About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I’d love to care for your furry family member. I have over 3 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including a German Shepherd/Husky mix, as well as experience caring for farm animals. I also have my own Mini Australian Shepherd, Axel, so I understand the patience, exercise, and attention dogs need every day. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’ll treat your dog like they’re part of my own family, providing plenty of playtime, exercise, affection, and supervision. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, or simply relax, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and my husband works from home full-time, so there is someone home throughout the day to provide supervision, potty breaks, and companionship. I’m home every evening and have Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off to spend extra time playing, walking, and giving your pup plenty of attention. I’ll make sure your dog gets the love, care, and routine they deserve while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and understand that every pet has different needs and routines. I will follow your instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, crate training, and any special requests. My Mini Australian Shepherd, Axel, is friendly and enjoys other dogs, but I always recommend a meet-and-greet first to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’ll provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Wendy was absolutely amazing! Very easy to talk to and communicate with. Her house is like a pet Playland. She sent me lots of videos and pictures to keep me updated. She played alot with them and made sure they were comfortable. You can tell that she's just a genuinely beautiful person inside and out who loves animals and knows what she's doing. I had alot of anxiety about leaving my 2 cats behind while going on a trip but she set my mind at ease completely! I knew my babies were in great hands and they honestly seemed to have a good time. She even sent them home with a little gift bag full of toys and a cute balloon! I cannot praise her enough! I recommend her for all of your pet sitting needs!”

About: I’ve had a fur companion all of my life! I’ve successfully raised and trained five dogs from puppies and I have experience with rescue pups who may not feel entirely comfortable in their new environment. I’ve experienced small and large breeds alike, with my current pup being a King Cavalier Spaniel. Goose’s cousins who we see weekly are two Golden retrievers and one rescue mix. I’m able to be flexible or rigid when it comes to your pets schedule, and am knowledgeable in special diets, fresh pet food, administering meds if needed. I have the luxury of working from home and creating my own schedule which makes my days very flexible! I currently can accept pets for boarding, play dates or walks Sunday through Thursday, 9:30am to 10pm. My dog is allowed to be on all furniture and sleep in the bed and your pet would be permitted to as well if that is your preference! Goose and I take several walks a day and love to take day trips to various area dog parks and hiking trails or enjoy a lazy afternoon on the couch.

“Our dog, Hudson, had such a great time staying at Dana’s! He is very high energy so we were pleasantly surprised when he was all tuckered out from playing with Cooper. We also appreciated Dana’s quick response time and pictures of our dog during his stay!”

About: Hi, everyone! I have worked in a variety of different settings with animals of all kinds, (but mostly dogs). I have worked as a professional dog trainer, humane educator, foster coordinator, animal caretaker, community outreach coordinator at a tri-state humane society, and in animal rescue for over 7 years. I have trained, walked, and pet sat dogs for over 10 years off and on for clients, friends and relatives. Dogs know there are always treats in my pockets! I have a comfy couch for all animals to lay on, as well as a yard where they can dig as much as they want. My home is set up to cater to animals that's for sure! I look forward to getting to know you and your dogs. ❤️ While I work a full-time job in nonprofit administration, it is first shift, which gives me the availability in the early morning (5-9AM) to late evening (5:30PM and later) to provide pet care, depending on the day! 💜🐾 While I live in Niles and serve clients within a ten mile radius, I work in Ashtabula; I will also serve clients in the following cities within Ashtabula County: Jefferson, Rock Creek, Orwell, Andover, Pierpont, Conneaut, Ashtabula, and Geneva! 🐱🐶🐾💜 While I do not provide boarding or doggie daycare at this time, I care for your animal companions as I do my own, with love, patience, and kindness. Boarding will open up again soon!

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. - Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your McCaslin.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
