About: I’ve grown up with dogs for most of my life, and have done some dogsitting and dog walking before. I’ll admit it’s been a bit since I had to focus on school work for my psych degree, but now that I have to wait till fall for grad school, I figured now is the time to help out some furry friends! I’m an animal lover at heart and am not only interested in, but willing to help with any accommodations! Our pets deserve the best after all! :) I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I have plenty of time for any pet care. I tend to be more of a night owl so I can help cats when they’re more active at night. I tend to work best with detailed instructions. About: As a college student studying Zoology, animals and their care are more than a side hustle or a hobby: they’re my world. Apart from my academic coursework in animal care and welfare, I have more than eight years of personal care and volunteer experience with numerous animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, horses, rats and mice, hamsters, snakes, various types of lizards and amphibians, goats, chickens, sheep, cattle, and even invertebrates such as tarantulas and scorpions. Rest assured, I’ll never discriminate against your furry pal! I have experience giving oral medication, both liquid and pill, as well as insulin injections and subcutaneous fluids. I also have experience caring for elderly animals — like my 18 year old cat, Maya! I can provide feeding, brushing, hoof care, walking, exercise, medication, play time, turning out, litterbox cleaning and much more! I have a driver’s license and my own transportation, and my hours and pay are flexible. I am willing to drive 60-90 minutes depending on needs. As mentioned prior, I have extensive prior experience volunteering at various shelters, vets and farms assisting with animal care, as well as my own personal experience caring for a diverse array of pets. I am happy to gather recommendations from organizations I work with. While caring for your pet or pets, I will regularly keep in contact with you and update you with both text and photos (if desired), along with keeping a dedicated spreadsheet of feeding/watering/grooming times and overall health to guarantee your peace of mind. I am capable of providing pet care across a flexible schedule. I can provide early care from 6-9 AM in the morning and any time after 4:20 PM on weekdays, as well as 24 hour care on weekends and overnight stays if needed. I am able to care for pets in a wide variety of ways thanks to expensive experience. Walking, feeding, litter-box cleaning, playtime, as well as insulin/subcutaneous fluid injections are all possible. I can also administer medication orally. Daily checkups as well as overnight stays are both possible.

I’ve also dog sat relatives dogs and absolutely love to take them on walks, give baths, and keep them company I’m happy to stay as long as preferred while animal sitting! If any pets need a little extra care like consistent walks, I can take care of them Having a handicapped cat, i’m able to work with animals who may need extra assistance in meals, medical care, and walks. About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life. I grew up with a German Shorthair Pointer as a family dog, so high energy is nothing new to me. I have senior dog experience that includes medication administration (including oral, topical, and injectables), palliative care, and hospice care. I have worked with dogs that do not have the use of their back legs, and dogs who have to wear diapers and need assistance using the restroom. I am a high school senior with early release. I can be out of school as soon as 11:15 to care for your pet. I do not have a fenced yard. I love to play with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I will walk whatever animal that you need, I am also able to take them on hikes if that is something there is interest in. I often care for farm animals including horses and cows, so I am available to care for them as well.

I worked at a pet store a few years ago which gave me experience with cat adoptions, caring for exotic animals, and customer experience.
