“We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. About: I’m currently a Junior in college and I miss my dogs at home, which is what made me want to become a sitter on rover. I have two bernedoodles at home. One is 4 year old and one is 6 months old, so I’ve had experience training both of them and caring for both of them. I also walked a neighborhood golden doodle frequently in high school. Last summer I nannied a family with an adorable pitbull that I cared for in addition to the children. I also had a golden retriever growing up for 12 years. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, because growing my family always had pets. I love animals and my family can rely on me when it comes to caring for their pets. Having pets and growing up around all sorts of animals has encouraged me to expand my knowledge and kindness to help other’s when it some to taking care of their pets. I’m comfortable around all dogs and cats. When I take care of pets I dedicate my time to care for all of them and their needs. My schedule does change a lot when I go ba k to school or during the summer time as well I at the moment I have part-time availability and can house sit and walk dogs. I will also take last minute bookings on the weekdays, and cancellations. I also travel quite a lot so i apologize in advance for my opening. When it comes to taking care of dogs and other animals, I make sure to take them out on the leash and try to get in at least two walks everyday, as well play with them so they’ll sleep well later on.

When it comes to taking care of dogs and other animals, I make sure to take them out on the leash and try to get in at least two walks everyday, as well play with them so they’ll sleep well later on.
About: I grew up on a farm, surrounded by animals. We had horses, goats, chickens, cows, and of course dogs and cats. We have 2 Australian Shepherds, and a bunch of cats. I also grew up around Chihuahuas. My sister has a senior diabetic Chihuahua, so I have experience with them as well. I have a lot of experience with all sorts of animals, so I can take care of barns as well. I am currently working part-time in the early mornings, so I have plenty of afternoon time to spend with pets. I also am a full time student, but all of my work is online. About: I have been taking care of dogs and other animals ever since 2018. People have trusted me with their animals and there is no changing that. I will always be the first to help if in need of walking or sitting. I am currently in school at Indiana University and have another serving job at Texas Roadhouse. I like small dogs but big dogs are my absolute favorite. I personally have a great dane who is a dork and I love him so much. About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. I have always had at least one cat, and had dogs for 17 years of my life. I have also taken care of family and friends’ pets while they are out of town plenty of times. I am available all day every day for any kind of pet needs, and I can house cats overnight, however, I am unable to house dogs overnight. I am within walking distance of a dog park, and can bring animals inside or outside, whichever their needs are. I can also keep and transfer pets inside crates as needed.

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and I’ve pretty much taken care of them my whole life, whether they were my own or someone else’s. I started volunteering with my local humane society when i was 10 years old. Other than school, my part time job is caring for 8 horses and 4 cats. “We dropped our dogs on our way out of town Thursday morning and returned for them Sunday evening. I appreciated Destinee's flexibility with our pick-up time (I had initially booked for the following morning but it made more sense for us to pick them up on our way through as we were heading south to Bloomington - our timing was a bit later than she would have preferred but she graciously worked with us). We received photos of the dogs both inside the house and outside in the backyard on the first three days of care, and a written description of how they were doing on the first day. The home and yard seemed nice and I really appreciated not needing to bring bowls/ beds/ extra items as she provides everything. The only tips I would have for a better "pet parent" experience would be to be more consistent with writing about how each day went, and possibly showing off some of the house/yard upon drop off. Since we don't live close by, a meet and greet or advance tour wouldn't have made sense for us anyway. I feel like our dogs were in good hands with Destinee and her husband. About: I’m currently a Junior in college and I miss my dogs at home, which is what made me want to become a sitter on rover. I have two bernedoodles at home. One is 4 year old and one is 6 months old, so I’ve had experience training both of them and caring for both of them. I also walked a neighborhood golden doodle frequently in high school. Last summer I nannied a family with an adorable pitbull that I cared for in addition to the children. I also had a golden retriever growing up for 12 years. I love all ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I have a summer class from 9-12 every morning, but other than that I can be home all day. I spend most of my time studying at home, but love to go for walks as study breaks and I live a very active lifestyle, which dogs would fit into perfectly. I also love being outdoors and I live alone so I’d love the company of a furry friend. It really depends on the client and how they want me to care for their pet. I want to do as much as I can to make their dogs feel at home and at ease. I’ve seen how hard it is for my own dogs back at home to adjust to a new environment, so I want to provide a healthy environment for other people’s dogs.
