“Chelsea watched my 14 year old dog for a weekend while I was away. I think he enjoyed it so much I have never seen him act better! Highly recommend if you have an older dog or one that needs a bit more attention!”

“Nora was amazing! She fit me in last minute and was extremely patient with my dog being slow to adjust in new spaces. Great updates and photos throughout the booking. Would definitely recommend any of your precious fur ones to her!”

“Mariah was an excellent sitter for our girl Millie. She sent us lots of pictures, and Millie looked so happy and cared for. She got lots of walks and hikes, as well as indoor playtime with doggy games and puzzles. She was also generously flexible with our pickup time. We are extremely satisfied and will definitely be booking with Mariah again!”

“Mary Jane is definitely a caring and attentive dog sitter. She took care of our BB like he was her own. A very safe, clean, and loving environment for your pets. I highly recommend Mary Jane and her cohort Debbie for their expertise. They are our go to for BB!”

“Celsei was great with communication and has a deep love for animals. We felt secure and confident our cat was in good hands after only a few days into our trip. Thank you Celsei! Sunny (our cat] will definitely return when we travel again.”

“Madison was wonderful and flexible. First, we were able to modify our dates before the trip. Second. We ran into traffic on our way home and Madison was able to watch our dog for extra tune until we got home. We got picture updates and our dog was happy.”

“She was amazing there dog aurora is so cute and friendly. My dog had the best time and came home absolutely exhausted will definitely have them as my first choice for all bookings”

“Lucy definitely made my dog feel comfortable. I appreciated the communication since I received a few pictures a day of my dog. Lucy did a great job and made sure to give my dog her medicine. Thank you!”

“Our golden Bailey loves staying at Destinee’s house! She loves it there so much that she sprints to the front door as soon as we get there. They do a great job of sending daily updates and photos and do enrichment activities too. This trip we got a piece of art painted by our pup - love it. Highly recommend them!”

“Kelsey has a wonderful and kind energy. I truly can’t say enough good things about our experience with her. Spot was immediately made to feel like one of her family and I loved getting updates and photos of him receiving so much attention and love, especially from her daughter his new BFF. My only fear was that Spot was having too much fun and would be sad to leave. We definitely have to plan another trip so Spot can go back to visit his new friends.”

“I can't recommend Danielle highly enough! She stepped in at the last minute to provide specialized care for my cat after an incident just days before vacation. We so relieved knowing my pet was in such capable hands. Being a vet med for over a decade she is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and confident handling medical needs. Danielle took the time to ensure my cat, Jelly, was comfortable and well cared for, and they kept me updated throughout. It's not easy to find someone with this level of experience and compassion. I would absolutely trust them with my cat again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a skilled and dependable pet sitter.”
“Keli took wonderful care of my two dogs. She was very attentive, and I felt completely at ease knowing both of them were safe in her home — including my senior dog and my escape-artist dog. Her own dog Remi is very friendly and got along great with my older dog King. I really appreciate how thoughtfully she cared for them and would absolutely trust her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Savannah and I am a postdoctoral researcher in the biology department at IU. I have experience caring for all kinds of animals (dogs, cats, reptiles, fish and more). I have experience with small and large dogs, hyperactive/nervous dogs, as well as senior dogs so you can be assured that I know how to handle just about any dog personality. I am very responsible, considerate and dedicated to making sure your pets are happy and healthy. I consider it an honor to be welcomed into your pet’s life and take my job very seriously. Please feel welcome to ask me any and all questions you might have. Thank you so much for considering me! I cannot wait to hear from you and your pet! I have fairly flexible working hours as I largely can make my own schedule. I am available during the week and weekends as well as holidays. I have a fenced in yard if you would like your pet to stay with me, but I am also happy to take them for walks in addition to letting them play in the backyard. I have three dogs of my own that are all very friendly and I have ways to separate dogs from each other if need be so they don’t all have to interact at the same time.
“So very thankful to leave our fur baby with a family that loved and cared for her as if she was theirs. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing all her needs were being met. When I picked her up she was happy, healthy, and now has gained a second family. Thank you sooo much.”

“Ziggy can be very anxious around new people so I'm always nervous leaving him but Kelly was great with him and with building his trust! I also loved all the photos and updates. He came back happy and tired from playing with all the dogs”

“Rubal was absolutely wonderful with Kingston! I needed a sitter for a last-minute weekend away, and she took excellent care of him. She sent daily pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was gone. Kingston was happy, well cared for, and clearly received lots of love and attention. Her son also adored him, which made me smile. I would not hesitate to book with Rubal again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive dog sitter. We will definitely be back!”

About: Hi, my name is Melinda of bark and stroll. I love animals. I have my own animal and I love taking care of animals inside my home or your home. I am retired, and I have plenty of time to take care of the animals. I love playing with them and taking them on nice walks. I have a decent sized yard. It’s not fenced in so I do walk the animals on a leash and we have some woods with paths near my house. If the dogs over 50 pounds I prefer them to be crate trained.
“Deborah is such a great sitter for our pup! She always sends lots of pics and videos and our pup is exhausted after any time spend there since she gets to run around and play so much! You should book with Deborah for your next time out of town!”

About: As a pet owner myself I know that our pets are our babies. (Lord knows I treat mine like my baby). I work from home so someone is always with your fur baby. We live about 5 minutes from Switchyard Park and like to walk the trail. Our apartment complex has a small dog park and a trail that is about half a mile long that we go on all the time. My dog is part husky so I know the importance of keeping dogs busy. We have multiple puzzles and toys ready to go. I’m very type A when it comes to my dog so you can expect the same with your pet. I’ll over communicate with you, send you photos daily, and let you know how your pup is adjusting. Safety and communication are always number one. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and baby sat for other dogs. My dog has some medical issues (a bad knee) so I’m no stranger to medication and keeping an eye out on existing injuries. If you want to meet up or see the environment your dog will be staying before hand, feel free to reach out to me! Since I work from home we take a lot of short walks through the day and I set up puzzles for them to play inside in case it’s too hot. I want to keep your dogs schedule as much as possible. A new environment for them can be stressful and if I can help ease some of that with following their schedule, I’m happy to do it! Your dog will have free range of our apartment. They’re allowed on all furniture and we have multiple dog beds in case they want their space. We have 2 crates in the house in case the dogs need to be crated and we will never have more than 2 dogs in the apartment (yours and mine only). We have a small dog park across the street of our apartment that will only be used if no other dogs are already there. Of course I will ask your preference if you’re comfortable with them going there or only walks.

“Sara was wonderful with our two cats! While we were out of town she was also extremely helpful with adjusting cameras and other misc. things we needed. 11/10 recommend!”

About: Hello! My name is Mirte (pronounced meer‑tah), and I’ve been caring for pets professionally for several years now. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and a goofy beagle named Mylo, and I adore them both like family. That same level of love, patience, and attention is what I bring to every cat I care for. Before pursuing social work I originally planned to become a veterinary technician, so my love for animals runs deep. Cats have always held a special place in my heart. Whether your kitty is shy, social, playful, or independent, I connect in a way that feels right for them. 🐈🧶 My schedule is very flexible right now since I’ve just wrapped up my internship, and I offer everything from drop‑ins to overnight stays. I always prefer meeting in person beforehand so you and your cat feel completely at ease. I’d love to connect and support you however I can; your pet’s well‑being truly matters to me.

“Sarah saved our lives! We moved to Bloomington shortly after getting married and dont know anybody in town to watch our cats who are basically our children. She really goes above and beyond.”

“Heather is great with our cats and always gives detailed updates with photos on her visits. We know the girls are always well taken care of when she takes care of them.”

About: While in college my roommate had a cat. He neglected his cat, he wouldn't change his litter box, and would spray him with a water bottle whenever he did something "naughty". I ended up cleaning the litter box. And his cat ended liking me more than him. Cats hold a special place in my heart, their goofy, curious, and sometimes sassy attitudes are endlessly entertaining. I would love the opportunity to be of service to you and your lovely kitty!
“This is the second time I've used Leah to watch my kitties, and she did great! One of my cats is diabetic and needs insulin, and she was really excellent with him and gave him insulin while I was gone! I'd definitely use her again to watch them and I'd recommend her to watch your pets.”

About: I've only had a cat for a year now, but I take care of him when my roommate needs assistance. I have fed, watered, cleaned his litter box, and played with him while she is gone. I also have learned the body language of cats. Most cats have liked me when I was growing up and I would say I am a pretty patient person, so I don't get upset if they don't initially like me either.

“Haley is wonderful and so accommodating! She met our little guy beforehand to get to know him and us better and is fantastic at communicating! We already have another visit booked soon!”

About: I’m a proud cat owner and I’d love to extend my care to your fur babies! I know firsthand how much they mean to you. I have an older cat with special health needs, so I understand how to take extra care with more challenging cat clients.
“Abby was incredibly attentive to my cat and sent frequent updates while I was away, and even took the time to ask several questions in our initial meeting to ensure all important details were communicated. My cat is VERY shy around people and yet by the end of my trip, Abby gained her affection - which speaks to how dedicated they were to genuinely caring for my cat. Definitely would recommend Abby a sitter for those that wants their pet to be taken care of like family :)”

About: I have owned cats since I was 7 years old and they are secretly my preference (shh - don't tell my dog!). I am good and gentle with cats and understand each one is unique with their likes and dislikes and how much petting (or none) they want to have. I have been pet sitting professionally for 5 years and have had a range of cat clients - large long haired ones, old ones who need medications twice daily, very friendly ones, very scaredy ones. I will take excellent care of them to your specifications and keep your home very clean. I always clean the litter box twice a day, change all water dishes once a day, refill food and wash those dishes, or anything else to your specification. I will keep you updated with your pet's status at least once a day along with photos. I am happy to play with your pet and hang out and read at your house for a bit to keep them company. I currently own a cat that I adopted recently.

“Mylo did so great at Celsei’s house. He acclimated very well and had no issues. Celsei was also very communicative and welcoming of our boy. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter in Bloomington.”

“Augie had a wonderful time with Mary Jane and family. This was the first time we left Augie with anyone; Mary Jane made us feel reassured and calm. We had a terrific get away and Augie had a great day! Thank you, Janine & Bruce”
“"Perfect" is the one word I would use for my doggie daycare interaction with Catherine! This was Maves first anything without one of use being with her. She is a highly active 7 month old puppy. Catherine was so great with her. I really felt my pupper was safe and being well taken care of. Updates of photos and text during the day and answered immediately when I wanted an additional update. Then when we got there for her second day, Mave was SUPER excited to be there again! That is when I knew this was the “Perfect” place for her to stay on daytrips or any other time I need. I will request Catherine each time I am south of Indy for vacations or one day getaway. Thank you Catherine, you made an enjoyable week even better!”

“So great!!!! Nova had the best time. Not sure she wanted to even come home!!! She played so much with nova who has so much energy. Her home was beautiful and clean and perfect for a little puppy..lol!! Great back yard! HIGHLY RECOMMEND ❤️”

“Kelly really saved me in a pinch and did exactly what I had in mind my for 2 dogs experiencing doggy daycare for the first time! I gave her a brief overview of their personalities and my expectations for the day and she provided an easy, stress-free day for me! She was also flexible with my drop off and pick up times possibly changing and was incredibly kind/understanding about me not being able to give her an idea of drop off/pick up. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: As a retired teacher, I’ve spent my life nurturing, encouraging, and caring for others, and that same patience and dedication extend to every dog I meet. I understand that pets are family, and I provide a safe, loving, and dependable environment where your furry friend can feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply a calm companion nearby, I tailor my care to their unique personality and needs. With years of experience building trust and creating positive relationships, you can have peace of mind knowing your beloved pet is receiving plenty of attention, affection, and gentle care. I look forward to treating your dog like one of my own! 🐾❤️ I am available to watch your dog for you if you need a short-term doggy daycare option or someone reliable to care for your furry family member while you’re on vacation for several days. I have a fenced-in yard and two fur babies to keep your fur baby company while you’re away. We will have regular yard playtime and potty breaks, every 2-4 hours during the day. I am also happy to come walk your dog for you if you prefer that.
“Jasmine was great. I was in town for an event and decided to let my puppy play instead of join me. I contacted Jasmine last minute and she was available! Roxie had a great time and was well cared for. I got several pictures and video up which was great for this nervous mom. Thanks so much!!!”

“Our dogs loved their time at Kelli's! She is very friendly and obviously loves dogs. Kelli provided photos and updates during the day and is really communicative. Her fenced-in back yard provides a great opportunity for the dogs to romp around. Our dogs were worn out from playing and having such a good time! I would definitely love to use Kelli again.”

“Another fun filled week for Karley at Destinees getting much needed socialization, attention and playtime. My girl is living her best life as displayed in the wonderful photos I receive after pick up. I’m so thankful she has a nice big yard to run and play in to let out that puppy energy!”

About: I own a King Charles Cavalier and a German Shepherd currently! I grew up on a farm in southern Indiana with multiple foster and adopted animals! My mother instilled a serious love and adoration for people and their favorite pets. I volunteered at our local animal shelter, was trained in multiple animal science courses, and was taught to love and respect the animals I work with, both domesticated and exotic. I have handled dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, farm livestock, petting zoo animals, and more. I love them and have tons of professional experience to give your fur-baby the best experience possible. Please feel free to message or call whenever needed and I am more then happy to accommodate ANYTHING you or your sweet pet needs. I have lots of time on my hands, currently we start our mornings with a good meal and a long walk along our neighborhood. We will head to the house for a quick nap or so that our older dogs and puppies can rest. We then head to either the local state park or a dog park for some new stimulation. When we return home, we have some free time with toys and puzzles, enjoy another good meal, take another long, walk around the neighborhood, and then cuddle on the couch or in the beds until bedtime. I don’t have a fence in yard however, we have multiple leashes here as well as one that you would prefer to use. All of our animals are continuously monitored, I work part-time, and we also have cameras in the house. Feel free to request photos or videos of your baby at any point in time.
About: I grew up with several small dogs and I currently have three, so I have experience with taking care of their needs and giving attention to multiple dogs at once! I’m available for boarding and dog sitting on weekends and weekdays. I’m home most days so my schedule is fairly open. When I'm available, I rarely leave the house for more than an hour at a time. I have a fenced in yard for your dog to safely enjoy fresh air! I also have two small crates and the ability to segment off parts of the house with baby gates if the need arises.
About: I have cared for many animals growing up, my mom and I were both adopters of all kinds of strays. But I have been loving and caring for my very own sweet girl for 9 years! We adopted our baby from the humane society at 3 months old and worked through potty training, leash training, and command training. Please allow your pet to be my outlet so I stop asking my husband for another dog 😬 I am a homeschool momma so I am home or outside adventuring most of the day. I have a nice sized yard, however, it is not fenced in so if your fur baby likes to run off from time to time we may not be a good fit. I have 3 small kiddos (and myself) who would love nothing more than to snuggle on your pup! And our Vega girl enjoys running and playing with other doggos so your pup will get plenty of love and exercise! We do have 11 chickens who stay in their coop (we do let them free range from time to time, but they will be kept in their coop while you pup stays with us). However, due to having small children and chicks we will require a meet and greet before your precious pup comes to stay with us.
“Nicole and her family are the best. We have been bringing Pearl here about a year and a half now. She was able to get me booked last minute this weekend. Like, within the hour last minute. We love having a great place to take Pearl and not have to worry about her!!”
“Kamela was fantastic with my puppy! Her and her family accepted my baby as their own and I never had to doubt her safety or well being. Will definitely be using in the future and 100% recommended ☺️”

About: Hi there! I’m an avid animal lover with a gentle, patient approach to pet care. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and my rescue beagle, Mylo: a lovable goofball who keeps me humble and well‑trained. I always look after every pet with the same attentiveness, patience, and high quality care I give my own little crew. 🐾 Before pursuing social work, I actually planned to become a veterinary technician, and that early passion for animals has stayed with me. I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries. Striving to create a calm, reassuring environment where your pet feels understood is central to my approach as a caregiver. Please reach out if you have any questions! Your pet's comfort is my priority ❤️ My schedule is currently very open as I wrap up my internship, and I’m available for daily check‑ins, walks, and overnight stays! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m always happy to connect. ❤️🐕🦺🎾 I love caring for pets where they feel safest, their home 🏡🐾. While I’m there, I carefully follow your pet’s routine and keep their space clean and comfortable, so you return to a happy, relaxed fur baby and a home that feels just as you left it (or better).

“Sara did a great job, especially on short notice. She picked up Piper on time and too her for a nice long walk - even reported how many times she peed and pooped!! Very satisfied.”

About: I have done in-house dog sitting for others, as well as had my own pet dogs growing up. I have experience with a range of breeds and sizes. I am Cat and Dog First Aid certified. I work flexible part-time jobs, so my week-to-week schedule is varied. I am open to overnight sitting or just for a few hours at a time. Reach out to me even if I am listed as unavailable as I may only be available at a certain time. For example, I volunteer at a wildlife rescue on Wednesday mornings with availability afterwards, but Rover does not allow partial day availability. I make sure to understand a pets' needs and to meet those standards, while making sure their environment is safe. Conveying those needs is important to me before actually beginning pet care. I understand pet body language and give them the space and respect they deserve.
About: I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals. We had horses, goats, chickens, cows, and of course dogs and cats. We have 2 Australian Shepherds, and a bunch of cats. I also grew up around Chihuahuas. My sister has a senior diabetic Chihuahua, so I have experience with them as well. I have a lot of experience with all sorts of animals, so I can take care of barns as well. I am currently working part-time in the early mornings, so I have plenty of afternoon time to spend with pets. I also am a full time student, but all of my work is online. I am open to any days that are needed. I have a warm and friendly approach when it comes to animals. I always think it's important to remember that accidents happen. In the end, they're animals. I love giving them all the pets and cuddles I can possibly give. It's their first time living too!!

About: Hi! I’m Michelle, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had rescue dogs and cats, and caring for them has been one of the greatest joys in my life. I’ve raised and cared for several of my own rescues. I’ve also fostered and occasionally foster failed before ultimately adopting. Through those experiences I’ve cared for pets with very different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve worked with animals ranging from tiny kittens to gentle giants like Great Pyrenees. I’m a dependable, detail-oriented person who understands that every pet has their own routine. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’ll do my best to make them feel comfortable and loved. Communication is important to me, so you can expect regular updates and photos while your pet is in my care. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is being treated like one of my own. Spending time with animals is one of my favorite parts of the week. I keep my schedule organized so I can provide reliable, dependable care. I’m available for morning and evening visits during the workweek, as well as weekends, and I’ll always communicate clearly if I have any scheduling limitations. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, especially while their family is away. In your home, I’ll follow your pet’s schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.

About: I've had dogs and cats in my home since the day I was born. I've grown up taking care of our pets, as well as pets of family and friends. I will always give your pets tons of attention and love! I'm a college student with a very flexible schedule. My dogs sleep in my room, I feed them first thing in the morning, take them out for a morning stroll and bathroom time, walk them in the afternoon, and feed and take them out at night before bed. I also play with the dogs regularly (inside and outside), give ear rubs and belly rubs, and make sure they have water always.
About: I've never worked for a company like Rover but I've watched many people's pets, mainly friends of the family. My household has two dogs and 3 cats, two of the cats are kittens. I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. We used to bread great danes so I can work well with puppies. :) I currently work part time, I work most mornings till about 10am and am free after that. I can watch animals on weekend afternoons or evenings. I would like a set schedule with someone if that works out. I have a big back yard and a very loving great dane to keep company. About: Training and caring for cats and dogs alike from a young age, I have a way with animals that is forged by trust and love. I see animals as individuals, and I believe in second chances (especially with little ones). Whether your animal is a newborn or a 15-year-old, my attention to detail is the same. Being a full-time student, I have a class schedule that is easy to work around as I schedule breaks around lunch and dinner times. Unless otherwise noted, I am free most evenings as well! Not to mention, I am a natural early riser, so maintaining your animal’s everyday schedule will be no issue. Giving them all of the love I can is crucial to our relationship and trust. Even for a walk, maintaining their normal habits is important. Whether staying at the house or not, being with the animal when they wake up (and when they go to sleep) is essential for me if watching for extended periods of time!

I’m happy to do walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, overnight stays, and giving pets lots of attention and care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from bulldogs to a mastiff and my own Australian Shepherd. I’m patient, responsible, and comfortable cleaning up accidents, following feeding schedules, giving lots of exercise, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own and keep you updated while you’re away with texts/ pictures.

“Zoë is very sweet & knowledgeable when it comes to doggies! She took such great care of my little golden and kept me informed throughout the day each day on how she was doing with messages and photos. I would highly recommend Zoë for any/all of your doggie needs! :)”

“Laura was amazing with our two Pups of Chaos. She dealt expertly with their problem behaviors, and kept us updated on how they were doing. It was hugely comforting to us know that our one very anxious pup was able to be calm with her. Would definitely recommend Laura to anyone looking for a great place for their dogs, and I know we'll be back.”
