“This is the second time Nyasia has sat for my dogs and she’s just amazing. Good communication, leaves the house spotless, and takes great care of the fur babies.”

“Alex did a great job with Chip while I was out of town. It was clear he gave Chip lots of attention and gave him plenty of exercise. Alex was also very communicative and provided great updates!”

“Patrick was amazing! He was so kind and responsive to my cats and my dog! He sent my partner and I lots of updates and communicated with us. I would 100% books again!”

“Heather was wonderful to have stay with our girls while we were out of the country. One needs a bit more care now and we worried about leaving her. However, Heather had no problem providing them with everything they needed while we were away. She was great with communication and our house was just as we left it.”

“Merissa and Nick are stand outs! They took such great care of Comet; he can’t wait for them to come back and doggie-sit again! They are super responsive, great about sending updates/photos, and go above and beyond to make your dog comfortable and loved while you’re away! Comet had an injury at the time and, not only did they give him his medicine but also some doggie massages as a bonus! Highly recommend :)”

“Barbara was really caring and attentive to our puppy! She made sure to understand our puppy’s needs before meeting her and went above and beyond to make sure that we felt comfortable with our puppy in her care!”

“Nastasha is excellent. She house-sat for my two large (70lb each,) high-energy dogs and indoor cat for 6 nights while we were away on vacation. Her communication was fast and clear and we came back to happy and settled pups. She sent photos and videos that gave us a lot of peace of mind. We also live in the country a bit and Natasha did great with all that accompanies that. Highly reccomend!”

“Bradley was the perfect pet sitter. He was communicative and responsive and treated my home with respect. He sent frequent updates and pictures of my cat. He even helped out when the cat went missing unexpectedly, offering to look for him and lending a cat carrier. I will be using Bradley again for sure and I recommend you use him for your pet needs too!”

“Shantalee did such an amazing job for us, I would define recommend her to family and friends. She was very respectful, responsible and caring to our pup. Thanks Shantalee!”

“I have two cats that are very picky about who they will be around and I selected Eydid because their profile shows how passionate they are with cats. It was my first time using Rover or any sitter and I was definitely anxious about it. Eydid is amazing - he took the time to get to know my cats, sit with them, and play with them. They love Eydid and that says a lot! Eydid was very respectful of my home and provided me with great updates and pics & videos of the cats having fun. 10/10 would select again. In fact I already have booked Eydid for another session when I am traveling out of the country :D”

“The best sitter we’ve ever had, highly recommended! Jessica did a great job house sitting with our dogs while we were away, she sent pics and communicated really well. We could tell our pups were well taken care of!”

About: I’ve done overnight and day visits with dogs and cats for years and do multiple days during the week now for a family member. I work well with large and small dogs. I am available Monday through Friday and have a very flexible class schedule so can easily fit in a visit with your pup! I am available for overnights every night as well! I have babysat for people who have both fenced and non fenced yards so I can easily work with leash using dogs. I myself have much experience with stubborn and large dogs on leashes so can handle tough pups!
About: I've been a dog lover since childhood and had my own dachshund Charlie for 9 years. I've watched big and small dogs for friends and neighbors, frequented dog parks, and walked dogs through sweltering heat and snow banks. I am a freelance graphic designer hoping to pick up some extra work. My availability is flexible and I can work to accommodate you especially on long term bookings. I have experience working in clients' homes for estate sales and will respect your space and belongings. I will put your pet's safety and health first and look out for anything that may compromise that while under my care.
“Kevin did a fantastic job house sitting with Igloo for the day! He even went out of his way to come meet Igloo a couple days before so that she would be comfortable staying with a new person in the house. He kept us updated with photos during the day. It was great being able to have the day to ourselves and not worry - we would definitely have him back again!”

“We traveled with peace of mind knowing our dog and house were in good hands with Josie! Our dog warmed up to her right away and we got plenty of pictures throughout the stay. Highly recommend for a trusted sitter!”

About: While I’ve never had my own dog, I have many dogs in my life who I adore, and who adore me. Dogs always approach me in public because they can sense how much I love them! I’ll love your pup as if it’s my own! I'm a PA student and my schedule is different everyday. If you request something a week in advance, I should be able to arrange something! Whether your pup just needs a buddy to hang out with or needs to be fed/walked, I’m in! I’m respectful of your space and can do whatever you need, as long as detailed instructions are left for me. I will go above and beyond to care for your pet as if it’s my own.

“Steven is great! He’s friendly and our dogs couldn’t have been happier and more well taken care of when we got home. He was quick to take our sitting job in a pinch and we look forward to having him hang with our dogs again in the future!”

“Kenda helped us out with a last minute sitting. We came home to a happy pup which is the most important thing. She was communicative and sent picture updates which I greatly appreciate. I would definitely feel comfortable recommending her and using her services again.”

“Jenna & Aidan must have done an excellent job taking care of my cat as she didn't yell at me for hours upon my return home!! She was as happy as could be. J&A were very responsive, and timely. I appreciated their willingness to meet up a head of time to see the lay of the land. I would use them again in a heart beat.”

“Thank you Kenedy for watching our three dogs while we were away! Kenedy was amazing with the dogs. She was also so respectful of our home. She washed the dog food bowls before leaving! I previously did not have a good experience with Rover, but Kenedy has changed my mind and I’m super glad to have this positive experience! Thank you!!!!”

New Scotland pet parents share their Rover experiences
We're so glad to find Merissa & Nick to pet & house sit for us! They are responsible, trustworthy and took great care of our furry buddy, who can be a handful & reactive sometimes. They gave him meds, walked and played with him and kept in communication with us so no worrying on my part. Last, the house looks like no one was here. (They even took the trash out.) We will use them as our go-to sitters and walkers and highly recommend them to others.
Alex was an incredible sitter! He stayed with our dogs for a few days while we were out of town. He took great care of them, going above and beyond by bringing additional feeding tools and toys he thought would work well for them (thank you for introducing Oslo to a slow feeder!). He was very attentive to their needs, sent photos often, and provided frequent updates via text. Thank you so much Alex! We can't recommend him highly enough!

Ashley was great with our 1 year old GSD puppy! She stayed overnight at our house with our puppy and two cats. She sent pictures of her overnight stay for our peace of mind as well. She was very responsible and professional. My husband and I will 100% request her services in the future!

Clyanna is the best. She always takes care of our cat, Eugene, so well and I come back to a clean apartment and super happy cat. On a personal note, she is also really easy to communicate with and is just an all around sweet and kind person. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

We couldn't be happier with our decision of booking with Myia. We were gone for 11 days and didn't really want to kennel our super anxious chiweenie Fred for that long, so we decided to try the housesitting option through Rover. Myia did an amazing job keeping an eye on our apartment as well as taking care of the forementioned Fred. I know that really helped him as opposed to being kenneled by himself for almost 2 weeks. We highly recommend Myia, and will be looking to her for assistance again in the (very near) future.
