About: I have always loved dogs. In 2021, I adopted a German shepherd and joined a training group. Practicing and training with my own dog every day led to me developing a passion for walking and working with dogs. Since then, I have walked many dogs, including structured walks where we practice heel, sit, place, and other basic commands. I also have experience assisting my trainer with client lessons and dog sat overnight for a home with multiple dogs. I have experience with large dogs, and could also help them to practice walking nicely on a leash. I have worked with and walked small, medium, and large dogs, and even a very large dog. I truly care that dogs get enough mental and physical stimulation so that they can live their happiest lives. Even in rainy weather, I enjoy taking out my dog. I’d love to help more dogs get more walks and sniffs in! I have also dropped in to care for friends’ cats and am comfortable providing cat care drop ins as well. I have a fresh water aquarium at home and could feed fish too! I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule. Currently, I prefer to walk dogs during the day or in the afternoon, but I could work with other times. I would be available to walk dogs or drop in Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays. About: I don't have a ton of experience with pet-sitting, but I LOVE animals. My two cats are my life, and I always do what I can to ensure they are happy in their forever home. I've always grown up with animals in my home, so adding some more fur-rends (please laugh) temporarily is always welcome. My days are usually very open, since I just graduated high school. About: I’ve lived with dogs/cats my entire life. I have checked in, played, fed, given meds and potty breaks to dogs of two other families before. STARTING AUGUST 18: I will be starting my clinical rotations at WellSpan hospitals and other sites. This means during weekdays I will not be available from 6am-3:30pm or even later depending what site I am at that day (i have rotations in Gettysburg). Weekends I am available unless said otherwise!
