About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).

About: I am looking to offer the unique opportunity to allow people to have their pets cared for by someone who is truly qualified. My personal goal is to put all profits made on Rover towards my student loans. About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life that I was primarily responsible for and have taken good care of many other families animals while they were away. I do have a full time weekday job, but with great hours! I am available anytime after 3 pm m-f, and completely available on weekends! My husband and I often let our dogs outside in the backyard on a stake leash or we will walk them. We feed them 2x a day. I am very well aware with daily medications for pets. My dog takes multiple daily usually with breakfast. I will make sure to give all the time and care that the pet requires.

About: I have had pets ever since I was a small child: dogs, cats, hamster, gerbils, chinchilla, parakeet, turtles, even a toad that we saved from a freezing winter. We took care of it till spring and then released it. I love animals of all types. Almost, I'm not babysitting your tarantula or pet snake. My dog and cat are loved as if they were my children and your dog will be treated this way as well. We enjoy taking walks and car rides to the dog park in nice days. I never allow my dog outside without me. I am semi-retired and I work from home painting and repairing furniture and working on various crafts. Therefore I am very flexible with my time. I live in a decent sized 2 story home with a large back yard. It is not fenced all the way so my dog is always on a cable or leash. We live to go for walks and to the dog park for extra exercise. My dog is a husky mix and is almost 4 years old. She loves dogs of all sizes.
About: I have had a dog my entire life. When my last one passed, my heart was broken and I haven’t been able to get another one. I watched my daughter’s dog for a year but took her back about a year ago to Idaho. I work from home and it’s very quiet without any four-legged friends to keep me company throughout the day. “WOW! What can I say about Gina and her family.... 5 Star A+ experience, Again! This was my second time leaving my pups with Gina and her family. Last year they had a great experience, and this year was more of the same. They immediately reconognized Gina and were soooo happy to see her again. We were in town working a vendor event and Gina and her family cared for my babies while I was working. I got regular updates about their feeding, pooping and playing. She took them on multiple walks each day and sent pictures each time. They have a fabulous place to care for the dogs. They have a very nice house and a huge open garage for plenty of safe play room. About: I’ve taken care of animals since a little girl. I’ve trained 2 medical service dogs so far! I’m currently learning more about specialty training. I have puppy training experience, crate training, leash training, senior care, and medication management. I’m a graphic designer and I work from home. I rarely leave the house! About this sitter: I have been a sitter with Rover for about 5 years, and have loved it! My husband and I both work from home, me as a contractor and my husband as the founder and CEO of our music lesson business. Our work enables us to be flexible and home more than most, which we are extremely grateful for. We love animals and I have had dogs and cats my entire life. Our three children also love animals. They are very gentle and calm around animals, as we have taught them how to treat animals kindly and with respect, no pulling on tails or stealing toys here! Why I love dog sitting I got my first family dog, a LasoApso/Poodle mix, when I was 6, rescued from the shelter. Since then, I have always had dog(s) and/or cat(s), including one three-legged cat and later, an epileptic dog who had two reconstructive knee surgeries! Later in life, we enrolled a puppy we adopted into an intensive training and obedience program, in which we were also trained in proper dog handling. We have had dogs of all sizes, from a miniature poodle to a 100lb chocolate lab…all of which were lap dogs…even the giant lab! Meet my pets We have two 5 month old male kittens that get along great with dogs, and usually don't even pay them any attention. We have no other dogs. About my home and yard We live in a 3 story home with hardwood floors. We have an open back yard with a lead to make sure that our dog guests can safely enjoy being outside and still stay on our property. We do have steps leading to both the front and back door into the yard. My experience administering medication Yes, we can administer medication. Over the years I have had multiple pets with special needs which required medication. Our family loves animals and we're ready to love yours! We do have a large dog crate here and plenty of toys, so there is no need to transport a crate. We have a lead in the back yard to make sure that all dog guests are safe and on our property during potty breaks and outside time.

About: Hi everyone! Our names are Karen and Chad and we’ve always had a love for dogs since childhood. The thought of caring or rescuing a dog has always been top of our minds. When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. Since we lost him, we’ve wanted to continue helping/caring for dogs and can’t think of a better way then helping others with their fur animals. About: I’ve had a lifetime of caring for a wide range of animals. Particularly dogs and horses but all creatures welcome. Good with body language and attentive to animals needs. I’m an avid hiker and love taking dogs for walks. 💕 I work part time from home and have a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. This flexibility lends itself well to constant care required by puppies, the elderly and other special souls. I rarely host multiple families of dogs at one time (might be some overlap on pickup/drop off days) and prefer to focus on a quality experience for the dog over multiple bookings. If you make a request and I tell you it’s not a good fit at this time, it’s because I have carefully considered the safety and happiness of another client. Your pet will not be left unattended for extended periods of time during the day. I know firsthand how stressful it can be to find quality pet care and pride myself on being dependable and responsive. I take the responsibility of caring for your animal seriously. I live in a rural area on a road with very little traffic. We have two horses, chickens and two dogs on our 14 acre property. I do not have a fenced area and use tie outs for porch lounging and hand walking for potty runs. Your pet will have access to the main floor of my house (no stairs) including furniture (if allowed). The ability to change the floor plan also allows to separate animals if beneficial.

I will always try to accommodate for every pet and their owner and plan my week accordingly. I love going on walks with my boyfriend and friends, so I am always willing to walk multiple dogs and/or bigger/stronger dogs with their help! I have no problem staying at your house. I would follow any of the rules you set and make sure your pet is happy, safe, and healthy the entire time. I have the most experience with staying at the client’s home and have no issue doing so. I would make sure your pet is comfortable and follow their schedule the best I can.
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs and currently have two of my own, so caring for them is second nature to me. They truly become part of the family — honestly, my dogs are like my children. Because of this, I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. About: I am looking to offer the unique opportunity to allow people to have their pets cared for by someone who is truly qualified. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 7 years old, starting with my crazy Siberian Husky. Once teen years hit I started to take care of others pets during their family vacations and out of town trips. I’ve cared for puppies, adult and senior dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, birds, guinea pigs, chinchillas and hermit crabs. Feeding, bathing, walking, giving oral medications… you name it and I’ve likely done it haha My current job consists of teaching the flagline for a marching band in beaver county. I do babysit my 14 year old sister weekdays until about 1pm during the summer so if there is reactivity or apprehension towards children let me know so I can keep her away but otherwise she has grown up around animals and is very good with them if you don’t mind her being with me I offer 2-3 daily check-ins. I will stay up to 1 hour each trip to ensure the pet has plenty of time to run and play and release some energy as well as adequately relieve their bladders/bowels. I also offer overnight stays and giving oral medications. I’m additionally capable of bathing and walking dogs 60 pounds and under.

About: I have owned dogs and cats since 1985 and was on a K9 Search and Rescue team for 18+ years so I have worked with all types of dogs and have a lot of experience with training. I currently work outside the home M-F 9-5 but can work from home upon request. Weekends I am home the majority of the time and spend most of my time hanging out with my own dogs (two labs) I have hosted a variety of dogs in my home including corgis, labs, goldens, frenchies, pitties, mals, and other assorted breeds. I treat everyone's pets just like my own - lots of treats, snuggles, couch naps, and of course sleeping on the bed if they want. Both of my labs are extremely friendly and love pretty much all dogs, but I do have experience sitting some dogs who preferred to be separate from my boys via either baby gates or kennels (depending on what the dog is comfortable with). I have a large fenced in backyard and a smaller fenced in front yard. The backyard has a doggie door that allows the dogs to go in and out at will, although when I am not home, I do not give any dogs access to the yard (even my own dogs as a safety issue).
