“Gavin was GREAT! He stayed with and played with our two kids (dogs) and lived in our home in East Hampton for close to 3 weeks while we were in New Zealand. While we were away he kept in constant touch with us supplying an endless stream of photos and videos clearly evincing the progress of the dogs trauma of us leaving, with the initial photo of the dogs look of being held hostage (semi joke) to the next of enjoyment with and of the dogs and the dogs change too). He clearly loved them and they loved him back. He is VERY communicative and we appreciated it. He follows direction well and since he lives nearby to us didn't have to travel far to take care of his other responsibilities such as other dogs (like his own). A very responsible fellow and will of course use him again when we return from FL.”

About: I was lucky enough to grow up with dogs and cats my whole childhood and have never spent a day in my house without a pet there. I love animals so much and it brings me so much joy to connect with them. I understand the patience and empathy it takes to get to know an animal and for them to feel comfortable around us. In my home we let the animals come and go as they please with the doggy door, but we try and take the dogs on a long walk once a day to keep em healthy. We feed them dry food in the morning and wet at night. I try and spend a lot of time with my pets to create a familiar bond with them.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. Six dogs growing up, every size imaginable, and my cat Lucy who I had for 16 years. Losing her recently is part of why I’m here. I’m not ready to commit to another pet of my own just yet. I’ve handled medication schedules, post-surgery care, special diets, and anxious pets who just needed someone calm and consistent. None of that phases me. I’m based in Manhattan in a doorman building with a flexible schedule, so your pet gets actual quality time, not a quick check-in between back to back bookings. I run my own professional organizing company, so my schedule is genuinely flexible depending on the week. On days without client projects I’m fully available, and I can often accommodate last minute requests too. Weekdays, weekends, overnights: just ask. Pets don’t keep a 9 to 5 and neither do I. My apartment is a pet free home right now, which actually works in your favor. No other animals competing for attention, no territorial energy, just a calm and clean Manhattan space where your pet gets to be the center of attention. I’m in a doorman building, so there’s always someone at the door and your pet is never coming or going unattended. For drop-ins and walks I come to you, so your pet stays comfortable in their own environment the whole time.

When your pup stays with me, they’re treated like a member of our family and cared for with lots of love, patience, and attention. I work just one mile from home and am able to come home during my lunch break, so dogs in my care are never left alone for more than three hours at a time on weekdays. Mornings start with a potty break, breakfast, and some attention before I head to work. I return at lunch for another potty break, playtime, and any midday care needed. After work, I’m home for the evening with plenty of time for walks, dinner, and play. Dogs in my care spend a lot of time outside and enjoying our large yard. I love keeping dogs active with plenty of opportunities to run, explore, and burn off energy in a safe space. On weekends, school breaks, and throughout the summer, I am home most or all of the day, allowing for even more frequent potty breaks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. This setup works especially well for puppies, high-energy dogs, senior pets, and dogs who thrive with lots of human companionship. I will do whatever you request and/or are comfortable with as the owner, leaving the pet out during the day or crating. Whatever you think is best! I've even had dogs on a scheduled nap time :) open communication here is important! I will ALWAYS send photos.
