About: I have great experience with all types of animals in all ranges of age and necessities. I have worked at a barn as well as volunteer at my local animal shelter. I also grew up fostering puppies and kittens as young as days old. I have multiple pets of my own and they are my whole world, I treat any animal with the same level of respect. I work part time but my schedule is very flexible with an enough time in advance. I am free pretty much all day on weekends and most consistently after 3 on weekdays. However my schedule does shift and I am an early riser so I can make most other times work. I currently do not offer home services in my personal house. At a clients home I will listen to whatever instructions are given and keep everything as similar as possible for overnight and drop-in visits to help keep stress levels down for your animal.

About: I have had all types of animals growing up, and I also grew up with 3 younger brothers and they are an animal in itself!! I work 7-3 and I have all the time in the world after work to hangout with animals! I enjoys afternoon walks and will be down for any weather. I also enjoy weekend walks. I am neat and tidy, I will care for your animal in my best capacity to do so. I do not have any animals in my apartment currently but I can care for them in your home!

With 35 years of experience as a pet care provider and over 20 years in rescue, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to every pet I care for. My commitment to animal welfare includes over twenty years volunteering for a local rescue organization, as well as six years on the board where I'm currently serving as President. Having recently retired, I now devote all my time to my one true love—pets. I'm a foster failure many times over and I'm looking forward to spending my days with my pups. My extensive experience includes special needs care, managing diet and allergy restrictions, light physical therapy, basic pet CPR and first aid, senior care and administering medications. I'm well versed in animal behaviors and speak their language. I know what they want to do and what they don't want to do with just about any pet I come in contact with. Whether your pet needs a walk, a visit, a sample delivered to the vet, transportation to vet/medical appointments, grooming services, or a comforting home away from home while you're away, I've got you covered. I offer overnight boarding (longer stays available) for vaccinated and friendly pets in my home, along with check-ins and walking services. I have a grooming room in my home to provide a full service spa day for your pet, ensuring they feel pampered and loved, and look like a million bucks when you return. It can be one of the hardest things we do, leaving our pets. Having someone you trust and your pets love can make or break your travel plans, or your decision to add a pet to a working family. I'm available almost any day/time, with some notice. While a booking is preferred, I can usually accommodate last minute requests (at least an hour or two notice). If I cannot, I can refer you to another trusted pet care giver. I have over an acre of property with a fenced in yard. Quiet cul-de-sac in village area. No thru vehicle traffic, light foot traffic. I have four rescue pugs who can't wait to meet their next best friend. They love play dates with other pets, I'm in rescue and frequently host meetups, transport drops and foster, so there are always furry friends for play time. However, if your pet is a little less energy and enjoys nap time and quiet, I can easily accommodate that as well. Take away, your pet will be safe, secure, loved, pet and very well cared for. They'll ask you when they can come back!

About: I have years of experience taking care of my dog who is dog reactive, extremely energetic, occasionally resource guards, etc. I also have experienced going through professional training with said dog. I also have experience taking care of my senior medical needs cat. My schedule is very flexible. I have to give my own cat her medication each morning and night, however that is my only schedule perimeter. I am available most days of the week and weekend except for a select couple weekends this summer. My availability ends mid August. I care for the animals I am in charge of with acute attention. These pets are peoples loved ones, their furry children, and I don’t take that lightly. They deserve love, attention, engagement, and a safe environment for them to succeed in.

About: I have 9+ years of experience with walking dogs, and years of experience in feeding, training, playing, and caring for both dogs and cats. My entire life I have always been drawn to animals, and am a huge animal lover! In my early teen years, I worked at a dog daycare where I oversaw the care of up to 14 dogs at one time. It was a huge responsibility, but I looked forward to going to work each shift I had because to me it didn’t even feel like work, it felt like a reward getting to care and play with so many animals. Whenever I go anywhere whether it’s a walk around my college campus, a family or friends house, or the park, I am always immediately drawn to all the dogs I see and always ask if I can take a minute to pet each dog. A multitude of family and friends have consistently told me that it’s evident how much I love animals, and how well I get along with them. I am someone you can trust to make sure your pet gets the best possible care when you are gone. As a former cat owner and current dog owner myself, I know just how much love and care pets need on a day to day basis. Whenever I am away from my dog who is my bestfriend in the whole world, I definitely can feel anxious or stressed. I am dedicated to keeping pet parents up to date on the wellbeing of your pets with photos, videos, up to date messages and anything else you’d like as a pet parent (I am happy to do facetime calls too!!). I will always be available and reachable when I am with your pet to answer any questions, concerns, or even just send over some extra photos if you are really missing your furry companion! Additionally, your pets wellbeing and safety is my top priority. I have worked hard to familiarize myself with signs of distress and discomfort in animals, and if anything doesn’t look right I will not hesitate to jump into action to make sure your pet is safe. My dog has had a few scary incidents, and as difficult as it was, it helped to prepare me to know the signs when something is not right and know what to do in case of an emergency. I decided to join rover because I wanted the opportunity to help take care and hangout with animals on a regular basis because it is truly something I absolutely love. About: Need extra attention for your fur babies? I not only feed/walk your pets, I read or sing to them after meals/exercise. I spend the time needed to ensure their comfort while you are away. I love both dogs and cats. I grew up with Dachshunds, St.Bernards, Beagles and an Airdale Terrors (not all at one time!). I've also had cats through the years. I have 2 now (lost one in June, 16 years old). All of my cats have been indoor and spoiled rotten! I have helped owners who have been hospitalized, vacationing and working to ensure their furry friends are safe and happy. Rest assured...your pet will be well taken care of. ❤. Why did I decide to do this? When I've traveled, it's been difficult finding reliable sitters or drop in visits. I can assure you, there will be no worrying about your furry family member(s). At your home, your furry family members will be well taken care of. They will receive lots of love and attention. Be sure to instruct me about any special needs. you will receive updates when taking care of your pets. I can do early drop-in visits (7-9 a.m.) and afternoon/ evening hours. I have no restrictions on weekends. I can be fairly flexible because I work out of my home. I can only offer services in your home. Your pooch or kitty will get lots of hugs and kisses. I will treat yours as I do mine.

About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 2 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. But I can do all the care you need me to do at your house.

About: In addition to dogs and cats, I love and have cared for many animals my entire life. I grew up caring for the family cat, dog sitting for friends and family, and working for the Prospect Park Zoo in NYC. As an adult I've volunteered for multiple animal shelters, and now care for my own baby Tortoise. As someone with a pet myself, I know how important it is that your sitter adores and respects your animals' needs. I prioritize your animal's health, safety, and happiness! I am a graduate student, giving me a pretty flexible schedule! I am typically completely free Thursday through Sunday. Drop off visits are possible Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, especially in the mornings or later at night. Making sure pets get the attention they need is a top priority for me. Being a student, writer, and researcher, I work mostly at home. This allows me to spend additional time hanging out with those pets that enjoy some human company. I also love hiking, walking, and spending time outdoors. So if your pup needs to get some energy out in the woods, I'll be more than happy to be their guide! I can house small pets for a night or two - I live in a ~700 square foot apartment with a balcony and ample access to the outdoors. But someone cannot always be home, so cats and independent small dogs are preferred.
