“Amber was a great help with our 2 dogs. She was very accommodating and even was able to be flexible with times the one day as we needed to move the original request. Thank you Amber for taking good care of Dewey and Harper.”

“Dez is always so excited to see Serenity. I know that she will be getting the exercise she needs, and I don't have to worry about her. Plus, she made a new doggy friend and always loves having new friends to play with!”

“Rhianna was fantastic. Libbie looked forward to her afternoon walks while we were in town. She was prompt, provided great communication, and took some of the best animated pics of Libbie! I plan to connect with her again next time I am back in town.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs and currently have two of my own, so caring for them is second nature to me. They truly become part of the family — honestly, my dogs are like my children. Because of this, I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. I’m also a Reiki practitioner and sometimes offer gentle animal Reiki, which can help create a calm and relaxed environment for animals. My experience with energy work has helped me become very patient, attentive, and in tune with what animals need. Your dog will be treated like one of my own — with lots of love, attention, and care. I am available Friday evening through Monday evening most weekend. I believe this would be a great opportunity to care for animals while helping their owners have an easier time in life when responsibilities arise. I have a very clean, comfortable, trusted home. I watch a dear friend of mines dog once in a while, and while I have 2 dogs of my own, they truly enjoy the company of other dogs that can become their new friends! I will treat your baby as part of my family and show them the most love I can.
About: I am very flexible with hours. I am an active person and happy to play with your pet and walk them as much as needed. I grew up in the cold, so weather doesn't bother me walking or driving. I also am willing to work with your hours and do what is best for your pet. I also am always happy to send pictures and check in so you know they are living your best life. I can be flexible but I am a morning person so early walks are okay with me. I can also drop in easily through the day with little issue. I grew up with large dogs (lover (100lbs) and 2 cats, and am the current owner of a Bernese Mountain dog who I love. I love all animals but tend to lean to bigger dogs. I like cats butdon't currently own one due to my husband. I am newer to rover but have spent a lot of time caring for my own pets but also dog sitting for others in their homes over the last 7 years.

About: Hey there! My name is Rae and I recently relocated to the area with my pet care business and bring over 10 years of professional experience working with animals. My background includes 5 years as a veterinary and recovery technician as well as operating my own professional dog training business for the last 5 years. I am a Level 3 R+ Fear Free Certified Professional Dog Trainer and am certified through the AKC. I am also insured and bonded through my business. My experience allows me to read canine body language naturally and understand how animals communicate, which helps me provide calm, attentive care tailored to each individual pet. Over the years I’ve worked with dogs across a wide range of temperaments, personalities, and life stages. From puppies in early development to senior dogs who need a slower pace, I’m comfortable adjusting my care to meet each dog where they are. My background in behavior and training also allows me to recognize stress signals early, support anxious or sensitive dogs, and maintain a calm, structured environment while you’re away. I am experienced caring for pets with medical needs including insulin injections, glucose monitoring, medications, and senior and palliative care. My veterinary background helps me stay attentive to subtle changes in behavior or health so your pets receive thoughtful, observant care. As the sole proprietor of Pack Life, pet care is my full time career. I accept bookings from 1 family at a time so your pets have my undivided attention their entire stay. Your pets are never crated unless that is part of their regular schedule or training at home. Safety and communication are my biggest priority along with making sure your pets receive exceptional care with mental and emotional health in mind. I maintain your dog’s existing structure and daily routines so their environment remains stable and predictable while you’re away.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
