“Great sitter! Responsible and trustworthy, was a great thing seeing my dog excited to see her. Communicates Incredibly well and is very thoughtful. Definitely someone I'd recommend to others as well.”

“I couldn't be happier with Anna and the care she provided for my dog. My dog is 9 years old and also has some special needs (on anxiety meds), and I felt so at ease knowing that Anna was looking after her. She communicated proactively and sent me pictures and updates while I was away. I'm glad I already have her booked for my next out-of-town trip!”

“Was super easy to work with and had great communication. Also stayed an extra day when we had some issues getting back into town. Definitely would recommend booking her!!”

“Kat was amazing!! It was our first time leaving our dog, so we were nervous about how it would go. Those fears very quickly flew away, because Kat went above and beyond in so many ways!! We highly recommend her to care for your fur babies. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I grew up in a home that always had dogs, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs, and I understand that each animal has different needs, personalities, and levels of care. My sister also owns six cats, which has given me experience being around kittens, senior cats, and cats with health issues over the years. Through that, I’ve learned how important patience, attentiveness, and affection are when caring for animals. I genuinely love being around animals — seeing their personalities, making them feel comfortable and happy, and of course spending time cuddling and playing with them. I would love the opportunity to spend time caring for animals this summer, so please feel free to reach out if you think I could be a good fit! I currently work T/TH afternoons and M-F evenings. Looking for part time, one time, or daily help to offer! I am available between jobs, around every four hours maximum, and available for overnight. I am unable to have animals in my home due to roommates with allergies, but am more than willing to pet sit and spend time in your home. I will treat your home with respect, as I would like mine treated, and your pets as if they are human babies (they are basically).

“Sara took care of our dogs and several smaller creatures such as fish and geckos while we were away for a week. She did a wonderful job and kept us informed and shared plenty of photos. We couldn't be more pleased with the care she provided.”
“Paul did a great job house sitting our reactive and skittish dog for a week while we were on vacation. Paul asked our update frequency preferences and delivered on them. Paul seems to genuinely care for Zoey's well-being and took good care of the house too. Would book again!”

“Wendy was absolutely amazing with my two dogs! From the moment we met, I could tell she truly cared about their comfort and happiness. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Both of my pups seemed so relaxed and happy when I got home—it was clear they were well cared for and given lots of love and attention. I’m so grateful to have found someone so reliable, kind, and attentive. I’ll definitely be booking with Wendy again!”

“Beth was very communicative and worked with our older dogs to accommodate both of their needs (our little one doesn’t love walks but the big one loves and needs them.) During the meet and greet, she noted even little things, like where the dog beds are/where they like to sleep. I definitely plan to ask Beth back.”

“Alana and her boyfriend did a wonderful job taking care of our dogs, Molly and Leroy. Alana is responsive in her communication and her calm demeanor was perfect for our pups. We will definitely re-book with her!”

“This was my first time using ANY dog service to sit with my separation anxiety ridden fur baby and I have to say I was MORE than impressed with Jaime!!! She truly is a Dog Whisperer and knows her canines well. Kobe immediately warmed up to her and made a new two legged human friend??. Jaime is a kind , knowledgeable person who definitely has that special energy that both people and especially dogs appreciate. It’s something you have or you don’t…you can’t buy it. I am so glad that I found her as she is now my GO TO for sitting with my 9 year old boy. LOVE HER!!!!! And Kobe LOVES HER TOO!!!!”

“Daila is the absolute best! My girls & I loved her. This was my first time using Rover and I couldn’t have picked a better sitter. She is super trustworthy and very responsive. We received so many updates while on our trip.”

“Daniel was excellent. Took care of my kitties while I was out of the country for 2 weeks and constantly kept me in the loop and sent me pictures of them daily. Would highly recommend him.”

New Unionville pet parents share their Rover experiences
Anneke was wonderful! She sent a picture everyday and let us know how things were going. She was willing to learn how to give our cat his oral meds, which is huge for us! Clearly our dog loved her as she chose to sleep in Anneke's room the last two nights. Anneke is mature, responsible and a good communicator. We highly recommend her!
