My current just turned 3 and is a lab/german wired haired pointer mix who is always looking for new friends. She had TPLO surgery last year so I am also comfortable with post-op restrictions!! About: I have taught my dog multiple tricks and continue working on separation anxiety and reactivity. Since getting my dog I have learned a great deal about dog food, behavior, and training. I've always had love for animals, and have had a dog in the house since I was 4 years old ranging from small dogs too big dogs. Growing up I would binge animal planet and had hopes of being a veterinarian. Now as an adult, I have had Midas for 3 years. I treat every new dog I meet with respect, and of course love. I've learned to be able to adapt my energy and interactions with different dogs depending on their personality. I would love the opportunity to be of service to you and your lovely fur-baby! I will be un-employed from my seasonal lawn and landscaping job starting December 12th. I will be returning to that job sometime April 1st. I also plan on starting an odd jobs side hustle during the winter months. So if i become too busy from odd jobs I will adjust my availability accordingly and stay available for constant communication to ensure no scheduling conflicts. Christmas and new years (December 22nd- January 2) will be limited availability. February 14-21 i will be on a trip to Arizona. I take my dog for a jog every morning, at least one walk, to our little dog park at the apartment two times per day, and the big dog park a couple of times per week. We go on adventures together and explore different walking paths and nature trails. We feed him once a day and ensure he does a series of tricks and waits for the "ok" command before he can eat. We feed him a three way mix of fresh pet, Dr. Harveys, Meats, and Kibble. I intend to provide a healthy and fulfilled life full of play and love for my dog, and I will treat your dog the same.

I work flexible part-time jobs, so my week-to-week schedule is varied. I am open to overnight sitting or just for a few hours at a time. Reach out to me even if I am listed as unavailable as I may only be available at a certain time. For example, I volunteer at a wildlife rescue on Wednesday mornings with availability afterwards, but Rover does not allow partial day availability. I make sure to understand a pets' needs and to meet those standards, while making sure their environment is safe. Conveying those needs is important to me before actually beginning pet care. About: I have grown up in a pet filled home. In my household, we always had at least 2 dogs and one cat. My parents relied on my sisters and I to take care of all of our pets. I came to this role enthusiastically as I have always enjoyed feeding, walking, and giving love to pets. In high-school, I frequently pet-sitted for neighbors and family friends! Some of these opportunities consisted of me just stopping by and giving pets company or exercise, but I have various experiences taking care of pets overnight in their homes.
