“By far the best option on here! I’ve now taken my little Pomeranian Woody back to back vacations I’ve been on and it’s been great. Plenty of updates are provided and my dog was truly treated like one of the family all week long! Definitely recommend and will be returning!”

“Michael is a pro!!! He promptly confirmed our request for 2 nights on relatively short notice. He has a wonderful system at drop-off and pickup to alleviate stress and chaos. Once our pups settled in, Michael sent us video of them in the play yard with the "pack". And we got periodic photo/video updates. If/when we are passing through again we will DEFINITELY be booking again. Thank you, Michael 🤩”

“Amazing! Would highly recommend. Knew my Bear was loved and cared for. Was able to help us with short notice after a my wife and I have been dealing with a tree falling on our house. Very grateful!”

“Stephanie was amazing with our not so easy pups. She made our daycation relaxing and stress free! We got pictures and updates all day long. Would highly recommend!”

“I was delighted with Katherine's service. She was prompt with my correspondence and the pickup and drop off service. Also my dog seemed to enjoy her stay with her immensely. I like that she provided me with photos during the course of the day boarding and overnight. I will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Appa had a great time finally having a playmate his age. Copper was very sad to see Appa leave him. Amanda and the whole family love dogs, you can tell that dogs are their lives. Safe setup inside and out, lots of treats and cuddles for the doggos.”

“Anthony took great care of Pepper! He made sure she had lots of fun and exercise while my wife and I were in town for our wedding. We really appreciate his flexibility and reliability because it allowed us to have Pepper be a part of the wedding ceremony. He also kept us updated with photos of Pepper having fun.”

“Heather n her family were great with Dexter! He enjoyed his vacation too! He was so clean n shiny when we picked him up, his hair looked awesome! He smelled like a farm dog so I added a bath, since I didn’t get time to bathe him before we left. Thank you so much! Dexter will be back!”

“Jalaina did a great job looking after my dog Baxter. Typically, I board him with a kennel, but he hates being in a cage and restricted. Jalaina was all I could have hoped for. She sent numerous pictures of Baxter that allowed me to have peace of mind when I needed a last minute sitter and a “homey” environment for Baxter. He warmed up to her immediately and even got comfy on her couch. Also, she walked him daily and when I picked him up he wasn’t anxious as he has been in kennel environments. I almost forgot to mention that she watched my Mom’s dog as well in the same weekend. We wanted to board them together because they are with each other most days. I can’t say enough about Jalaina and her sweet and gentle spirit which is why I think both dogs had such an enjoyable stay and I will not hesitate to book her again.”

“This was the best pet sitting experience we could have hoped for! It is our first time using Rover and Laurie was an absolute delight. She treated Sadie as if she were her own and updated us daily with photos. We will 100% recommend and use her again ! 10/10!”

“The best you could ever wish for your pets. It’s home away from home and I am pretty sure our dogs would prefer to stay longer if they were given the option. Jeanine is amazing with animals and makes everyone feel as if they were her own. We have been spoiled with having such a wonderful family for ours dogs to go and visit for daycare or over night stays.”

“Rocky very much enjoyed his stay. Loved playing with the other dogs. Got pictures and videos of him having a great time! Would definitely recommend Nick and Marissa for a safe environment. Will definitely use them again”

“Samantha and Ian took wonderful care of our pups while we were on vacation for a week. They sent many updates and photos while we were away. Our dogs didn't want to come home I don't think! We have tried many dog sitters and will only be using Samantha and Ian from here out!”

“Wonderful cat sitter! Wendy has a beautiful clean home with great amenities for cats. She loved on my cats a lot and made sure that they felt comfortable. Would recommend her 1000 times over!!”

“Maya is great with the dog. She takes a good care of my dog Maddie. She sent pictures every day to keep us up to date. I would definitely send my dog to her next time when we need and certainly recommend her to everyone who needs a dog care.”

“Our dog raced to the front door remembering her stay with Jena and Nick from last year. She remained happy and was able to stick to her normal routines while there. Jena sent pictures and updates regularly and was good about reporting any concerns or issues such as the air quality preventing long walks. They were genuinely concerned about Liz’s well being which is so important to us. Our pet was well cared for, and we plan to use them any time we need a dog sitter. We find them to be reliable, caring, and responsible and know Liz is in good hands while we are away.”

“A really wonderful couple who cared for our little elder dog, Milo, as if he were their own. He had a great time and that meant so much to us. It will be very easy to leave him with them again. I highly recommend Lindsey and Bob!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - New Castle
Marissa ( and her family) both are awesome! I had to leave my little dog with her at the last minute when I was traveling through town. She went above and beyond with communicating with me, also sent sweet pictures that let me know he was ok. She gets 5+ stars from me! I hope she knows what comfort she provided to both me and my dog, Patrick.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
