available for walks, drop-ins, or extended care as needed if discussed! • As an autistic adult, I value clear communication and comfort in my routine, and I do my best to create the same sense of calm and consistency for the pets I care for. I want to be fully transparent: while very rare, there may be times I need to cancel a booking due to personal mental health needs or if a situation feels unsafe. In those cases, Rover's cancellation policy will ensure you're refunded appropriately. Furthermore I’m working to build strong, lasting friendships your fur-babies and you! I truly appreciate your patience and understanding as my client, thank you for considering hiring me despite my struggles. I bring compassion, reliability, and a deep love for animals fit for every client. If you’re looking for someone kind, attentive, and flexible I’d love the chance to work with you and your pups! How I help being the best care to my clients is by build trust, boundaries, strong communication, and familiarity with each person/pet when accepting new clients into my books! I'm always excited to work through challenges, try new things, and learn new things.
“Keegan is great! She really cares about the dogs and their personalities. She notices the details about their behavior and knows how best to engage with them. Both times she spent the full 30 or 60 minutes with my dogs. She sent lots of pictures and notes about how things went. Best experience with rover so far.”

Kait was amazing! She is very nice so my dog Renly fell in love with her immediately. She brought him on his walk, gave him some love and treats before leaving. She was punctual, responsible and I was very happy she could be of help. I would definitely recommend her!
