It was a great first experience leaving my pup with someone not family. They always make sure someone is home with the pups and sent lots of updates. About: I grew up around cats, I’ve never had a year in my family without a cat around! I love them so much, they are absolutely my favorite animal. I have experience in feeding, cleaning, special routines and even midnight zoomies. I’ve owned kittens to elderly cats, and my current baby is just over 1 year old! I’ve never met a cat I didn’t love, even the temperamental ones.
“Caleb and Juliana are absolutely great! They were incredibly courteous, timely, and caring for our pets; will most certainly use them again for future pet sitting.”

About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. Rest assured, I’ll never discriminate against your furry pal! I have experience giving oral medication, both liquid and pill, as well as insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. As mentioned prior, I have extensive prior experience volunteering at various shelters, vets and farms assisting with animal care, as well as my own personal experience caring for a diverse array of pets. I am happy to gather recommendations from organizations I work with. While caring for your pet or pets, I will regularly keep in contact with you and update you with both text and photos (if desired), along with keeping a dedicated spreadsheet of feeding/watering/grooming times and overall health to guarantee your peace of mind. I am capable of providing pet care across a flexible schedule. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. I am able to care for pets in a wide variety of ways thanks to expensive experience. Walking, feeding, litter-box cleaning, playtime, as well as insulin/subcutaneous fluid injections are all possible. I can also administer medication orally. Daily checkups as well as overnight stays are both possible.
“Isabelle did a wonderful job taking care of my cat while we were away. She was happy and no signs of anxiety which tells me she was well taken care of. No doubt that I would use Isabelle again!”

“Louis really treated our pets like his own. One day he couldn’t find cork (1 of the cats on medication) and he came back later on the day because he was worried about her. We haven’t ever had such good care taken with our furry children while we were away and it really helped us enjoy our vacation. We will continue to use Louis for as long as he is willing to take care of our crazy household of pets. Thank you Louis so very much!”

“Alyssa took great care of our cats, Misty & Fae over the Labor Day weekend. Misty requires prescription wet food and 2 medications (opened capsule & measured liquid) added to her food. Alyssa came for a meet & greet visit during the week before the weekend so she could meet the girls, see their environment & understand their food schedule & medication dosing schedule for Misty. She came for morning & evening feedings & sent us pictures from each visit. We knew they were in good hands while we were away. We will definitely call on her again! We highly recommend Alyssa!! Misty ? & Fae ? do too!”

About: Hello! my name is Vanessa. I have been a dog/pet sitter for over 15 years now. I have experience with animals ranging from dogs (especially), cats, small animals, and horses. I am also a certified groomer, and have been working as a groomer for 12 years now, so I have plenty of safety training as well for handling animals. I absolutely love caring for animals and making them feel safe and comfortable, and I know how important it is to leave your animal in the care of someone you can trust. I currently live on a farm with ability to care for dogs in my home, but I do prefer doing in home overnights or daycare at the client's house, due to my own dogs and horses. I am willing to provide most services including daily care, walking (or running), overnights, etc. I also have experience caring for dogs with special needs and elderly dogs as well. I understand the responsibility that I undertake when I am trusted to take care of another person's pet, and I will always do the absolute most to make sure I am providing the best care possible. Taking care of animals gives me so much joy, and I would love to be able to provide you with a great service! I own my own grooming salon, Pretty Boy Grooming, which is located in my home so I am home most of the time and since I make my own schedule, my scheduling ability is very flexible to be able to provide the best possible care! In my own home, dogs will always be on a leash when outside and separated from my own dogs unless requested by the client, making sure that any potentially hazardous objects are put away (foods, plants, etc.). In the clients home, making sure that the area is secure and following the requests and rules of the client in their home.

“Kaylee is amazing. Thank you, Kaylee! I felt so reassured knowing my mom's dachshund was receiving excellent care while we were away. Remi loved Kaylee too. I can't wait until I need Kaylee again. It's so nice to know someone is there to bail me out when I get the responsibility of pet sitting myself. Kaylee minded all the instructions for this old dog and her issue-laden back. You will be so happy that you picked Kaylee to snuggle your beloved pets.”

“Caleb is personable, friendly, and energetic enough to keep up with our lively puppy. Stella would always return her walks with Caleb happy, joyful, and yet ready for a nice puppy nap. Caleb even took the extra step to come over for an introductory visit to meet Stella, get acquainted, and talk us through any concerns/answer questions. Highly recommend using Caleb & Julianna.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs for most of my life, and have done some dogsitting and dog walking before. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! Our pets deserve the best after all! :) I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of time for any pet care. “Lauren & Doug are the BEST! They gave my puppy all the love & care as if he was part of the family. This was my first time needing a dog sitter and using Rover. I would HIGHLY recommend Lauren. She sends the perfect amount of photos & videos throughout each day. I knew that my pup was having a great time!”

“Melanie and her family were amazing… Daisy is exhausted from all of the fun that she had. She was kind, and sent pictures and made Daisy feel like family. We are so appreciative.”

“Thank you so much for having Roxie while we were away! I felt 100 % comfortable leaving her behind, which allowed me to relax and enjoy my family during our trip. Roxie came home and went about her normal life. Boarding would have left her anxious for at least a few days. Thanks again for everything; especially peace of mind :)”

“Lisa is absolutely amazing!!! The daily photos and updates are great! My pup was pampered so much that I was worried she wouldn't want to come home! Lol! You couldn't ask for a better person to take care of your furbaby.”

“We had the best experience with Rodney. He was very patient with Emma. She definitely warmed up to him. Unfortunately had to be late for pick up d/t airport delays - was not a problem. We would definitely use Rodney's help again.”

“This was our first time using Rover service ever. So still very new to the experience. It seems like everything went well and we are glad Jenny took good care of our dog 🐶”
