Pet care experience

Ready to match your pet’s energy

I’ve had a heart for animals since I was young, and have owned both cats and dogs - ranging from low-energy Pugs to high-energy Boxers - for the majority of my life. My pet care experience mostly includes sitting for friends and family members, and caring for my own dog, a 6-year old Mini Poodle mix. I’ve taken care of senior animals with a variety of health conditions, and have no problem providing medications from pills to eye drops. I also have some experience working with reactive dogs, as my dog deals with reactivity issues. Through a 6-session training course we completed with a professional trainer in the summer of 2025, I’ve learned techniques to improve behavior on walks, as well as a long list of enrichment activities to help your high-energy pups burn energy throughout the day.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I thrive on routines and like to keep somewhat of a normal routine for my dog. This includes feedings, giving medications, multiple walks, and enrichment activities (in or outside, depending on weather). My dog has anxiety and spring/summer are the most difficult for her, so I keep on music or background sounds while in the house, and make sure she is always on a leash when outside. I am willing and open to following any routines you have for your pet, however, I am not comfortable with electric fences or shock collars. I always have my phone easily accessible and am a quick communicator, so I can provide pictures, texts, or calls as requested if you’d like to check up on your fur baby.

I can’t recommend Caitlyn enough! She takes incredible care of my Golden Retriever, who has a limb deformity and requires a little extra attention to make sure his specific needs are met. She is responsible, reliable, always on time, and a clear communicator. She is also very aware of her surroundings and pays close attention to my dog’s anxieties, including things like car rides, which gives me so much peace of mind. Any pet would be lucky to be in her care.

Caitlyn took care of my cat, Lola, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. She treats every animal like her own, and it really shows in how attentive and loving she is. On top of that, she’s reliable, communicative, and just an all around kind person! She’s exactly who you’d want caring for your pets.
