About: Hey, I'm Baylee! I'm currently a substitute teacher looking to make some money for the summer with petsitting. I'm new to Rover, so thank you for bearing with me as I figure out my rates and availability :) I grew up in the White Lake area and moved back last year after living in North Carolina for several years. During my first year away from home, I worked as a petsitter at Lakeside Paws in Mooresville, NC for about half a year. Since then, I have occasionally petsat and/or housesat for family, friends, or any connections through them. I have experience with walking, housesitting, and boarding dogs, and caretaking for cats. I also have experience taking care of birds and rodents and am open to caring for reptiles as well. Please let me know if you have any questions for me! I work as a substitute teacher almost full time until June, so I am currently open after school hours during the week (3pm-8pm), but will have more availability during the summer. I unfortunately cannot provide boarding at this time, but I am highly adaptable to new environments to best accommodate your pet's needs for visits or overnights in your space.

About: I’ve almost always had a pet whether it was a cat, kitten, puppy, family dog, or fish. I enjoyed taking care of the neighborhoods pets growing up as well as house sitting for them. When I was bored I used to ask the neighbors if I could walk their dogs just to get outside! I love animals in all shapes and sizes. Currently I work full time from home. I have a pretty flexible schedule for when I can take a lunch break or leave the house for an extended amount of time. Come March I will be self employed and will have open availability! There is no fence around our home, ideally outside time will be on a leash or long lead rope for running. We can do long walks down the road, a quick car ride to the beach, or walk in the state land across the street from my home. For cats we have lots of climbing structures and even some shelves built into the wall. Many toys and much love to go around

About: I have owned dogs, cats, and other pets my whole life. I also volunteered at a Humane Society for 2 years across the state before i moved. I cared for cats, dogs, and bunnies during my time there. Cannot imagine life with out a furry friend. I am CPR & AED certified by American Red Cross and I have received training on pet friendly CPR and Heimlich maneuver. Emergencies can happen to any one at any time and as one of the First Female Eagle Scouts in the United States, I strive to always be prepared. I am interning locally to finish my degree and not over working myself at this time as I figure out where my career will take me. I have plenty of time and energy to help support you in your pet care. I have an amazing doggy at home. She is very friendly but I will primarily working with pets who like to walk around their local spaces, travel to dog parks, or be a home body so that they are most comfortable and safe in their familiar environment.

Pet care is something I fit in every day! Whether it’s morning walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I make sure each pet gets the attention they need. I make sure they’re fed, walked, played with, and of course, given plenty of love and attention—just like you would!

“Took great care of my cat while I was on vacation! Sent pictures of her daily visits and I could tell that my not always so friendly cat was really enjoying her visits. Will definitely book again!”

“Lisa does regular drop in visits on my cat while I'm traveling for work. I do have indoor cameras so will catch clips here and there of Lisa's visits if I check after work. I schedule hour visits so that my cat has someone to be around, and from the clips I see, my cat just loves having Lisa around. When Lisa leaves, my cat meows for her to come back, and she's a pretty independent cat! Lisa has also done little things like retrieve outdoor cushions that blow off the porch or change out wet food food dishes. I hadn't used Rover before Lisa, so I'm glad I ended up with someone reliable, easy to communicate with, and who my cat loves the first time around!”

She feeds them and cleans up after them. She has checked the house and cleaned up some messes left by other pet sitters. She adores my fur babies and they love her. I highly recommend Kira to care for other fur babies for their owners.”
