“Chelsea is amazing!! She is very attentive and detailed oriented. Chelsea has a really good read on dog behavior and body language. She keeps me in the loop during each visit.”

“Alyssa took great care of our cats, Misty & Fae over the Labor Day weekend. Misty requires prescription wet food and 2 medications (opened capsule & measured liquid) added to her food. Alyssa came for a meet & greet visit during the week before the weekend so she could meet the girls, see their environment & understand their food schedule & medication dosing schedule for Misty. She came for morning & evening feedings & sent us pictures from each visit. We knew they were in good hands while we were away. We will definitely call on her again! We highly recommend Alyssa!! Misty ? & Fae ? do too!”

About: Hi, I’m Olivia! I’ve loved animals since I was a child and have spent years caring for both my own dogs and the pets of family and friends. I began my pet care career as a groomer, where I gained experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. Whether your dog needs someone gentle and patient or an energetic companion for long walks, runs, and playtime, I’m here to help. I have experience caring for dogs with special needs, including those with health conditions such as seizures, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being. My yard is equipped with 2 acres with creeks and waterfalls running through, I will make sure to keep your pup is fulfilled. I’ve also trained my own dogs in basic obedience, including commands like sit, stay, and heel, and I’m happy to reinforce your dog’s training during our time together. Your pet will be treated like family while they’re in my care. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy until you’re back home! I’m currently unemployed so I will have all the time in the world to play with your babies. Play time is full time around here! I have lots of toys and fun activities to keep your dog happy and engaged. Whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch, or simply providing companionship, I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every dog like family and strive to provide a fun, caring, and stress free experience.
About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. Rest assured, I’ll never discriminate against your furry pal! I have experience giving oral medication, both liquid and pill, as well as insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. As mentioned prior, I have extensive prior experience volunteering at various shelters, vets and farms assisting with animal care, as well as my own personal experience caring for a diverse array of pets. I am happy to gather recommendations from organizations I work with. While caring for your pet or pets, I will regularly keep in contact with you and update you with both text and photos (if desired), along with keeping a dedicated spreadsheet of feeding/watering/grooming times and overall health to guarantee your peace of mind. I am capable of providing pet care across a flexible schedule. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. I am able to care for pets in a wide variety of ways thanks to expensive experience. Walking, feeding, litter-box cleaning, playtime, as well as insulin/subcutaneous fluid injections are all possible. I can also administer medication orally. Daily checkups as well as overnight stays are both possible.
“Simply great! Great pictures, great walks, great communication and pictures. Bridget loves them. Have used numerous times and every time the service is excellent.”

“Kaylee is the best with our kitten and pup. Cats are picky creatures, yet June crawls all over her when she visits. We're comforted to know they are taken care of when we're away.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - New Freedom
Kaylee was absolutely wonderful with my two cats! From the moment we met I knew they were in great hands. Kaylee regularly sent photos and updates while I was away. She followed all details and instructions and went the extra step to clean up any accidents or litter my girls left behind! I came home to two happy and relaxed cats (that clearly missed her). I couldn’t ask for a better sitter and will definitely be booking again in the future. I highly recommend her to anyone with beloved pets she treats them like her own!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
