“Rhianna did an amazing job! She took great care of my kitty! She followed all of the instructions I gave her, provided pics of my pet to put me at ease, communicated with me throughout the process/during the visit, was very flexible schedule wise, and respected my home. I highly recommend her.”

“My old man cat hid but Sarah made sure to get pictures of him even when he was hiding under the bed. She made fast friends with my kitten and they had a blast <3 Everything was as I left it and my boys were well cared for.”

About: Aside from owning dogs my entire life, I have years of experience taking care of pets. I accept any type of pet and all ages. I am a certified dog trainer. I also worked at a veterinary office and dog grooming. I have certification in pet CPR and first aid so I am able to handle emergency situations. I can administer medications and provide any medical care if needed. I am very flexible. I make my own schedule to accommodate everyone's needs. I can be available 7 days a week pretty much at any time. I will come to your house whenever days/times needed. I provide potty breaks, feedings, and of course play time which can include short walks, a game of fetch, or just sitting with them on the couch for pets and snuggles. If there is anything you need other than pet care, I can do that as well. Examples include, bringing in mail or taking out garbage, or watering plants.
“Serenity is a great pet sitter and I love getting the pictures and hearing how my cats are doing when I'm away. I can tell she loves animals and I feel like someone is caring for them when I'm not home.”

I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I am dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all ages and sizes. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a parent of three active boys, I am organized, dependable, and used to caring for others. I have flexibility throughout the week for drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs and currently have two of my own, so caring for them is second nature to me. They truly become part of the family — honestly, my dogs are like my children. Because of this, I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. I’m also a Reiki practitioner and sometimes offer gentle animal Reiki, which can help create a calm and relaxed environment for animals. My experience with energy work has helped me become very patient, attentive, and in tune with what animals need. Your dog will be treated like one of my own — with lots of love, attention, and care. I am available Friday evening through Monday evening most weekend. I believe this would be a great opportunity to care for animals while helping their owners have an easier time in life when responsibilities arise. I have a very clean, comfortable, trusted home. I watch a dear friend of mines dog once in a while, and while I have 2 dogs of my own, they truly enjoy the company of other dogs that can become their new friends! I will treat your baby as part of my family and show them the most love I can.
“Holly has taken such good care of our sometimes nervous dog. She took it slow at the start and now they have become best buddies. I swear our dog looks forward to seeing her every week.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
