About: I have many years of caring for all types of dogs. I have worked with puppies, seniors, reactive/fearful dogs, and working/high energy breeds. I am always up for learning and researching new techniques and skills when it comes to dogs. I have fostered dogs through my local animal shelter for many years which has given me a lot of experience with rescues. I’ve fostered nursing litters, young puppies, and adult dogs with great success! I am always excited to meet new dogs and learn their personalities and quirks so that I can care for them in a way that works best for the dog! I am newly unemployed and dedicating my time to caring for dogs! My schedule is generally pretty flexible, which leaves me time to care for your pets in a way that works for you and your dog! I live in a home with a fenced in yard where dogs can play! I have one dog named Olive, and she is the best with fosters we bring into our home. She will take the lead of other dogs and can play for hours, or just hangout calmly and give space to nervous dogs. I believe in crate training and find it very useful for multi dog households, but if your dog isn’t crate trained we can figure something out! Mental and physical stimulation is one of the most important things for dogs, so I incorporate walks, brain games, and structure whenever necessary! I believe that each dog is unique, so I like to follow their lead in terms of what they require to be fulfilled!

“Greg is amazing! He was able to help us out last minute and our Kenzie loved him. He spent time with both my cat and dog and gave them cuddles and attention when we were away. Highly recommend him!”

“Sam was the best! She was able to accommodate my last minute check ins on my two boys. I felt safe letting her into my home. I arrived home to them waiting and they were well taken care of. I 100% recommend and will use her services in the future.”

“Jessica was a great cat sitter! All instructions were followed and she was great at communicating. Skittles seemed very happy upon my return! I would book with her again.”

About: I have had pets all my life and looked after friend's and family's pets in the U.S. and Mexico. I love getting to know their habits and quirks and being their buddy, while they're people were away. I am a remote graphic designer and do landscaping. My schedule is very flexible and enjoy taking dogs for walks and sitting/playing with cats. I use Rover when I travel and know what it's like to be away from your pets. I love spending time with pets, giving them the extra care when their people are away. I think giving people the freedom to travel and work, and still take great care of their pets is very important.

“Amazing x 10000! She is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough and went the extra mile for my diabetic cat. I am suuuper particular about my cat because he is a special needs cat and Karyn helped him 100% while in my absence. My cats loved her. I couldn’t have found a better sitter!”

“Melanie is thoughtful, kind and conscientious! Our pack is so happy to see her and also match her calm and caring demeanor. We are so grateful to have Melanie a part of our pack!”

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats my entire life and enjoy their company. I had two Labradors and four cats sharing my home, who have since gone over the Rainbow Bridge. My sister has a middle-aged rescue brindle, a two-year-old calico cat, and a Retriever puppy that I assist caring for which fills that furry gap. My diversity in caring for old and young dogs is extensive along with varieties of dogs from Labradors to Pittbull-mixes to Bassett Hounds. I love how pets fill our hearts with love and affection and I enjoy being with them, caring and playing with them. Being retired I can spend as much time as needed to care for your fur babies. My versatile schedule allows me availability to be with them whenever needed to let them out, play, feed and check on them. I look forward to meeting them, and you. I have done house and pet sitting for many years bringing experience and attention to every home and pet I meet. One of my goals is to bring comfort when you are away knowing your home and pets are well cared for. My first priority is to be mindful of the location of each dog and cat while there. Safety is most important, being aware of closed doors and gates to avoid any mishaps and alert to anything on the floor or within reach that could be ingested. Every pet has their unique habits and I am careful to learn those from you and them and focus on their needs. I enjoy giving people that comfort knowing their fur babies and their home are in good hands.

About: I have been caring for animals since my childhood and have several of my own. I am a veterinary assistant and am comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes, as well as with responsibilities such as administering medication, walks, special diets, etc. I work and go to school part time. I have the most freedom on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, but can also periodically check on your pet on the other days of the week. I can do overnights as well. I will work with your pets needs whether that is specific feeding times, a walking schedule, or other routines that you and your pet typically do.

“Terrance was able to step in at the last minute and come watch my pup for two days. He did a great job and was very responsive. On time. And a pleasure to have watching my dog. I’m definitely going to keep him as a contact for future bookings. Highly recommended.”

Marilee W.
“We were in Europe for 5 weeks when we received notice our booked sitter needed to leave town. Fortunately, Marilee could fill in! When we had a wedding out of state a month after our return, Marilee was our first call. Our furry toddler Yoda clearly took to Marilee's care and attention during our first sit experience. It is unnerving to lose a caretaker, but Marilee filled the gap so well that when Marilee visited our home for an official orientation, Yoda was happy to see her and receive her attention. Returning from the long weekend, now our second opportunity to use Marilee, Yoda was not traumatized by us leaving. And we suspect, if Marilee visited in the near future, Yoda would again be glad to see her. It is hard to leave a pet, but Marilee sent unexpected photos and reports of Yoda's activities and overall status which also meant a lot.”

Karyn W.

Kim K.
“I am pleased and honored to write a letter of recommendation for Kim regarding both pet and house sitting. I would never hesitate to ask Kim to take care of my cats or watch our home. Her professionalism and love of four legged animals is without bound. She is reliable, trustworthy, affectionate and without a doubt a perfect match for this endeavor. Detail oriented, caring and loving, she hit it off with my cats immediately and I never had a worry. She took the time to learn their routines (indoor-outdoor cats) and habits, sent updates and photos, took care of the mail and trash, and when we came home it was if we had never left. Well cared for, loved, and everything in its place. Leaving your pets in someone else’s care is stressful enough and with Kim, I had none of that. I wish we still lived in the same state so she could continue the care and love I know she will give her future charges. I knew her dogs and saw the care and attention she gave them and just know this is a perfect fit for her. Whether it’s walking the pets, attending to feeding and companionship, administering medicines, and just loving them, one could not go wrong with Kim.”

Ethanee R.Star Sitter
“Ethanee took care of our very finicky 22-year-old cat for 9 days over the holidays. Our cat requires twice daily medication and has special dietary needs. We came home to one very happy, very healthy cat. She provided us daily updates, was meticulous about cleaning the litter box and keeping water cleaned and refilled. As a plus, the house was also spotless!!! Not only is our cat very finicky, we are also very picky about who we trust to care for our fur-baby. We will ask Ethanee to cat sit any time we leave. We cannot thank her enough for the care and attention she showered on our little Reggie.”

Rose C.Star Sitter
“Rose took extremely good care of our dog Chico!”
