About: I grew up with a family dog and was always involved in feeding and walks. As an adult I've watched and checked on dogs for several family members and friends. I am available for feedings and walks and happy to work on any training or commands with your pets! I have experience with all dog sizes. This is currently my full-time job so I have a wide range of availability! I will also be in Columbus for most of the summer so I'm happy to help during any summer vacation plans! I am very respectful of any house rules while dog sitting. I have watched dogs that cannot be alone in yards or need to be crated while alone or during the night. I will do everything I need to make sure the dog is comfortable while I watch them and to respect your home.

About: i’ve had dogs and cats my whole life growing up. Assisted at numerous animal shelters. I’ve had my own dog for three years. She’s very well taken care of. I’ve watched numerous friends and families animals throughout my childhood and adulthood. I’m very competent and confident in my skills with animal caretaking. currently, I’m in the transition of graduate school to my first role as a physician assistant. I have a lot of flexibility in upcoming months to take care of animals and this is something I would like to do not only for my own enjoyment, but for a side income. I’m available pretty much anytime throughout the week, I just need a heads up. I am willing to care for your pets however you see and feel as needed. My personal dog is crate trained and potty trained. She spends most of her day outside of the crate. She’s very well trained both on and off leash. “Jessica was amazing with her communication around her walks with Draven and her pick up times. Couldn’t have asked for a better person to spend time with our pup. !!”

About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life and spent nearly 25 years living with and caring for them. I’m the go-to sitter for my friends, regularly watching their dogs for days or even weeks at a time. From tiny Yorkie and Basenji puppies to medium Cockapoos and extra-large rescues, I’ve walked, trained, and cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities. I tailor every walk to your pup, whether they prefer a slow stroll with plenty of breaks or a steady jog (I recently ran the Big Ten 10K representing my alma mater, Ohio State). Outside of dog walking, I’ve spent over a decade working in the energy field and recently took an intentional career break after a meaningful year helping rebuild Puerto Rico’s electric grid. You can count on me for reliable, loving care every time. I’m currently taking an intentional career break, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I’m happy to support one-time walks, last-minute requests, or ongoing, routine care - whatever works best for you and your pup. I care for pets as if they were my own, with attention to their unique routines, personalities, and needs. Before any booking, I like to do a quick check-in to align on expectations, learn about your pet’s habits, preferences, and any special care instructions. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by following their established schedule, maintaining their space, and keeping things clean and consistent. Whether it’s walks, feedings, playtime, or medications, I provide calm, attentive care and clear communication every step of the way.

About: I’ve have had a family cats and dogs my whole life that I have fed, walked, played with, and loved. Also, I have pet sat for multiple friends and family who have relied on me to do the same for their pets. I am familiar with Rover as I have been working for the app for over 3 years and have now dog and cat sit numerous times. I work a 8am-5pm job but have the flexibility to offer services early morning, midday, evening times and weekends. Will schedule around work to make sure I take care of your pets in a timely manner. I would care for your pets just like I would care for my own. No matter the living situation of a client, I will always prioritize the pets safety, health, and happiness.

About: I have had the pleasure of taking care of tons of furry (and scaly) friends over the years. It warms my heart to provide all that I can for any pet. I have my own babies at home, as well as taking care of friends’ and families’ as well. I would be happy to offer that same care to any pet. Pets are incredibly special and important to me. I take great pride in committing deeply to assuring their safety and care while under my supervision.

“Donald was incredible!! I’d recommend him to anyone and everyone! He was helpful and accommodating. I appreciated the photos he posted after each walk which helped ease my anxiety of keeping my new dog at home alone while at work.”

About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. Growing up, I walked dogs in my neighborhood and helped raise my own pup from just 3 months old all the way to 16, alongside my dad. That journey taught me patience, responsibility, and how to meet a dog’s needs at every life stage. I have studied dog psychology and body language on my own. I’m comfortable administering pills and, with guidance, I can also give shots—always prioritizing each dog’s comfort and well-being. I currently work part-time in the event industry and my hours vary. I will have plenty of time to take care for your fur babies! I have a high commitment to trust and safety inside or outside of my clients home. I am extremely vigilant and aware of my surroundings. Your dog will always feel safe, protected, and cared for.

About: I treat someone else’s animal as if it were mine. I always ask the owner any specific instructions on the animal’s eating habits, potty habits, and sleeping habits. I always strive to be as respectful and responsible as much as possible because I realize the importance of my being there to provide care and comfort to someone’s animal. I work full-time in a hybrid work setup. I work days and have a set work schedule that affords me breaks throughout the day and the ability to end work relatively early. I also do not work on weekends. In a client’s home, I am very cognizant that I am a guest and that, when entering the home, I must be respectful of everyone, particularly of the animal’s space. Animals are, by nature, very territorial and loyal to their owners. They can see a new human coming in as a threat or just as someone that does not belong in that space. So, I have found that the best thing to do is to first convey to the animal that I am not a threat and then try to establish a bond or connection with the animal.

About: I’ve been pet sitting and caring for animals for over 2 years. I’m calm, observant, and pretty intuitive with animals. Whether they need space, play, or extra comfort, I’m good at tuning in and adjusting. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and keep things peaceful, clean, and loving while you’re away. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule, so your dog will get plenty of love and attention. I’m available for boarding on weekends and for walks or drop-ins most weekdays after 2pm. Whether it’s a quick visit or an overnight stay, I’ll make sure your pup feels right at home. I keep a calm, clean, and dog-friendly space with plenty of room to relax or play. I don’t have pets of my own, so your pup gets my full attention. Whether they’re crate-trained, free-roaming, or need special care, I’ll follow your routines to help them feel safe and settled.

About: I have cared for the smallest pugs all the way to the biggest golden retrievers! I love dogs in spending time with man’s best friend. I would treat your dog as if it was my own and give it all the love and attention it needs! I am currently a full-time student. I am available to care for your pets on Mondays, and Wednesday’s from 3 PM to 8pm. On Friday’s from 2pm-10pm and I have open availability on Saturdays and Sundays! I live in a very spacious two bedroom apartment with a separate upstairs and downstairs area. I live right next to a very grassy area with a dog park so taking your animal for walks and potty breaks would be no issue and we can go outside as much as they want!

About: I have been a vet assistant, I’ve worked with horses, cats, dogs, birds, lizards, and snakes. I always go the extra mile and believe that pets deserve the very best. I uber full time so I’m very flexible with your needs. If your cat needs more time to adjust, I will give them that. Cats are beautiful, kind and sweet, and I can’t wait to meet yours! I take care of your babies as if they were mine, I will give them love and attention with boundaries. I specialize in difficult cases. If your pet needs a little extra time and attention that’s no problem.

About: "What differentiates me from other caregivers is the love and patience with which I treat each pet, as if it were part of my family. I have experience taking care of both kittens and young dogs as well as older pets that require special attention, medication or delicate care. I adapt to your needs and always maintain clear communication with the owners to give them peace of mind. Pet care is an essential part of my daily routine. “Andrew is very dependable and takes great care of our dog. The dogs love him. Andrew has helped us out multiple times and has been very flexible.”

Matthew M.
“Matthew stayed in my home for a weekend to watch our 12-year-old miniature schnauzer, Roxie, and our 3-year-old schnorkie, Luna. Both girls love Matthew! We felt so relaxed knowing that Matthew was with our doggies in their own home. They barely noticed our leaving as they had long walks and belly rubs to look forward to with Matthew. In fact, after we had returned home, our Luna waited outside the guest room door, hoping to find Matthew there. He has a great rapport with dogs and takes his role as caretaker seriously. He sent some of the best pictures I've ever seen of our girls while we were gone... we knew they were happy and safe. If you get a chance to hire Matthew, DO IT! He's amazing.”

Alexandria-Vivica W.
“Alex has been an animal lover since she was a young child. As a current preschool assistant teacher, Alex treats animals with the same care that she treats kids in the classroom. Alex is a proud cat mom, who puts her all into making sure that her cats Sunny and Luna have the very best life and have everything they need. Growing up, Alex had all types of pets, including fish, frogs, lizards, and even guinea pigs. No matter the animal Alex always treated them with great care and made them her top priority.”

Miriam W.
“Miriam took amazing care of my three cats while I was out of town for a week on business. When I came home, everything was spotless—the litter box was clean, and their food and water bowls were washed and full. The best part? When Miriam came back to watch them for a weekend, my cats ran straight to her, excited to play! Anyone who knows cats knows they don’t do that unless they’ve been treated with kindness and care. I highly recommend Miriam to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet sitter!”

Near East dog parents share their Rover experiences
We couldn't be happier with Danielle as our dog walker! From the moment we first contacted her, her response time and communication have been excellent. It's such a relief to know we can always reach her and that she keeps us in the loop. Our pitbull, Dottie, absolutely adores Danielle. Dottie can be a strong walker, but Danielle handles her with confidence and care. We especially love the pictures she sends during their walks – it's wonderful to see Dottie enjoying herself and getting great exercise. Danielle truly goes above and beyond, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and caring dog walker!

Paola is such a sweet person and did a wonderful job taking care of my dogs! I am always nervous to leave them when I go out of town, so it was a relief to find someone who I trusted to care for them. She’s very communicative and responsive, and she pays close attention to the pups and their needs. She also sends lots of photos and videos back so I was able to see my pups while I was away. I would highly recommend Paola, and I will definitely be hiring her again.
