“Kiana was amazing She make sure she sent lot of updates along with pictures! Kiana understood how hard is was for me to leave my baby for the first time and keep me at ease! She is definitely part of the family now! Anytime I have to travel I know he'll be okay with his now "Auntie" ...lol”

“Rebecca is amazing with dogs. My izzi had never been away from home or around other dogs. She introduced her slowly to the others and she ended up making several friends over the long weekend. She was so happy to see us, but she was having so much fun, I don't think she really wanted to leave. I would highly recommend Rebecca for anyone who needs a loving second home foe their fir babies. I will definitely use her again.”

“Beth is amazing! Her home was perfect for our high energy dogs, and they really enjoyed playing with her dog as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to trust my fur babies with. Thank you, Beth!”

“Christopher was our first pet sitter and he exceeded all of our expectations. He kept our puppy busy and happy while we were away. We also got updates and photos practically daily which was so encouraging! We couldn’t have had a better experience.”

“We were pleased with our dog, Callie's stay with Alex and Nicolas. They walked her numerous times and sent us many photos so that we knew she was doing well. We had a great peace of mind while we had to be away. I would recommend highly!”

“We learned about Rover though a relative and are very glad we did. We have used various other boarding services over the past few years for Sophie. They all have their particular strengths and weaknesses but the personal service provided through Rover is the best option right now. This is Sophie's second stay with Patty and we are very happy with her service. Sophie gets along and plays well with Patty's two dogs. This takes care of two things: Sophie gets a playmate and burns off some energy. Another advantage is that it is much more relaxing and less stressful for her to be in a home environment. Patty sends out photos and updates as well which not only show that Sophie is enjoying herself, but making herself right at home. So all around a good fit for us which we will be using again. Sophie is in good hands when she stays with Patty.”
“Michelle was exceptional. We were in a last minute bind and found Michelle on Rover and Michelle’s Muddy Paws LLC. She provided exceptional care for our 5 yr old Springer Spaniel, Scarlett. Scarlett enjoyed her daily walks in the woods, the special TLC of the fam, and the comfort of having such awesome doggies companions. I would use her services anytime and highly recommend.”

In my home, your pet can have free access to outside with the doggy door. All cats are kept separate from the dogs. All dogs are fed separately. Detailed lists of your pets routine are helpful to ensure each pet is cared for to your expectations.
“Amazing sitter! Will definitely use again. Super easy to make conversation with and very flexible. Sent us of lots of pictures of our dogs playing and relaxing, my dogs had a great time playing with the other dogs and came home very happy! 10/10!”
“Carlie and her family took great care of my dog while I was gone. Brimley went to the park, took some walks, got to run and play ball and was fawned over by Carlie's little one. Brimley ate up allllll the attention!! I got plenty of pictures andy doggie was popped out when she got home. In fact, when I arrived to pick her up, I don't think Brimley was too keen on going home. I think she wanted to stay and play with the other doggies and their little girl. I let her in the truck and she jumped out the other side. Ha! Highly, highly recommend. I hope I can have them watch Brim again!”

“Kelli was wonderful with our lab! Zeus fit right into her family and was immediately at home with them. She has three boys who gave Zeus plenty of love. And Kelly did a great job updating me with photos throughout our vacation. We had so much peace of mind with Zeus in her care. We will definitely use Kelli again!”

About: I love taking care of and playing with dogs as I have had 5 throughout my life! I am recommended by my friends to others. I am currently a student at GVSU and I work at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids on the weekends. I am available to dog/cat sit Monday-Thursdays. Right now I live in an on campus apartment at GVSU and live 2 minutes away from a huge dog park. During the summer, I will be at home with a fenced in backyard in a very safe environment. I have 4 dogs and 1 cat at home. When I move out, I will be living in an apartment that is pet friendly with a dog park!
About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I remember. It started with my family dog and bearded dragon which both lived a very long and fulfilling life. I currently have a border collie mix of my own right now and some fish. I have lots of experience walking and taking care of dogs. I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, all ages (puppy to senior), all energy levels, and various different breeds (Boykin Spaniels, Pitbulls, Pomeranians, Border Collies, and Labs to name a few). Some of those dogs were anxious and/or reactive. I also understand the extra patience it takes to care for rescues and fosters because I volunteered at an animal shelter in Minnesota when I was in high school, my dog is a rescue, and I fostered a sweet Black Lab puppy in college. I have some experience caring for cats. I’ve watched cats for a few of my friends with no issues! Something that makes me different than other pet sitters is that I’m a wildlife biologist, so I am very educated about a lot of species and am always so excited to gain more experience caring for a new creature. I handle and manage for wild animals daily. In summary, I’d love to take care of your pet and give it the love and attention it deserves. Feel free to reach out anytime! I have plenty of free time right now, all day, every day. I am temporarily furloughed because of the government shutdown so am looking for some more cash. This seemed like a fun way! Safety is very important to me. If your pet comes to my place or if I watch your pet, I would keep them safe by following these rules I’ve created: - I don’t let dogs have huge bones or huge treats without supervision to avoid choking. - I always have the closest vet’s number written down in case of emergencies prior to caring for your pet. - I always have pet first aid supplies available just in case. - I ask about a pet’s reactivity towards dogs, people, and other animals prior to caring for your pet so I can keep your pet safe on walks.
“Paige is the BEST! She took magnificent care of our bulldog, Darla who requires a lot of attention and lovies. Paige sent daily reports, funny anecdotes about Darla’s and sweet pics of our pudgy princess. She’s also very attentive and gives expertise in her care. I would highly recommend her and hope to book her again. Thank you so much, Paige!”

Professional Grooming & Boarding Background: With professional hands-on experience working in grooming salons and boarding facilities, you can have peace of mind that your pet is in good hands. I excel at reading subtle canine body language, handling all breeds and sizes safely, and monitoring your dog's physical and emotional health. First Responder Background: As a former paramedic and firefighter, I bring a high level of situational awareness, hazard recognition, and emergency readiness to my pet care. I have a college-level education in anatomy, physiology, and medication administration. Senior & Special Needs Care: Experienced in handling low mobility pets, arthritis management, complex medical schedules, and the predictable routines that aging pets require. Puppy & Young Pet Support: I provide the patient and consistent care needed to keep your housebreaking, crate training, and basic leash manners right on track. Whether boarding or on a walk, your pet receives premium, attentive care backed by real world emergency response and professional industry experience. I keep a detailed calendar, but I also understand that flexibility is a necessity. My clients' needs can shift rapidly, and my routine is designed to adapt to those situations efficiently. Strict Timing for Core Needs: Even with a changing daily route, specific feeding times, medication windows, and midday walks remain locked into my itinerary and are prioritized to happen on time. No Excessive Absences: Because my schedule brings me back and forth throughout the day, pets are never left alone for excessive intervals. Sitting and boarding guests are typically left for no more than 3 to 4 hours at a time. When you book with me, you get the best of both worlds: I am an organized and reliable professional who can pivot instantly to meet your changing needs. In My Home (Boarding) Location & Yard: Near downtown Ludington and Cartier Park. My home is located on a standard sized city lot and features a secure 4 foot fence. Controlled Environment: My home is a cozy and quiet, adult only bungalow (only myself and one other adult female live in the home). Indoor Air Quality: Strictly no smoking, candle burning, or oil diffusers are permitted inside the home. Health & Safety: All guest dogs must be fully vaccinated and current on flea/tick prevention. Advanced Yard Sanitation: Outdoor areas are sanitized using the professional-grade Wysiwash system to eliminate pathogens like Parvo, Giardia, and hookworm. Built In Companion: I have one friendly, 50lb neutered male dog living in the home. He is fully vaccinated, socialized, and non-aggressive. Home Comforts: Dogs are welcome on the furniture, but only if allowed by your specific house rules. In Your Home (Walking & Sitting) Safety & Security: I actively scan for household and environmental hazards while ensuring all entryways, doors, and gates are locked. Focused Walks: I provide structured, fully engaged walks to prevent hazardous encounters. I always wear a high-visibility safety vest, carry a specialized pet first aid kit, and ensure all waste is professionally recovered and disposed of. Health Inspections: Leveraging my grooming background, I regularly check paws, coat, and body language to catch any early signs of stress or discomfort. Property Respect: Your home is treated with respect and left exactly as you left it (if not better). In any setting, you receive clear communication and the peace of mind that comes with a fully insured, emergency trained professional.

“Eden was amazing. They had great communication with me throughout the whole time they were taking care of my baby. Eden always kept me informed, sent a lot of pictures, and I felt reassured that Roberto was being taken care of very well! My only concern is that Roberto likes Eden more than me 😂”

About: Hi, I’m Carlie a mom of three and animal lover who works from home. I understand the need for someone trustworthy to care for your pets. Whether it’s feeding, checking in, or walks, I’d be happy to help. We have Greenley, our 5-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever, Jack Jack the cat, and Moose the horse, so I’m experienced with all kinds of pets. I’ll ensure your pets get the care they deserve while you're away. I look forward to meeting your furry (or hoofed) friends! I work remote, so it is easy to fit your pet needs into my schedule. You let us know if there are any special requests. Greenley stays out and lounges in one of the kids rooms while we are out of the home. We are happy to leave your pet out or crate them if they feel safer that way. This is totally up to you!

About: Your dog can enjoy a supervised country getaway with a loving family, a large fenced yard, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I have loved and cared for dogs for more than 35 years, and I previously provided pet care through Rover in Washington State before our family moved back to Michigan. Now that we are settled in our country home, we are excited to welcome dogs again. Our current dogs, Daphne and Dusty, are both rescues and have very different personalities. They do well with friendly dogs who are a good fit for our home, and we are thoughtful about introductions, supervision, and giving dogs space when they need a break. We are a dog-loving family of six, and guest dogs are treated like part of the family. My seven-year-old son, Oliver, is my enthusiastic helper and is learning responsibility, kindness, and entrepreneurship through pet care. I personally handle all bookings, communication, feeding, medication, supervision, safety decisions, and care routines, while Oliver helps in age-appropriate ways. We have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run, plus a peaceful country setting where dogs can relax, play, and enjoy lots of attention. We look forward to giving your dog a safe, happy, family-style vacation! I work from home and have a family of 6 so there will always be a responsible adult here with your pet and lots of people to play with them. I do not accept cats for boarding but I can accommodate drop-ins for cats. We have a large fenced yard, frequent supervision, and space for dogs to relax if they need a quiet break. Guest dogs are introduced thoughtfully to our resident dogs, and I supervise play, meals, outdoor time, and rest time. Our home is best suited for friendly dogs who are comfortable in a family environment with children and resident pets. Dogs are welcome on furniture and beds if that matches their home routine, and we also have private spaces available when a dog needs downtime.
About: Hi! I’m Ashley, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. My stepdad was the head of animal control, which taught me a lot about animal behavior, safety, and compassion at a young age. I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently share my heart (and couch!) with two of my own—Sassy, my sweet 17-year-old dachshund who I’ve had since 2011, and Oakley, a playful 6-year-old lab I adopted from the local animal shelter. I understand the unique needs of both senior dogs and high-energy pups, and I treat every animal in my care like family. Whether your pet needs gentle senior support, active playtime, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help with dependable, loving care. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work from home most of the week, which allows me to give my dogs plenty of attention, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. On the days I’m in the office, I’m only five minutes from home, so I’m able to come back easily to let my dogs out and check in on them. Their well-being is always a top priority, and I structure my day to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for—I’d do the same for yours! I care for pets in whatever way is most comfortable for them. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. If your pet loves their kennel, that’s perfectly fine—but if they prefer to cuddle up in bed, I’m more than happy to share the extra snuggles! Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding routines, or just relaxing on the couch, I do my best to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home.
“My puppy was very happy with Arisha. The puppy came back excited and smiling. Arisha was also very helpful in meeting me for the drop off. Thanks Arisha! Wishing you well.”

“Baylee was wonderful! She was reliable, responsive, and took great care of our very shy and particular German Shepherd. We just moved into a new house so we were worried about how he would do when we were gone but he did great with Baylee! We came home to a happy, healthy dog and we will definitely be using her again to watch Mav 😊”

About: I’ve almost always had a pet whether it was a cat, kitten, puppy, family dog, or fish. I enjoyed taking care of the neighborhoods pets growing up as well as house sitting for them. When I was bored I used to ask the neighbors if I could walk their dogs just to get outside! I love animals in all shapes and sizes. Currently I work full time from home. I have a pretty flexible schedule for when I can take a lunch break or leave the house for an extended amount of time. Come March I will be self employed and will have open availability! There is no fence around our home, ideally outside time will be on a leash or long lead rope for running. We can do long walks down the road, a quick car ride to the beach, or walk in the state land across the street from my home. For cats we have lots of climbing structures and even some shelves built into the wall. Many toys and much love to go around
“We love having Kristen help us out with our dog Mae. She follows instructions perfectly and has helped us a lot with reinforcing training commands. Kristen is super punctual and we always know we can count on her 100%. It is obvious how much she really loves caring for your pet too. I would highly recommend her (and I have)!”

I have dog sat for other families since I was 13 and have been dog walking since I was 10 just for neighbor dogs. I have dog sat a three month old puppy for 3 months while his mom went out of the country. My schedule is pretty open and flexible. If you need to know anything else just let me know I'm glad to answer any questions. I love me some doggy time 😊😊 I am currently working full time first shift but outside of that I can spend as much time as need with the pets. I can also extend my lunches to check on them during my lunch as well. I can ensure your dog will be safe while you are away and worry free. I like to send lots of pictures and updates of how they are doing!
“We’ve utilized Rish for both training and dog walking in our neighborhood. Great having someone we can trust, who handles our big, hyper, naughty boy so well. Our Z loves her!”

“Taylor was very patient with Whiskey as it was her 1st experience with a walker and she was nervous. I will definitely have her back and do believe her and Whiskey will be the best of friends”

“Taylor was amazing! Yesterday was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous about my pup being home alone... Taylor called me at work (per my request) so that I could go over how to get into my house, etc. and she calmed my nerves too :) when she got there, he had tore up his mattress pad in his kennel- she cleaned it up so that he couldn’t eat it. She then walked him, took pictures for me and played with him enough to tire him out for a bit. She was so good with him anc it was so appreciated! ❤️❤️”

About: What Sets Me Apart- Pet care is my profession, not a casual hobby. Backed by over a decade of industry experience, independent professional liability insurance, and Advanced Pet First Aid/CPR training, I offer a level of safety and expertise that standard sitters cannot match. Since providing pet related services is my full-time profession, my schedule is built around the dedicated care of my clients and their pets.
“Ashley was amazing this weekend with our Greenley girl! We were able to go camping and not worry about bit about her having the best care. Ashely sent pictures, and videos of Greenley happily laying on her couch, enjoying a walk or playing with her dog. She settled in and had a great weekend. We will definitely use Ashley in the future when we go out of town and Greenley cannot go with. We are so thankful to Rover for ease in finding Ashely- she will be our go to sitter!”

“Justice did amazing with our Crown! He came home happy and healthy! She sent photos and videos. We would love for her to watch him again and also have play dates! Highly recommend! ?”
