“Lisa does regular drop in visits on my cat while I'm traveling for work. I do have indoor cameras so will catch clips here and there of Lisa's visits if I check after work. I schedule hour visits so that my cat has someone to be around, and from the clips I see, my cat just loves having Lisa around. When Lisa leaves, my cat meows for her to come back, and she's a pretty independent cat! Lisa has also done little things like retrieve outdoor cushions that blow off the porch or change out wet food food dishes. I hadn't used Rover before Lisa, so I'm glad I ended up with someone reliable, easy to communicate with, and who my cat loves the first time around!”
2. Kate M.
“We were very glad to find Kate to drop in on our kitty while we were away. She was very helpful when we had to change plans due to death in our family. Kate arrived when requested, made sure Carmie was well taken care of, and sent us a picture. We will use her again the next time we need a cat sitter.”

We would love to have her watch our dogs for us again anytime.”

7. Auston & John M.
“Auston owned and operated a successful dog day care in Grandville Michigan. Our dog Gus was under her daily care for 2 years. In the two years, Gus was cared for, trained, played with, nurtured, socialized and most importantly loved on. We lovingly called her Auntie Auston as Gus would bounce with excitement getting dropped off at day care. Auston is kind, gentle, and so incredibly knowledgeable on all things dog. Auston is a responsible and loving pet caregiver.”
8. Eryn M.

About: I've taken care of animals from dogs to bunnies since I was in kindergarten (I have had so many of my own, and I love animals soooo much), I used to work at a dog boarding, daycare, and grooming facility so I definitely know the process of taking care of all sorts of breeds of dogs, all kinds of ages, and with all sorts of problems. I'm also currently enrolled in veterinary tech at baker college, so I know a few things about simple medical care! I'm looking for something that is more flexible that I can do throughout the week after my classes, or on the weekend to fit in with my busy schedule. I'm hoping pet care can fit around it! I don't have a fenced in yard sadly, but I do live back in the woods, which is almost like a fence. Potty breaks would always be supervised and leashed if requested. I live on a long dirt driveway and road with very little traffic which is good for walks! I also have a couple trails right on the side of my house! I have a pup, his name is Kyle. He's under a year still, super friendly, full of energy, and loves to play, so if your pup needs a friend he is definitely willing!

About: I've volunteered at my local animal shelter for 8+ years. I've helped my friend take care of several litters of her puppies. I have experience walking, feeding, bathing and training dogs. I'm currently working full time but have flexible days and hours to allow time to check in on pets and walk/feed them. I work normal 8-4:30 hours. If clients have fenced in yard, I will be out with the pet to interact and play with them. Making sure I'm aware and careful with animals that aren't allowed outside when going in and out of houses. Making sure appropriate collars/leashes are in tact when taking walks.

About: I have owned dogs, cats, and other pets my whole life. I also volunteered at a Humane Society for 2 years across the state before i moved. I cared for cats, dogs, and bunnies during my time there. Cannot imagine life with out a furry friend. I am CPR & AED certified by American Red Cross and I have received training on pet friendly CPR and Heimlich maneuver. Emergencies can happen to any one at any time and as one of the First Female Eagle Scouts in the United States, I strive to always be prepared. I am interning locally to finish my degree and not over working myself at this time as I figure out where my career will take me. I have plenty of time and energy to help support you in your pet care. I have an amazing doggy at home. She is very friendly but I will primarily working with pets who like to walk around their local spaces, travel to dog parks, or be a home body so that they are most comfortable and safe in their familiar environment.

17. Rachael M.
“I first met Rachel through mutual friends, and from the very beginning I recognized Rachel's natural born connection with animals. As I got to know her better I realized it wasn't only her horses and dogs, but even in her care and selection of eggs to incubate! As a professional dog trainer and small farm owner myself, I have major insecurities about leaving home for even one night. When I found out that Rachel "farm sits" AND she was available, all of my prayers were answered!”
