“I have used Deborah for both day care and overnight boarding and she is awesome! She and her family take great care of my anxious boy and I will continue to use her services.”

“Darci loves Barbara and Tucker! When we arrived, she went straight to Barbara to get some loving. It makes being away so much easier when you know your furbaby is loved and safe. Thanks, Barbara!”

“Kristina and her husband were wonderful to work with and they took amazing care of Arthur. Easy drop of and pick up. Clear communications and no confusion. Great updates throughout his stay. He was loved and treated as one of their own dogs. And it showed. I will definitely be using this family again for my boardings in the future.”

“Timmy felt like a star staying with Maria and her family! He looked so happy (and photogenic) in the numerous photos and videos she sent throughout his stay. They were very accommodating when we had to change our pickup time due to flight delays, and it was nice to be able to have one less thing to stress about knowing Timmy was in good hands. Timmy would definitely stay with Maria again in the future!”

“Gabriela and Alex were so amazing with our dog, Boris. Boris can be temperamental, so I was worried, but they quickly put me at ease with how caring they were to him. So much so that we had a hard time getting him out of their house haha looking forward to booking again!”

“Svetlana took excellent care of Dexter during his two-week stay. Communication was great from start to finish, and she consistently sent detailed updates, photos, and videos every day, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while traveling. It was clear Dexter was very comfortable and happy in her care. She paid close attention to his routines, walks, eating habits, and even adapted really well to communicating with him using hand signals since he is deaf. We especially appreciated how observant and thoughtful she was about his comfort, behavior, and exercise. Dexter clearly bonded with her family and PomPom, and it genuinely felt like he was staying in a caring home environment rather than just being boarded. We would absolutely book with Svetlana again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and caring dog sitter.”

“Our second booking with Chanisy, we are very very happy to have met her. Always profesional, Humble and polite. Sparkles loves it when she goes over, has a great time and comes home very happy. If you’re looking for a very Awesome Border for you’re sweet Doggo, look no further, contact Mrs. Chanisy.”

“Cara was fantastic with Ollie and he definitely received 5 star care/attention during the week-long stay. Cara was prompt when replying to our questions and sent updates regulary. Ollie came home tired from playing with Bear and extremely happy. This was his first time away from us since we adopted him from the SPCA in September. Ollie had a little anxiety the first day, but Cara quickly gave him the attention he needed to feel safe and calmed right down as if he'd been there 100 times. Couldn't be happier with choosing Cara.”

“Lori was great! I am very selective who I leave my dog since he is 13 and I don’t want him getting hurt. I appreciate the good care she took of him while I was away and the picture updates! He came back full grins and I could tell he had a good time.”

“I am not sure if this is good or now but we are so happy that when Pepper stay's with Kristina, Pepper thinks it is a vacation :) . We love the fact that she is happy and with a person that cares for her like her own dog.”

“Lesly has all 5 stars for a reason! She took the best care of Hazel over the last week. Hazel can get pretty anxious and has a medical issue we’ve been working on and Lesly made it a priority to give us peace of mind and create a happy and safe environment for her. We got daily updates and pictures throughout our trip and could tell Hazel became right at home with Lesly and her family! We will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Great service and excellent communication. She sent pictures and videos throughout the stay, which really reassured me that the dogs were having fun and well taken care of. Highly recommend! Will book again.”

“I’m crying laughing they braided my dogs hair 😂😂 My dog has never been so comfortable staying somewhere. He’s an old guy so hearing that he’s playing and is energetic is so sweet! Would highly recommend!”

“Deuce’s activity was twice as much as normal while at Monica’s He obviously had a blast, and he has slept for the past two days LOL I was so relieved to not have to worry about him! ♥️”

“Ashley did a wonderful job helping my dog ,Lacy to feel comfortable about being away from her family. She also kept in touch and sent pictures often to assure us that Lacy was adjusting well. I definitely will be using Ashley the next time we go on vacation. I would recommend Ashley to anyone who needs a animal sitter.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner my entire life, which has given me a strong understanding of their needs and behaviors. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I have also taken care of dogs for family members and friends. Through these experiences, I’ve worked with dogs of many different sizes, breeds, and ages. This has helped me become confident and comfortable handling a wide variety of personalities and care requirements. I am currently a college student, but with summer coming up I have plenty of free time to put my full attention into your dogs. I currently don’t have any pets so there won’t be any issues with encountering other pets. My home has plenty of space to play indoors. I have a fenced in back patio for small outdoor space. My apartment complex is dog friendly with lots of grass, walkways, and dog areas. While taking care of your pet I will be able to stay with them the whole time, and give them full attention while in my care.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
